- Today it is a very short video on How to put a Worcester Greenstar Ri in to service mode or min / max mode for commissioning and servicing purposes.
High fire and low fire modes are used by service and repair engineers when work is being undertaken on a central heating boiler, This work is for reference and training purpose only and must be undertaken by individuals who are competent to do so.

Thanks for this super helpful video Dan - it saved my day. I'd just finished a chemical clean of my F&E central heating system and after refilling the system and bleeding the radiators, turned the boiler back on. There was clearly some air affecting the boiler operation as it tried to come on, fired for a bit then cycled off. Going through your re-commission process and running the system at max for around 20 seconds did the trick.
Excellent glad it helped hopefully you can subscribe 👍🏻
@@DoItAllDan It also helped that I found the Instruction Manual online and identified the bleed valve inside the boiler. There were a lot of air pockets to disperse and this all helped.
🙌Thankyou, you solved my issue mate, really didn’t see that reset until you pointed it out😂
Glad it helped 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for video
Is it possible to fit a timer that controls hot water and heating separately?
So that hot water and heating can be operated individually?
Thanks!
Hi, I’ve just bled my radiators. How do I check pressure / repressurize the system on this boiler please?
I have the same boiler that has a flashing blue light but the green light on the on/off dial is off
How do you bleed this system to check for any air ? Also I have noticed an air lock in the hot water system, any help would be great.
Is the airlock from the hot water draw off? (Taps does not have water)
Does the boiler require a demand as well to fire into max ?
Yes
No, as you can turn into service mode/ chimney mode
@@DoItAllDan Thank you.
does anyone Know where can i find the pressure lvl on this boiler model
Did you find out? Been here for hours searching.
@@TheShardddid you have any joy finding the answer?
@@michaelgriffiths5723None.
Someone told me that these boilers are not pressurised. As they run off a tank in your loft. So they work differently.
@@TheShardd I've got to the bottom of mine. I have a separate gauge on my system. It's on the filling loop next to my hot water tank. If that helps you out any?
@@michaelgriffiths5723 where did you find it next to your tank as my boiler is connected to my tank in my attic and I need to check the pressure
