I don't think so. On the contrary, Weiyoung is the most lucky female lead in a drama that I have ever seen. Even when she is framed many times and all the proof are well made against her, she always has the luck to defend herself and destroy the evil plans made for incriminate her. Some times I hate that. When in a drama or movie a lead is always right and never wrong, being the most intelligent and loved by every single person, make the story less real. Don't get me wrong, I like the drama and all of characters have good are interesting stories but, the female lead is the most annoying for me. People like her in real life doesn't exist, so I can't empathize with her.

Well, basic summary
1. Dramatic confession from Tuoba Jun to Li Weiyoung. Both accepts and forgives each other in the end.
2. Li Changle decides to betray Li Changru for her own gain
3. The day before Li Wei Young's execution, Li Changru's two face is revealed. Thus, deeming Li Weiyoung innocent.
4. Princess An Le is still alive and in fact ran off to break off the engagement. Engagement between both parties broken off.
5. The King was about to kill off Li Changru but she claimed she's pregnant with Tuoba Yu's child. King decides to wait until she gives birth before deciding her punishment.
5. Plot twist, Prince Yuan Lie(Li Min De) and Princess An Le was pre-prepared as Li Weiyoung told them beforehand something bad is going to happen to Princess An Le and about Li Changru's two face.
- You can see the entire gang there celebrating after suceeding
6. General Jiao, the general threathens Prince Yuan Le to get the map(extremely important to the Ran Rou kingdom) or else he will see Li Weiyoung's corpse.
7. Li Changru is sent off to some palace and is banned from leaving till she gives birth. She starts sewing babies clothes and sents it to Tuoba Yu but was rejected coldly

I prefer Touba Yu; his acting is top-rate. Pity he had to play villain. How nice he ended up with WY.

Ive Always Found It Funny How In chinese Dramas Like These How somebody can Commit Sooo Many Crimes But Can Be Afraid and Start Begging for Forgiveness After? Its Just Odd But I Love chinese Drama Regardless❣
It's not always the case but the main reason this happens is because the characters hold a lot of things dear to them. Plus, if they're alive, they can still change and meddle into the future. That's why assassinations are often the best decisions if possible (because dead people can't talk).

毛晓彤演技是真好。应该算剧中女演员里演技最好的之一了。楚楚可怜，求而不得，自欺欺人，阴险狠毒，一往情深，等等，把李常茹各方面的情感都表达的淋漓尽致，都能引发观众共鸣。演反面角色反而招人同情，而且颜值也高（甄嬛传里颜值最高），演技秒杀一众小花。

Wei Young forgave her lover so quickly. Flogging 50 times is no big deal anymore. No matter what the Prince has for reasoning, or excuses she shouldn't let him off that easily. The writers never thought about how this would still piss off some of their audience, at least me. He still deserved a slap in the face from Wei Young. So many women characters in Chinese dramas are tortured like this. Sick, in my opinion. 😠
