    I started doing this last week. I am on my 4th or 5th day and then I go outside to do that 10 minutes of moderate running you teach about. After, I still do a bit of strength Pilates /yoga or a bit of exercise with dumbells, because of my osteoporosis, and I finish with a few stretches and a few squats and I feel great. Thank you sir.

    Thanks!! I have had a morning routine that is an abbreviated version of both qigong & kundalini yoga moves with breathwork. I've been doing it for a decade & it's a game-changer that sets the tone for the entire day. I can do them when I travel, if I am not feeling well I just take them more slowly, I have never regretted NOT doing my morning stretches'. I really like some of these and will incorporate some of them in. Much love 💫

      Sounds great! Breathwork is an amazing thing. I found out about it via the Wim Hoff method, but am quite off put by many things about that "movement". Having a routine that works while travelling is super good. Btw. Episode on a horse stance coming up. Probably related to the things you're doing already.

    Best one so far. I'd like to see more acting on it... The crying bits and jokes. Also, I missed a sequence with the entire routine in the end so one could watch it and practice together. Cheers, mate!

    In the 1980's, I was in the U.S. Navy my home base was Okinawa 75%, Yokosuka 25%. I really liked Japan and still think it is on top of my list of places to go when I dream because I may never go that way again. I'm 62, really like your videos, but I am 5'8'' inches tall and 225lbs., you would say "muscular". Your vids are easy going and make me think of how different U.S. and Japanese cultures are! It is tragic how physical culture is so dominated by
    aggressive, steroid filled, selfie taking individuals. So much, that I've not attended a "commercial gym" in almost 20 years! Funny.

      I hope you still find the time and resources to go and visit or maybe even live in Japan if that's what you're dreaming about sometimes. It will be scary. It will be wonderful :D

    Great video! This routine has really helped me, but somehow I still slack off sometimes and start skipping days... Which is stupid because I do feel more positive and energetic when I do it. Any pro tips on persevering?

    • @sendykafitover40
      @sendykafitover40  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks! I'd say combine it with some other routine. Deciding that you will always do it after brushing your teeth in the morning for example but before your coffee. That means adding three minutes to your 2 minutes of teeth brushing. 5 minutes in total. :D And you're Mr Sunshine afterwards :D and get your coffee as a reward.

    Is there any other stretching exercise that you do to stretch your calves?

    • @sendykafitover40
      @sendykafitover40  Месяц назад

      Asian Squat also stretches calves. If I feel that there is a part of my body that could do with additional stretching, I do a few more of the ones I feel I need after I finish the 3 minute set.

    • @sendykafitover40
      @sendykafitover40  Месяц назад

      Well, It'd be nice to do this routine outdoors if you don't want to drive your downstair neighbors crazy. Plus it's always good to get some sunlight and embrace the natrual environment. But if you must do it indoors, try jumping lightly and landi on the front end of your feet.😉
      (Don't blame me if your neighbors still try to kill your afterwards.)😅
