I am being told that the shooter was robbed and beaten numerous times. I am not making excuses.. But how can school officials allow students to rob and beat each other? Because it they do? Shootings will happen. If you are being beaten and robbed what are you to do? This could have been prevented.

Whoever bullied who, doesn't matter. These kids are not taught how to go about dealing with situations except with a gun. That's their answer to everything. No wonder these young kids are always in so much trouble. Teach your young kids how to handle life's situations without a gun! If you're bullied talk to a teacher, counselor, mother, father, principle, etc. Teach kids that violence is never the answer to anything! What ever happened to teaching love, understanding, patience, "Christian values", talking? And this doesn't have to do with being from Texas or owning guns. I'm from Texas and I know plenty of people that have never shot anybody except in self defense, so it's not the guns. I saw in the news recently that someone in Norway killed several people with a bow and arrow. People get killed with hammers, machetes, knives, etc. So it's not the object that kills, it's the person that kills and those people have never been taught how to deal with their anger in an appropriate manner.

Bullying does matter many of the school shootings are because they were bullied and nothing is ever done about it teachers don’t take it seriously. What needs to happen is any kid caught bullying gets suspended once then the next time they bully a kid they get kicked out of the school. Bullying is much worse then people think it is and if it didn’t happen to you then you can’t understand you don’t know what it’s like to not want to go to school to get bullied and tortured it can be so bad you pretend to be sick so u can stay home because it’s that bad. I’m not saying it’s ok to shoot anyone nobody has the right to end someone’s life what I am saying is bullying needs to be taken much MUCH more seriously. Bullying can effect someone for the rest of their life. The kids that were bullying in this case should get into trouble they need to be held accountable. If any teachers knew about the bullying and didn’t do anything they should be fired or suspended at the bare minimum. We need to finally take real action and hold students and teachers accountable for bullying it’s gotta stop. As for the shooter 12 years is a pretty light sentence for what he did that doesn’t set a good precedence.

4 people were injured, thankfully not killed. There shouldn’t have even been a gun in his backpack to begin with. Problem with kids these days is they’re afraid of getting beaten up, or intervening and stopping a fight. No instead they want to catch it on camera and do nothing but watch. With what’s been put out, the fight was over, broken up, and the shooter then decided he was gonna get him some revenge with a gun he illegally had on school property. They saying this bully allegation, but what if the shooter was the bully and it was his victim finally getting to the end of his patience and putting the bully in his place? That was my own experience, but Atleast the bully could stand up, dust off and have respect afterwards. If I was in school now, id have to worry if standing up to my bully would result in me getting shot.

On the defensive shooting side of this though, there is a very fine but definite line between self defense and retaliation. He retaliated and that’s why he’s in the wrong. This is stuff you learn when you can apply for your concealed carry license, you know when it’s legal to carry a handgun, at age 21. And not on school grounds.
Meanwhile other corporate media outlets is claiming the kid who was shot was an older white “bully”. It seems the family of the victim disagrees. In fact it seems like the victim was blacker than the shooter and totally uninvolved in the fight over some weed that caused the whole mess.
The little mass shooter psychopath is bonded out of jail now and celebrating with his family at multiple social media posted welcome home parties! He is all laughter and smiles. Since when was it self defense to lose a fight you started over a marijuana sale and to come back with a stolen handgun so you could shoot at multiple random people who weren’t involved?
The worst part is he was beat up by this thug and even though he had the Weapon he still didn’t draw the weapon after being hit, flipped, tossed, beat. As we can clearly see. If a 15 year old was bullying a 18 year old is probably cause they knew he wasn't a fighter this situation had to be going on! On the outside like before school and the 18 year old just got tired of him getting beat up! So he brought the gun to school for protection! And so happend that the situation didn't happend after school it happend in class! But what doesn't add up neither is that these two were also at one point friends! Which doesn't add up to me!
