    What you said at 4:22 is something I wish was presented to society more often. People seem to never even want to try, possibly leading to an unhappy life. It's something I had thought about before and have used to help motivate myself after failing something, but it's also great to have a reminder

    Great video. The last remark is never give up. This video was helpful for me. I also like the idea that all your failures are never going to appear on your resume. Nobody cares about those. That's so true. Great video brother.

    • @vickryan
      @vickryan 4 года назад

      Yet, at the same time, what i mean is it's a great video, BUT..... ppl need to know that everyone finds a job, lands a job ultimately, in many various ways. There is no "1 size fits all". There is no "this is how you get a job". And it's irritating when people present information as such, as if "this is the way YOU are going to get a job too!" No. You can't say that. You don't know that. A video like this should be pre-empted with a disclaimer, "this is how i got my job, but remember, you should also try other avenues bc there might be some other way or technique that is better for you, more effective for YOU, to get job." For example, some ppl send out 10,000 resumes and then get a job. Whatever way WORKS, that will be your final answer, and you don't know this answer until after the fact, after you are hired. So there's really no way to make a video like this. It's an impossible video. I hope this is making sense, what i am saying here. Just add a disclaimer at the beginning, and i will be happy. I hate ppl talking as if they are a know-it-all, and have the answers that i need when they do not, necessarily. (i need to add this last word in this sentence, because they MIGHT have the answer that i need)

Wanting something truly and going hard after it, without losing your hope is a skill, not everybody posses. But the person who believes in himself and his hard work will eventually get there. I am currently a Junior in college and am looking for internships. If I don't get any for the summer of 2018, and most companies require one go back to school after the internship is over, that means this is my last chance to apply for internships because my summer of 2019 will be AFTER graduating? What advice do you have for me and any others in this situation?

    Thanks for these amazing tips. You and I have many things in common. I am a stat major and have worked in Japan,
    I have 25 years of experience in IT. I ventured out running Japanese restaurant which I failed miserably. Now trying to go back to IT and having F difficult time.
