Ben Middeldorp speelt Gigi d'Agostino L'amour toujours op het kerkorgel te Tiel. Hiervan was een slechte kwaliteit video op internet te vinden. Veel mensen, waaronder wij zelf wilden hier een betere kwaliteit video van. Dus bij deze.
Sadly the church was empty during this great performance, but luckily over 1.6 million people didn't miss it.

I'm glad that the curch was empty. With people in it, there'd be noisy chatter, "awe"s and possibly claps. Everything that disturbs the music.
But that way, there's only the music, which makes it pleasant to listen to

Everyone knows they were drunken fools but the true fools are the ones with a sober mind trying to get this song banned. If these people sang the same lyrics while the german national anthem played in the back our politicians would try to ban the national anthem too?! A completely unassuming man quietly sits down at a pipe organ,.....and then proceeds to blow my socks off with this brilliant interpretation. ;)
Just goes to show you that the beautiful majestic voice of a pipe organ can cross over into genres that you might not think possible.
