Most of the ph ministers are ones that really go to the ground and observe, and from observation, find solutions to the issues. Minister Loke's work etiquette should be praised as he is almost reaching the working standard of Japanese. Moving forward, do concentrate more on your portfolio. Focus less on distractions and voices that demand the collapse of the unity goverment, for we as rakyat, what we want, would be the capabilities. Stay focus and do what you think is right to bring benefits to this country and rakyat, as whole.

I just got back from KL days ago. Travelling in Public Transport has been a breeze. We avoided taking grab here and there and decided to take the LRT, MRT and monorail wherever possible. I am impressed with the MRT system. I cant name the line but i know it is yellow colour, starting from Ampang Park. I was super impressed on how nice, clean and smooth it was. I am from Singapore and seeing how KL now has these kind of public transport really makes me wanna come back to KL soon. I then realise that public transport in KL is better and quicker than driving especially when in KL. The only hiccup we went through was that they was no connection between Bandaraya to Masjid Jamek so had to transfer to free shuttle by bus.
Yellow is MRT putrajaya line 😁 We hope MOT Mr Loke will continue improving until the MRT-3 Circle Line in 2028 for fully integrated connectivity just like Singapore.

Well said YB Anthony Loke. A lot of things will change by instituting effective training and leadership excellence in any organization. That is a definite competitive advantage. Use formal and informal leadership model to make change. There are always many possible methodologies to achieve these challenges. Importantly involve the employees in the structure - ownership concept.
Congrats YB Anthony for the wonderful job! But can we go to the next level in terms of transport amenities. Hope YB can consider to reintroduce the usage of TRAMP around every city centre in Malaysia as most city in the developed country around the world such as Zurich, Istanbul, Melbournel, Milan etc are having now. The contruction is simpler & cheaper than MRT or LRT, means the fees should be cheaper, & it can also cover a wide range of routes as they are using the existing roads which also much safer, and if you ask me as a Malaysian, i would prefer to travel in TRAMP rather than MRT. Plus this could also bring Malaysia to the next level in becoming the next developed country in Asia. My two cent..TQ 16:44

I'm a Singaporean who tours Malaysia regularly. I was astounded how little commercial spaces there were along the train stations. I understand in the past 70% of Revenue came from those spaces when SMRT was listed a decade ago on the SGX. Would y'all be looking at revenue from there so as to subsidise and at least breakeven? I stayed at an Airbnb in Sentul on the LRT and then took a train (and the shuttle bus) I was astounded how can Sentul a station which has reasonable population not have shops. Same thing with Masjid Jamek. It astounds me so much empty space and no one sells things. Why is it not rented out. Also, Nga Kor Ming ought to sort out the urban planning. I was astounded how the Kajang Satay can exist next to the MRT station. I mean, how do you have such low density.

Our public transportation needs lots of improvement. We are still very far from our neighbouring country Singapore in terms of efficiency & convenience.

Then you lead by 80% macro and 20% micro. The 20% micro is still essential to know the details on the ground. Importantly you develop your next line managers who are performance-based leadership.
I think he, as a pragmatic leader, knows that. I believe his approach is to go to the ground and quickly understand the problem and assess downlines who could be moved up and given more responsibilities. In our current political environment, promoting the 'wrong' people has political consequences. He needs to tread carefully. So, being hands on in the initial period would help him better manage at a later stage. On the question of 80 vs 20%, how long do you think it takes for a relatively new minister to achieve the ideal balance?

I just got back from KL days ago. Travelling in Public Transport has been a breeze. We avoided taking grab here and there and decided to take the LRT, MRT and monorail wherever possible. I am impressed with the MRT system. I cant name the line but i know it is yellow colour, starting from Ampang Park. I was super impressed on how nice, clean and smooth it was. I am from Singapore and seeing how KL now has these kind of public transport really makes me wanna come back to KL soon. I then realise that public transport in KL is better and quicker than driving especially when in KL. The only hiccup we went through was that they was no connection between Bandaraya to Masjid Jamek so had to transfer to free shuttle by bus.

We hope MOT Mr Loke will continue improving until the MRT-3 Circle Line in 2028 for fully integrated connectivity just like Singapore.

