Thank you FSU and The Marching Chiefs for honoring this most wonderful man and coach. Bobby we thank you for all that you did for everyone you touched! Go Noles!
Thank you for posting this. As a Chiefs Alumni and graduate of 08’, I have so many happy memories. He would always visit and salute the band every game. Also played a surprise Happy Birthday with Chiefs on his 75th. He was so generous and down to earth. He will be missed.
Thank you coach Bowden. I couldn’t go to FSU b/c of out of state cost but a FSU fan all my life . I went to TEXAS TECH. So here’s to you coach ..... GUNS UP. Scalp’em . My god bless you and your family and may god bless the Seminole fans and alumni. RIP dadgummit
Thank you for posting this or many of us would never get to see this special moment because the idiots at ABC/ESPN can’t be bothered to show anything off the field unless it’s a protest or something politically correct. Bobby Bowden was a good man and deserved this moment of respect and thanks for a life of service to a university and community.
@@Noledad77 yes - They mentioned it. So I went to RUclips to find this clip. It was awesome. Why couldn’t ABC show any of it? Again the only time the networks care about anything off the field is if it politically correct.
Im glad I got to see this. Marching Chiefs did a phenomenal job playing Amazing Grace. Coach Bowden looking down with a smile on his face. RIP 🙏 Coach Bowden
I grew up during the Bobby Bowden era. First sports event I ever witnessed live was watching the Noles defeat the Gators in the 5th Quarter in the French Quarter in the stadium. I've been a Seminole since. Thank you Bobby for giving me a love for life and a love for football. :D
My Mom, Anita Hooser Graduated from Woodlawn high School in Birmingham, Al the same year Bobby Bowden did. They studied together on a few occasions. She said he was so nice and came from a very wonderful family.
Thank you so much for posting this, especially since the broadcasting company ABC denied us and the viewing nation the chance to see and hear last evening instead making us listen to their "talking heads" blather.
I grew up a Tennessee Vols fan, but I've been a 'Noles fan since the 1998 Fiesta Bowl, when UT and FSU inaugurated the short-lived Bowl Championship Series. R.I.P. to one of the GREATEST college football coaches of all time. Godspeed, Bobby Bowden.
Thank you so much for posting. Made me cry. Such a beautiful song and rendition. A fitting tribute to a great man and coach. Faith. Family. Football. RiP Bobby.
On a funny side note, he used to drive a bright yellow 2005 Hummer back in my days. I ran into him and his wife Julia once at a local Publix. So nice. 😂
A little late to the party but even as a first year chief, we all know who Bobby was and our very thankful for his contribution to the community and the university.

While I don't disagree, ABC did mention the performance.

Yes, ABC denied us the privilege of viewing this very moving tribute to the greatest, Coach Bobby Bowden!! Thank you so much for posting this!!!
The only bad thing about getting old is watching so many die.
I am a Big 10 graduate but have heard Bobby speak at a fundraiser and at my church.....an "Amazing" man...fitting tribute.....God Bless Bobby!

Nothing but love for Bobby!
I was there
Thanks for a moment of faith in a politically correct world. Amazing Grace is a fitting tribute to what I know about Coach Bowden.
And yet you had to use Bobby’s death to bring your own personal politics into it.
Bobby was a devout Christian
That was beautiful, thanks for sharing for those of us who couldn't be at the game
Thanks for posting this special moment in time! Know that Bobby Bowden will always be missed!
The only thing better than this was playing the same arrangement at our first game back after 9/11. MCATDT

Been nice if you had played that at this funeral. I wonder how many of this kids even know who Bobby Bowden even is,

Bobby is probably rolling over in his grave with the current state of his beloved football program.
Thank you for posting college football lost one of its great coaches
This is the perfect tribute to Bobby. I think the whole game actually honored him perfectly down to losing by a wide right field goal.
Only it wasn't wide right.
Then in overtime the team honored him with missing a field goal that cost them the game. Poetry.
