I've done that thing of putting 4 spruce sapplings together to make a big ass tree and got from foraging 8 to 17 with it like why does nobody else do it (still foraging 17 because i never did it again xD)
Bro you can literally use a dispenser with some sort of clock (optional) and it will grow trees for you so you don't have to bonemeal the saplings( Just make sure you place the sapling in the front of the dispenser at last so it won't how before you place the other three saplings and then just use the pet swap thingy to get even more exp coz you don,t have to bonmeal the sapling
You find a strat for everything but there is a new challanger approaching FISHING Ngl you are one of the smartest people in hypixel skyblock or even the world
Slow and waste of minions running + they will not always go in the right spot unless you use 4 minions at once and the tiny trees will somehow mess things up.
@@thepixelatedpie couple days of no minions is worth, and you could get a lot of minions around with 2 expanders and make those 4 blocks the only viable locations. Seems like it may work. Good idea DrStepan, you should test it out and let me know how it goes.
But is it more worthwhile than just placing saps? You’re still going to be sitting in one place using bonemeal and breaking trees with a 2s-1s cooldown...
where are you getting the 1.2m per hour from?? When I tested this with lvl 100 monkey & lvl 100 ocelot at basically max efficiency it got roughly 500k per hour...

I tested this method against the regular foraging method in the dark oak forest, using a god pot, full young, treecap, and legendary monkey pet (level 77). To get 50k foraging exp using this method it took 8 minutes and 39 seconds, which is 375,568 foraging exp per hour. To get 50k foraging exp using the normal method it took 6 minutes and 54 seconds, which is 458,715 foraging exp per hour. This means that this method is only ~82% as efficient as the regular run around and forage in the public lobby method. By the way, yes, I did have competition in the public lobby. Using a level 100 monkey would likely narrow this gap, but only by a little bit, as it would only further reduce the cooldown by around 10%, and it usually takes a little over a second to place the saplings and ench bone meal anyway. Also, this method is really, REALLY annoying and takes a lot of focus. You have to keep cycling the items in your inventory/chest to your hotbar, you have to get the timing right, you may misclick etc, not to mention the fact that you have to spend a lot of coin getting enough enchanted bone meal. If you're co-opped with 2, 3, or 4 people, this process can basically be entirely automated (each person only having to hold down one button), but otherwise, I would recommend the normal method.

Even assuming that you are taking exactly 1 second between chopping each log which is not realistic, it would only increase the exp per hour to 415,002, which is still much less than the conventional method's 458,715.
this topic is way to wide to give some general tips, just do what you think looks good, also if you wanna start you can try to pay attention what do you liked in other's people videos and try to implement to yours, or what you didn't enjoyed about other's people videos and try to avoid that I use davinci resolvve because it's free and as good or even better than premiere I made a macro for captions

I did this with coco beans on Ironman to get progress towards a replenish book and it was so helpful, but I didn’t think about using it on this!

Have you considered despensing sapplings with dispensers and a redstone clock thingy to make it practically automatic
Saplings can’t be placed by dispensers, however I think bonemeal can. Idk if it works with e bonemeal tho
