    Thanks for publishing this instructional video...very helpful. I used a fine pore sediment filter (Rainfresh brand) instead of the Austin Spring one, but now I have no water pressure. Is the filter I used the reason why?

    When you open the faucet to remove the pressure, once the water runs dry, do you turn off the faucet before moving on to filter replacement? Thanks.

      I would suggest leaving it open until the filter is replaced to ensure the pressure is fully gone.

    Have you taken a look at Atlas Filtri's brand of filtration solutions? I think you'd be impressed by the quality and patented designs.

    I was under the impression that you should clean the housing when you change the filter. Is that not necessary?

      Cleaning the housing is only necessary if the housing is dirty or stained.

    I may have missed it, but when is it necessary to change the filters? I have a home master 3 stage, and i had gauges installed on each. Should i be paying paying attention to the gauge pressure or a specific timeline? edit- Found it, 2:45, for anyone who wants to know!

    What brand\ type of lubricant did you use?

    • @Martinwater
      @Martinwater  3 года назад +3

      The brand we used was Premier Repak. We used a non-petroleum silicone compound lubricant. The important aspect of the lubricant is that it is non-petroleum.
