Great video. We are little biased as we have had pleasure to own DL since August. Two minor points on the Shower and Bedroom worth calling out. In the Shower room you mentioned there was nowhere to put your shampoo - there is a big recess in the middle of the panel for holding lots of shampoo and wash. I am not a small chap and I find it ok. To be honest though if I am on a site with showers - I will always use their hot water and shower cubicles over my own. I like to have a smooch about and stretch my legs plus a camp site cubicle is generally going to be bigger than anyone's MH shower. That said we haven't really gone much off grid yet but for us the shower cubicle was not a deal breaker In the bedroom you forgot two other huge storage areas under the back 2 steps. The first one is linked to a drawer from the garage and is perfect for stashing dirty laundry. The 2nd is a good size for storing drop down bed linen etc. I agree also that the DL is more practical if you want to have a scooter in the garage as that extra height on the door does make a difference when you start to measure up (which I did). We looked at DC but realized we would need to unload the garage of the scooter in order to lower the bed - which would be impractical plus negating the added security of storing in the garage. The other benefit of the DL bed is that if you are a dog owner (of certain breeds!) then they are quite happy with the bit in the middle - the only down side is if you do use the infill - it does need to removed to get to steps again else it is a bit of a drop - perhaps an additional set of fold up steps to it might be useful with it fitted. I think all vehicles need to match the owners lifestyle needs but agree otherwise, its a great vehicle and its like moving a very nice hotel room around with you! Its difficult to pick fault with the Sonic
Thank you for watching and adding those few bits as an owner too 😊👍 I still love the Sonic..it is a great motorhome. Enjoy your travels in 2024, I am already busy planning… 🤩
So there shower in the DL is smaller than the DC? We looked at some 2019 sonics today but I think i like the long single beds over the island but I do like a bigger shower as we do off grid!
Thank you for watching, I love the Sonics. Yes the island bed models have a larger shower, the floor space is about the same but the cubicle then widens, giving more room to move around. It depends how much room you need in the shower. I shower on board in our Adria and we have the island bed. We had the long singles before that but we prefer island. Maybe find a few other manufacturers you like in comparison and see if they work any better. I always say there is a compromise..it just depends what you are willing to compromise on when you are spending so much money. 😊
Hi Mine should be coming to chelston Motorhomes within next few days / week I’m sure they would let you do a blog mat say’s hopefully we should be picking it up second week in October can’t wait Regards Denis hitchen
Funnily enough I just reviewed that this week.. I love that layout… as you know we have always been pleased with the Adria brand. The Rio Grande would be high on my list after seeing it. The compromise was the room around the bottom of the bed, which might be a problem for some people. My review will be out in October I think.. I hope that helps. 😊
yer, thanks. we are just coming out of a Lusso II as cant get on with the bed on it. we love the layout but coming from a twin axel to a single axel has made me a bit concerned about how the tow but i have seen a few of your video about adria and how well they tow, i would be keen to hear what you think. Kind Regards Mick @@HereWeTow
@mickgray1216 The Adrias tow really well… and you only have two tyres to worry about and you dont need a twin motormover. Yes, they are long, the Rio is just under 8.2 metres but I have never heard any Adria owner complain about towing stability. I would definitely suggest you have a look for yourself and see how the Alpina range feels to you. Happy caravan hunting..
I’ve heard a bit about the showers might leek due to possible mastic letting it though how was yours on all the miles you did with it. Sorry to be a pain but not a lot of info about Adria across the internet. 😊
Would love to know how they work out their pricing structure at Adria. I would like to see real wood in a motorhome of that price, sorry but it’s just cheap looking. It’s 110 thousand more than a paid for my Swift 850 Challenger X. What a terrible design on the layouts the bedroom is a joke on the DL.
@AIR-AILE Its a suitable GVM for its size to enable a good payload. If you have C1 on your licence it isn’t an issue. My motorhome has a GVM of 4000kg. The weight isn’t an issue to me. If you want 3500kg then you would need to look at a smaller motorhome. There aren’t many integrated motorhomes under 3500kg due to their size. Thank you for watching
@AIR-AILE We don’t have the Sonic Plus in the UK, just the Sonic and Super Sonic..at 3500kg you are getting a very small payload. On a SONIC 700 you would be limited as to what you could add equipment wise and you would be left with about 300kg of payload. I think they are marketing the 3500kg to appeal to a larger market who only have a cat B licence. Interesting the differences in the UK market and EU market. 😊
Great video as usual ! Hadn’t realised the differences in the shower sizes or bedroom storage - very informative. 😊
Thank you for watching 😊
It's a great channel I've watched all the videos
Thank you ☺️
Great looking motorhome and will stand out on a pitch, my fav as well.
Thanks for watching 😊👍

Hi guys I know it’s nothing to do with this video, but please what your opinion on the new Adria Rio Grande.

Thanks a lot, we have already taken the plunge and picking ours up on the 24th.
You know what they say, “ in for a penny in for a pound” 😊

Thanks for watching.. yes, you don’t see wood in many motorhomes now. Enjoy your Swift and happy towing 😊
£139300? I’ll have two.
Thank you for watching 😊
Dommage qu’il soit poids lourds 😢😢
Vous confirmez qu’il est poids lourd ?

@@HereWeTowc’est surprenant , le sonic plus est 3500 et le sonic suprême non alors qu’ils font 100 kg d’écart … 😢
