I want Jose Otero to win so bad, it's a masterpiece. By far the best slow / modern ballad song. Incredible on the first listen but so many amazing songs this year! It's hard to guess.
It's so curious how only non-Spanish people think that songs like "flamenco" or "la lola" are very Spanish. "Flamenco" is the complete opposite of Spanish music and it is clear that it is a foreign product full of stereotypes that are not at all similar to the reality of Spanish music.
This year I really have no idea who is going to win since for me almost all the songs are good and I think most of the people are in the same situation
Agoney or Megara would just put on the best show. Agoney has stage presence, his vocals are so powerful and I depict a dark, sexy staging. Megara is so strong, painful and cheerful at the same time with a break in the song for some staging performance. These are my favorites by far!
This selection is honestly great. I love most of the songs. As expected there are some songs that are not my thing but most of them are good for me. Many of the songs sound different from one another and many are incredible to be honest. Loads of the songs are classically Spanish to me which is great, I always love when countries show their traditions in their music. Many of those songs would fit in Belgium’s 🇧🇪 canon in Eurovision which is unexpected for Spain but honestly great. My favourites are Alice Wonder (such a captivating vocal and song), Agoney (such a bop that is surprisingly dark), Famous (such a great party vibe with amazing vocals), Alfred Garcia (such a great vocal and progression, very beautiful), Artiz (such an interesting and dark flamenco (not pun-intended) vibe with great vocals and very Spanish), Jose Otero (such a great vocals and it has an amazing instrumental), E’femme (such a fun and strong package with loads of sass), Blanca Paloma (such an interesting vocal performance and song overall) and Sharrone (amazing vocals and such a bop musically). Overall the songs are strong and I am excited to see the performances in the live shows. So excited to see the results and who Spain will send to Eurovision.
It's quite funny you consider a song to be "Spanish" because it says Flamenco. I literally think it is one of the less Spanish songs, in fact, it is the only one with a foreign composer. My favourite ones are Fusa Nocta and Blanca Paloma (real Spanish), Alice Wonder, Siderland and Megara.
A mi es la que más me gusta con diferencia, pero no me pega ni con cola para Eurovisión. En cualquier caso Karmento ya ha ganado sólo con darse a conocer, estoy segura que su carrera va a despegar.
Fusa Nocta’s song is definitely my favourite, it sounds like a Rosalia song and I love Rosalia’s music sm For this same reason I like Blanca’s song I also really like Nochentera
Efemme, Sharonne Blanca Paloma Meler Vicco Megara Jose Otero rakky ripost, Alice Wonder, Karment Agoney . I like most of the songs again. Competitive list: Blanca Paloma Sharonne Megara .These are the ones I see fighting for top. them if they are all in the final.I am judging only songs now so thats why I picked these ones. My reasoning is simple : too much pop and radio friendly songs in the final should be hard for them enough to stay on close but not as a winner.
My favourite is José Otero (amazing power ballad, could this do like Pastora Soler in 2012, but hopefully without televote underrating it completely?). I also like Karmento (could we send something ethnic other than Flamenco from Andalusia for once? There's the bagpipes in 2013, but people underrated than song), Alfred (I don't know if he wouls do better in terms of placement though) and Vicco (fun song). There are too many songs that sound very generic / similar imo though, which drags the overall quality for me. And your pronounciation in Spanish is actually quite better than most other foreigners I have seen try to pronounce Benidorm 2023 song titles!
Twin melody are getting so many hate by Spanish community They are like famous tiktokers with 20M followers i think, but they are usually annoying , even more for adults and teens So if u see any comment like: "que lache" or "que cringe 💀" its normal 😅

As a Finnish I love getting noticed through Megara🤪

All songs are crazy. As we say in our top, It will be a amazing festival 🤗❤️🇪🇦
Lovely video, thank you Jude!

Thats the reason of that song, people who wrote it now that an international public dont know a lot about spanish culture :(
Flamenco is the name...and there is no flamenco in the song...lol
It's not because it says flamenco, it's because the rythm reminds of pasodoble and it has castenette-like sounds running on the back
After first listening
* Alice Wonder
* Fusa Nocta
* Agoney / Sofia Martin
Jose otero is amazing voice ❤
my top 5 from the netherlands 5 sayonara 4 tuki 3 la lola 2 quiero arder 1 uff
it's harder for me this time to pick my top favourite because the quality is more spread out amongst all entries.
Finally someone who like "La Lola" too
Megara, Sharonne and Siderland ❤️ I wish one of them to win (maybe hard but not impossible)
I think if Fusa Nocta is able to bring nice vocals and staging, she could win not only Benidorm but Eurovision, but I'm afraid with her live...
She already performed live. It was terrible.
She came last with awful vocals🙃
@@moonnni5559 thanks for the update

Agoney can do it live, high notes are his speciality

Alice Wonder y Karmento, la buena música no necesita fuegos artificiales.

Jude, Senidah is actually Slovenian not Serbian :D! She even took part in in EMA 2014 as a prt of group Muff.
Oh wow! I didn't realise since most of her music is in Serbian aha thanks for letting me know!

It's funny how you think "Flamenco" sounds Spanish just because it's named "flamenco". It sound more like Tango than Flamenco xD
