  • Showing in Detail how to plant up cuttings I took earlier, then using them to start a huge container planter for this year. The Spillers used are lotus vine, mezoo, setcresea variegated leaf and yubi.
    We will also go over organic bug control and what works for me. Then I will go over on how to correctly water these newly planted cuttings and how to fertilize them.
    Here is the link for the Monterey organic insect spray that I use amzn.to/2N6dIAF
    Also the link for the Osmocote Fertilizer I mixed into the soil amzn.to/37MILtc

    Hi and thanks, loves! Great info. So good for the soul to see and feel the warmth of preferred season in the greenhouse!! Sayla is such a good little helper, and Fluffy likes her new found spot on the ledge. Shes into that plant. What is it, Catnip? Just kidding 😅

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm
      @TheLawrenceGardenFarm  4 года назад

      Thelma Hall Hey! Welcome to the network, and thank you so much for watching and commenting. You can put a small plant in a large pot, as long as it will be a larger plant to grow into it, and as long as you don’t overwater it! Only give it as much water as it needs for the amount of roots that it’s starting out with. Just like I explain in the video. I hope this video helps you! I learned everything I know from growing up in my parents greenhouse business. This is how we created containers to get ready to sell in spring!🌿🌺❤️

    Wow welcome back and the best to you and your family in the new year!! I was soooooo needing a video like this today, winter is far to long. Your video was like a vacation for me lol. The cuttings you planted are looking fabulous, so nice and healthy. Awesome job can't wait for the next video. The greenhouse is really a nice addition because you are able to take time and instruct on how to plant, care and water at a home gardeners level. Loved the family farm video's as well but this is more informative. Thank you for taking the time.

    Your greenhouse looks so nice inside. How much does it cost to build a greenhouse that size? Also, what happen to the kittens?

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm
      @TheLawrenceGardenFarm  4 года назад +1

      Catherine Bolling Thank you so much! We got our greenhouse kit from growers supply online. We were very happy with our experience. It is the Gothic frame. It doesn’t cost much to build one of these, it’s once you start adding gas, electric and water, and custom ends building benches for it, that’s when things start to add up! When we priced out a greenhouse the size, something more fancy, it was around $30,000. This hoop house, with plastic, this size 24x24 was around $5,000 that’s before all of the other things than that you need, including the lumber to build the end walls, we were close to around $2000 for that. We also spent around $1000 for the stone base/stone floor. Running The gas electric and water was approximately $4,000 including The Plumber and electricians labor/materials. The kittens all went to great homes!
