    I think the main concern of following chickens with cows is about the cattle eating chicken manure which could introduce tuberculosis in their system which can then get transferred into their milk. It's good to have the reverse, where the chickens follow the cows because they can scratch up the cow manure and eat any parasites and flies that are in it.

    Wondering why you were sending the 2 heifers off. Are you trying to keep your herd to a certain size?

      @@markodeen4105 I have others we are breading. Those don’t fit our program. Plus we have a long waiting list and need bundle meat

    Looks like a lot of that regrowth is tall fescue. Is that what that is? I don’t buy in any of that rank Forage stuff they’re beef cows. They’re meant to be foragers and grazers and clean up stuff like that think sometimes people are trying to make them too much l like a feedlot animal or dairy animal, kinda dissuades the practicality of the beef animal for producing product on low quality Forage