That is why Malays are worried in terms of action taken and being proactive when in Parliament. If the rakyat wants the snail's pace development and run along with the snail's pace party( Yes, I am referring to YOU MCA & MIC). Vote for PAS or Bersatu. Don't complain later when roads are not repaired, the quality of water is not improved, the economy is not stabilized and corruption is not abolished. You deserve the Gov you voted for and I for one did not regret voting for Kerajaan Perpaduan.
FYI, the Malays form the majority in PH too. Non-Malays should take a leaf out of Anthony Loke's 'book'. Stop emphasising on principles and trumpeting 'Red Lines', by unconditionally supporting the PM because he is the best man for the job. Let this UG improve, establish good governance and build up the political maturity of Malaysians. Hopefully, when we are there, Malaysians can openly discuss anything under the sun!

@@adamiskandar5107 and exactly how many of those PAS supporters made up the whole malay population? U can imagine AT LEAST 60% of them. Which proves the post owner's point. MOST malay voters are too blinded to envision the possibility of national prosperity out of religious "gimmick" performed by other coalition. While I would not go so far as to say our country is at the top but in terms of direction, we're somewhat at the right track to recover regardless of what PAS supporters think about the UG.
I do agree with the second part of ur comment that emphasizes on public criticism as that is the basis of a democratic country but are everyone else scrutinizing the current gov for everything they do realised the importance of this? I highly doubt it.

Without emotion I agree with Anthony Loke how he sees and decides basing on the current very CHALLENGING political climate.
For the sake of MULTICULTURISM he has no other BETTER option but to go along with PMX and other political parties.

Well said YB Anthony Loke. A lot of things will change by instituting effective training and leadership excellence in any organization. That is a definite competitive advantage. Use formal and informal leadership model to make change. There are always many possible methodologies to achieve these challenges. Importantly involve the employees in the structure - ownership concept.

Congrats YB Anthony for the wonderful job! But can we go to the next level in terms of transport amenities. Hope YB can consider to reintroduce the usage of TRAMP around every city centre in Malaysia as most city in the developed country around the world such as Zurich, Istanbul, Melbournel, Milan etc are having now. The contruction is simpler & cheaper than MRT or LRT, means the fees should be cheaper, & it can also cover a wide range of routes as they are using the existing roads which also much safer, and if you ask me as a Malaysian, i would prefer to travel in TRAMP rather than MRT. Plus this could also bring Malaysia to the next level in becoming the next developed country in Asia. My two cent..TQ 16:44
Fully electric autonomous public transport vehicles are the way to go going forward. China is leading the way in this aspect.
I do hope that they could introduce TRAMP in our country. But sadly that the the current road condition and infrastructure would be very hard for them to do so.

I'm a Singaporean who tours Malaysia regularly. I was astounded how little commercial spaces there were along the train stations. I understand in the past 70% of Revenue came from those spaces when SMRT was listed a decade ago on the SGX. Would y'all be looking at revenue from there so as to subsidise and at least breakeven?
I stayed at an Airbnb in Sentul on the LRT and then took a train (and the shuttle bus) I was astounded how can Sentul a station which has reasonable population not have shops. Same thing with Masjid Jamek. It astounds me so much empty space and no one sells things. Why is it not rented out.
Also, Nga Kor Ming ought to sort out the urban planning. I was astounded how the Kajang Satay can exist next to the MRT station. I mean, how do you have such low density.

Our public transportation needs lots of improvement. We are still very far from our neighbouring country Singapore in terms of efficiency & convenience.
YB Anthony Loke, one of the smart solutions is to identify and build few key managers who have the experience and expertise to assist you in executing your tasks. Then you lead by 80% macro and 20% micro. The 20% micro is still essential to know the details on the ground. Importantly you develop your next line managers who are performance-based leadership.
I think he, as a pragmatic leader, knows that. I believe his approach is to go to the ground and quickly understand the problem and assess downlines who could be moved up and given more responsibilities. In our current political environment, promoting the 'wrong' people has political consequences. He needs to tread carefully. So, being hands on in the initial period would help him better manage at a later stage. On the question of 80 vs 20%, how long do you think it takes for a relatively new minister to achieve the ideal balance?

It is a pity that the earlier government has not maintained nor upgraded her infrastructure over so many years. This current government has a lot on their load which cannot be created overnight.
