Tip: instead of using signs in the middle and placing slabs when you want to afk drops, you can place a fence gate in the middle and to afk drops, close the gate and the taras will die on the gate.

Just build an afk farm earlier by someone else and this showed up, I was going to ignore it, Then I remembered who upload it :D so I have to make another one because this one will be more efficient

I’m a more visual person and it took me like 6 tries to get a screen shot of the setup when it was done so I could build it. Lol. Likely my own problem but just a little constructive criticism. I'm on ironman and was trying to find a zombie minion farm for my raiders axe (to max out kills) and everything i tried breaked one way or another. this was the only one that worked. thanks!
The personal compactor must have been your most favourite quality of life item since now u can break chests without crafting the materials into enchanted hahaha
1) How to make sure that all tarantula minions will die to falling? I tried the traditional fall damage on tarantulas but some of them managed to survive even after falling for hundreds of blocks 2) what is the bgm in the last part of the vid where you break the chests?

Yep, I've learned how to do lot of stuff differently from you, and I've figured out a bunch of things myself :D That includes breaking chests instead of picking items, very efficient and satisfying.
I know this is from a year ago, but be careful with this now. They did a patch that changes the amount of things that can be on the ground and recommend people select items by hand.
Hey, when i use this, when i get out of my island the minions "kill the mobs" instead of them falling, like if there were blocks and the mobs were spawning and getting killed, not only reducing efficiency but also making it so they need super compactors, which will mean way less money for me.
Dude u saved me i was about to build a massive farm a tower that looks ugly so i was planning a decorating it but then i saw this and now i don’t need to spend hours building the farm
I don’t know if it’s true but I thought the single fence would be bad for multiple minions because while one minion spawns the spot onto of the fence would be occupied for a really short amount of time so it would take longer for the others to spawn them. I think it’s only a little bit of time while for example the spider is being spawned but if you have 24 minions slots and you afk for a long time it adds up at least if my theory is correct. Maybe you know better and could verify that this ideas is false or correct.
I'm pretty sure that mobs don't count as a blocks... which mean than even if a mob is standing on a block, minion still can spawn other mobs on the same block
yes finally a farm that literally cant be improved further(except the afk pool should have pressure plate instead of slab, cuz it gives more guild exp)
I have a question. How did you get your chest to stay next to each other. Because when I tried to do this on my island, it would make a double chest, but then I would need a space in between them before I could put another chest down.
great now fence gates aren't placable in skyblock. thanks hypixel. nvm u can use regular fences and since they 1.5 blocks tall they spawn in it and fall down

martinw the spiders aim at the afk pool because he built the pool right under the fence gate that the spiders are being placed on.
Because then he doesn’t need to spend 12 mil on super compactors and can just use personal compactor

That's how the farms work you afk in order to make maximum profit
