From the beginning (even before GE15) a trap was already set for him. Sadly, he stepped into it. Firstly, moving him from Rembau to Sungai Buloh to contest where he was sure to faced overwhelming odds. Secondly, knowing his ambitious nature, they knew he would be explosively reactive over the "no contest motion" of the top two UMNO posts. I sympathise with him. He is one of the politicians that I admire and hope to be PM one day. However, I see his current predicament as a blessing in disguise. If he remained in UMNO, his political career would be stifled. Take Anwar's case as an example and precedence. Once an UMNO strongman he was also kicked out (and even jailed) but now he returned as the 10th PM of Malaysia. So, Khairy still has a formidable future in Malaysian politics.

Because he knew the corruption will destroy the country as we lived thru for many decades. Because of the large number of evils, they cannot find corruption in Anwar, so they set him up with adultery court case. KJ had been with UMNO with many scandals. He saw many corruptions went in and out but he never voice out. He only voice out when he wants a Presidential post which will eventually lead him to become PM. You cannot compare him with Anwar.

He should just prepare it quietly and when the time comes Zahid will learn of it. There's no need to give Zahid the heads-up. When you do that, this is what happens. 27:56 This has always been on my mind about KJ. He's a very forward thinking, progressive guy, I always find it weird that he's in UMNO. But hearing that he's been in UMNO for 23 years, he might have just been lulled into comfort. Despite his answer about the layered dynamics in political parties, UMNO's stance has always been narrow and segregative, not unlike PAS honestly. There are better options, PH being one. Either way, looking forward to his political journey moving forward.

I wont say he is the best or good even nor deny he has had some issues before.
But I remember the Pandemic and PKP period.
He became the health Minister half way through, by which time our governments response to the crisis had become an absolute shit show.
Im not exagerating when I say that Malaysias experience with the Covid 19 wave peak was due partially to the virus, the other half was due to the governments efforts.
I dont think it would have been that bad if we were lead by a pack of birds.
The only competent person who displayed some leadership skills was the Health DG but unfortunately despite of his heroic efforts the monkeys who clambered into seats of power by the backdoor sidelined and over rode him.
The price we ended up paying during the pandemic was reduced greatly after Khairy was made the health minister and given the task none of the others wanted to touch with a long pole.
He did upset certain quarters like the anti vaccine groups but by large he did a good job and anyone who feels otherwise just have to remember the mumbling idiot he replaced, some Adam Bhaba or Ali baba.
I would like to thank Khairy for that.

As far as politic is concern, KJ will raised and if he is patience enough he can rejoin umno and becomes President umno one day. However because he is too aggressive in critic to current umno leadership, he may not be a good team member. Having said that, it is not true to say what MT umno did to KJ was totally wrong, they were deciding based on current scenario where umno is trying to revive and recover.
