April Sponsel deserves prison for false accusations and malicious prosecutions, NOT bar membership. Sponsel and the Phoenix cops that participated in this are guilty of organized crime. These people are abusive, narcissistic animals.

I bet that Phoenix isn't necessarily worse than the criminal injustice system in some other cities. It might be that ABC15's investigations of the PD, DA's office, and judges and shining a light on their malfeasance just makes it look like Phoenix is particularly bad.

I'll never forget how, when body cams first came out, that Law Enforcement 'publicly' stated that 'the public will see what the police have to deal with when it comes to criminals'.
However, I said to people I know that 'the cops are going to rue the day that body cams came into existence'. Why would I say that? Because I was never FOOLED by the fallacy that the police 'protected and served' anyone other than 1. those in power...2. big business/the rich...3. those in law enforcement. I KNEW that body cams would show how the cops really are when they encounter those that they felt were deserving of their brutality.

It’s now a policy to review all evidence including body cameras before bringing charges? Like saying we now look outside to see if it’s raining before we grab an umbrella. Because of this incident they had to change their policy? I would assume it would be just common sense to review all evidence before bringing charges, that this should be the policy of every prosecutors office in the country and shouldn’t be optional. Wouldn’t this help alleviate the backlog of cases in the courts if we didn’t need defense attorneys having to present this evidence for a case which never should have been filed in the first place to be dismissed.
