      @@HometownAngler lol My son saw them on in-depth outdoors and got me one for Christmas. Going after Walleye with it this weekend so I’m pumped to try it out. Watched a couple other videos and not good as far as how to set it up and what to do. Great video you did. I sent it to a few of my clients that just bought some so they see how to get it set up. Good luck on the hardwater 👊🏼

    How do you guys get your bobber stop to not slip up and down the line? I’ve tightened mine as hard as I can and it still slides up on down on the line causing the device to not trip. Ive even tried a bead between the trigger and the stop

    @snwbrd2525 3 года назад +1

    Great video! Just bought one and it didn’t even come with instructions. My question is once you have your bobber stop adjusted to the preferred depth and you get a bite, do you just continue to reel in the bobber-stop into your reel spool?

    • @HometownAngler
      @HometownAngler  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the comment. Yes just reel it right up into the spool

    • @beerrun9961
      @beerrun9961 Год назад

      if realy cold it will start to get iced up but go buy a foam piece or make one and cut it to fit under the unit it will take longer to ice up

    if you keep the line bail closed it would automatically set the hook?

    • @HometownAngler
      @HometownAngler  3 года назад

      A few scenarios could happen. 1 it sets the hook. 2 it pulls the rod into the hole. 3 the fish gets off. I actually did that once then caught the Perch that stole my minnow lol. It's designed to pull line and then you set the hook. It could work but I wouldn't lol. At that point get an actual rod holder
