Its authors Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon never knew who they were going to finally compose it for 'cause no one can take it away from this wonderful Kazakh man any more.
I have this on Spotify... My most played song.... I don't speak French, but I sing this in a my sleep! What his 2021 Digital Show version!!! It is a must!

One of the few other performances that is anywhere near as shocking is Marcelito Pomoy's cover of The Prayer, on Wish, if you haven't seen him. Like Dimash it is hard to believe what just happened.
I also really like Chris Klafford's acoustic Kitchen covers. He was on Sweden and America's Got Talent, and he does beautiful pure covers of Imagine, Ocean Eyes and In The Silence.

Я такое тоже видела. Правда, кот у меня был чёрный, а валериана была в виде сухой травы. Она стояла на полочке на веранде, в пачке. Когда я пришла с работы, кот был еле живой, а трава была раскидана по всей веранде вперемешку с кастрюлями, банками, шапками и прочими вещами)))

I know exactly what you mean - I am NEVER ready, I've listened to him every day for almost two years and every single time I almost (and sometimes actually, really) get an emotional, physical overload, as my nervous system antennas freak out... And it happens 100% with SOS Slavianski Bazaar. Just his perfect moves and gestures are food for overload - tears, goosebumps ... - not to speak of his voice! If anything comes near to being my dope it's Dimash's voice. And I need my daily fix! But easy, easy ... too much can be an overdose...
Dear Helga, I couldn't agree more! I too have to, desperately NEED to listen to Dimash every day. And sometimes, quite often, come to think of it, I just pause the song, because the emotion gets too powerful, too raw, it that makes any sense. But in a moment I just have to to hit play again, for I can't wait to hear his angelic voice. It sounds totally crazy I know. Well I'm drowning and, hell, I don't want to be saved. This will always be my favorite song in terms of lyrics that Dimash has done. His high notes when the lyrics talk about flying like a bird or being attracted upwards is beautiful. Same with the low notes talking about being grounded. Such great composition. 4:29 as an example
The lyric makes the scream so much more impactful because it's like he's reaching for something.

He composed this song when he was young and I think a family friend helped him with lyrics. If you pay attention to the instrumentals you’ll see his genius when it comes to composing even tho he composed it at a young age.
@Saya the lyrics were written by the father of one his classmates. There is an interview with him somewhere on youtube, where he talks about how Unforgettable Day came about. "Dad, guess what happened today at school. " said his son. "Dimash composed this great song. You must write the lyrics to it!" "Ok, but I'll have to spend time with Dimash to find out what kind of words would suit him." he replied, and the rest is history.

The most beautiful thing about this boy is that when he stands on stage, he is transformed himself, he is pure music, his voice, his body, his whole soul is music ... And that is what makes him unique, special , overwhelming, magnetizing ... I am 58, and I have never heard anyone like him, who with every single note directly reaches your heart and spirit!
