Jean D'Souza I’m on ps4, but I made a backup and deleted my old save file to replay the game, so I won’t jump in to co op for a while. Try joining AC: Multiplayer Revival discord server. Edit: link discord.gg/9fUQshH or just google the server Good luck
I’ve watched a lot of your videos and I play Unity with advanced techs myself but that triple killed you pulled at 2:10 is hands down one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen done in Assassin’s Creed as a whole. It’s like a scene straight out of a cinematic trailer or something
Me and 2 of my friends were legit like this. We would clear a room in 5 seconds tops because of the amount of blades and smokes we had. I remember saying “ alright as soon as i smoke, you will phantom blade the gunner, I will assassinate the the guy on the right, and you will run towards the guy on the far left.” It worked perfectly and thats why I love this mission and game in general.
I feel that too. The story had a lot of cut, and rushed, content. When you play it, you can see the parts of it that are really legendary, and you can also see parts of it that seem out of place, or like they were supposed to connect to something elsewhere in the game, but that connective tissue is missing, and very transparently so. In many ways, the exact same is true for the gameplay. What the designers _intended_ this game to be like, and what it's _actually_ like, are often very different. Combat breaks often. Stealth sometimes stops working for literally no reason. Movement is perfectly fine as long as the player doesn't attempt any modicum of precision, but as soon as you attempt to move with very _specific_ ways and routes in mind, that will begin to break and fall to dust in your hands as well, sieving away through your fingers. Still, despite these objective flaws, Assassin's Creed Unity is a very special game. And I'm glad it exists at all.
@@LeoKRogue All very true. Honestly some of the co op missions had the historical stuff I hoped to have seen in the main story. It could've been so dramatic and tragic. Maybe some day Ubisoft will make a spin off series where they focus on assassin's in European cities again and focus on being an assassin. Pretty much unity and Syndicate but fleshed out. For some reason I don't see them going away from the huge world rpg stuff. Especially to go back to what unity and Syndicate wanted to achieve. :(
I definitely see them going back to Urban/City-Based stuff, and the reason for that is the same reason they moved away from it in the first place. It's very simple. People get bored, and developers are people. Individual studios have a lot of pull and a lot of power over at Ubisoft, to make the kinds of games they want to make, provided they're not constrained by the technology available to them. This mechanism is why Quebec were able to make a game like Odyssey without anyone stopping them. This mechanism is why a game like Unity even released despite being so challenging and so unapproachable to the average player. This mechanism is also what will give us back city-based games _eventually,_ but what you're right about is that we will have to wait some time. Wait for what? For those studios to get bored of what they're currently doing. Because that'll always happen. We've seen it before, we'll see it again. Games are made by human beings who start to get bored of the same kind of game they've made. The nice thing about games like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, is that they're so massive and they're so content-dense that I can definitely see the developers who make them start to have a desire to revisit those city-based Assassin's Creed games, for no other reason than it's something fresh and varied, something different from what they've been making. In that sense, having hope isn't just something that feels good. It's also logical! :D
@@LeoKRogue Woah. That makes sense. I'm usually very cynical but you gave me hope haha. I just thought that the whole rpg stuff made sense to ubisoft because it's so easy to keep players playing and it's something that appeals to the masses. I do definitely see them continuing on with those kinda of RPGs in some sense, but yeah we may get stuff like unity again.
It's definitely a sad state of affairs. If you've not yet joined the AC Multiplayer Revival Discord server, I highly recommend it. It's managed by a friend of mine, and it hosts a lot of match-making for Unity (and other Multiplayer AC games) that's usually made up of fairly 'serious' players who enjoy playing intently and coordinating.
@@LeoKRogue I think I might finish the game for my first play through and then join the server. Thanks anyway man it's great to see you read new comments to old videos.
This is our favorite mission to train. There are just so many guards in every possible formation, you get to use all kinds of different techs. We've come very close to pulling this off with no detections with a full group, and it's so cool

Watching your videos made me pick up Unity again because it's a game I loved half the time and I really miss the old style of Assassins Creed. I've been trying to play co op missions solo and getting my ass kicked because I'm not that great and I'm alone. Do you ever solo run any co op missions or is that ill advised and I'm stupid for trying?
That's great! It is possible to solo every single co op mission, yes. If you're looking to match with others, Google the AC Multiplayer Revival Discord. It's run by a friend of mine. For playing solo, have lots of Projectiles and a good amount of Health Skills upgraded. Smoke, Phantom, Berserk and Bullets basically define how easily you can beat hard content by yourself. These items, when used well, can beat anything in the game no matter your power level. I have a video called How To Play Unity Quickly. That'll probably help some.
@@LeoKRogue Cheers, appreciate the reply. Your tutorial videos are really well made and don't waste unnecessary time, if you ever decide to make a more video essay type video on something you have a take on I'm sure it would go down pretty well, I'd definitely watch it. Will be keeping an eye on your channel for any AC Valhalla content as well, what little we've heard about that game leaves me very hopeful for it being the next generations Black Flag but Vikings, and hopefully not too much grinding or magical powers.

Why do other people place smoke bombs when it is already placed (everyone does it when I'm doing missions with them)
Two reasons:
1) To Extend the time that area is Safe
2) Because they don't trust their allies' cloud-placement :P
3) Because the netcode of this game is kind of garbage and your smoke doesn't appear in their game.
