RIDERverse _ you have to average 3 viewers for a month with so many days and hours streamed for a single month. I actually switched to FB Gaming way better and not as saturated with better discoverability.
RIDERverse _ best tips I can say for starting is just ask some friends and family to watch. Play with people you know get used to talking to an empty chat. It is a journey and start it as a hobby don’t burn yourself out. Have fun watch back you vods and see what you like and don’t like and just build upon each stream.

This is the best informative video I've seen on console streaming. Too many encourage new streamers to invest in all the expensive equipment too early on when people forget that it's personality that is key and fancy equipment means nothing if you don't have an inviting personality to offer to viewers.
I can personally say that watching your videos have helped grow my channel tremendously! When I first started watching I only had 15 followers. Less than three months later, I’m at 431 followers and 9 subs. Thank you for the tips and tricks. I stream off console without obs, but that’s coming soon.
Just what I needed! I'm trying to find ways to make me stand out as a small PS4 streamer. Thanks for motivating me! I've honestly felt a bit down on the fact that my console is limited when it comes to features.
Glad to help out - Dont get down on yourself.... Use this as motivation to go out there and kick ass.... Will you have to work harder than the rest? YES!!!.... But since you are willing to do it you will achieve great things 💪
I am a console gamer myself. I know I don't have the fancy equipment and I've been over my head over getting the better stuff instead of the stuff I have already, but I'll definitely work hard to achieve that goal and I learned that you can always start small then upgrade time to time
Have to start somewhere, I started on console (ps4) eventually got a laptop then I used remote play so was able to get overlays, then later on I got a capture card , and now currently have custom overlays , :) (this is over a 4 year period)

8:10 seriously. I hate when there's kids screaming and tons of people chaotically talking. I would say also if you don't talk at all on your stream, I leave. Or if your music is crazy loud and I can barely hear you... I leave
Since you mentioned it, I think a Streamlabs Chatbot video would be amazing! Maybe a list of cool things we can do with it or a tutorial on the most important features :D Great video as always
Thx for this. Been stuck at around 150 subs for months now. I'm not trying to monetize but growth is nice to see. I'll try a few of your suggestions. 🔥
Just got back into streaming. And I will say this is a great starter video. I stream from my xbox S. Which now has streamlabs console. You can slap together a simple and fun overlay. Just because a stream is fancy. Doesn't mean you will enjoy that stream. In 4 months. 3 months of affiliate ship. Building a community and networking. Investing the time and a little money. You can slowly grow your brand. Could go on all day. But non the less. This gentleman has great starter tips. Get out what you put in. This video may be 5 years old but it holds up. And will til the end of how to create and start making content. Hats off to you for giving the knowledge so many people keep in a locked vault.
Thank you so much for your videos man you’ve helped me out so much! I just started Twitch a couple of weeks ago through my PS4’s broadcasting settings alone and your videos have helped so much. Got my first donation today, feels so sick!
Id really like if you could do a bot tutorial it would be helpful i honestly get confused with bots alot and thank you for the console video man its where i stream from and this is helpful Ps. There is a way we can get overlays (on ps4) if you have good internet if you dont have a capture card you use the remote play and run it threw obs there are videos out there but id love for you to take a look and explain it if you dont mind you do a great job at explaining stuff and have a clean and great speaking voice
BAKER jordan Glad I could help. Is there a certain bot you are interested in? - You can only do overlays on console if you have a capture card that goes to your PC - Other than that your are limited by the console app.
Just started streaming about a month ago watched almost all these videos and as a console streamer these helped a lot, hit affiliate about 2 weeks in and today hit over 1,000 total views on my stream! Thank you for all the help and great advice. Only way to go is up from here
@Payton Kiesling congrats on getting affiliated! I was wondering what the best tip to use to help your channel grow. Also what game do you stream because I find it kind of hard to grow off big games like modern warfare and rainbow.
This came out on my birthday last year! Now I'm doing my best to do exactly what you highlighted here in this video. thank you for taking the time to make this content. it got me out of my funk and made me proactive about streaming on my console! jotting down notes and getting psyched to try again!
Great video! I’m new to streaming it’s been about a month now. I don’t have a lot of viewers at the moment and some of your tips are very helpful, especially since I’m trying to bring people in. There were things in this video that I did not consider. Again, thanks for a great video.
I’ve been looking for a video like this as I stream on my PS4. I get discouraged often and I stop sometimes. I don’t want to “sell” my videos to the audience because I believe they are more than sheep. So every time for streaming I take notes and practice what’s taught. Thanks for this information!
Thanks for the tips, just decided today that i would share my experiences on twitch. Its a work in progress, iam sure going to use your tips man, thanks again. Greetings from the Netherlands.

Hi personally I can never really get anybody on my stream, otherwise I really liked the tip about the Comment bot. Great video do you have any other tips for ps4 streamers
I stream consistently and literally nobody comes to watch my vids. Every 4 or 5 streams I get only one viewer for only minutes. I play Battle Royale games, Cod Games, and Battlefield Games. Stream hours 1-4hrs. I'm not Toxic. I'm mature even though Im 12. And also a TRUE GAMER.

Could you point me in the right direction in-regards of console to capture card set up? I'm am saving up but dont really know where to start, aside from getting a good internet connection set up. Also, don't wanna blow too much cash on a gaming pc. Since I won't really be using it to game just capture video. Much love. Appreciate ur videos. Very insightful.
NP - I recommend the Elgato Capture Card ( amzn.to/2QIPiNW ) its easy to use, basically plug 'n play, Works great and is affordable.... I use one. Give that a look and see if it will feel your needs 💪
Thanks for replying to fast! What about pc/laptop? What would you recommend in that regards, or article you can point me to? I'm literally only using it to capture and run overlays and stuff.
I think starting with friends is a great way to grow. I told my friend about my stream and they have told other people that I dont know and they also link me to other places.
I stream from console. I recently purchased a blue snowball mic to stream with, but the problem is the snowball picks up the noise from my PlayStation’s fan. This really makes the audio poor. Does the Logitech G430 headset you recommended in another comment cancel background noise? What do you use the headset for?
Sounds like you need something with great noise canceling abilities - Try looks at the "Game One Headset" ( amzn.to/2Ef9DHP ) - Also if your PS4 is making that much noise it most likely needs to be cleaned out 💪
Hi Wild. Any advice for those who stream PSVR games using console only? There is no way to know if you have viewers or for your viewers to see you. PSVR are my favorite games to stream at the moment but I struggle getting views and I think it's because of the fisheye stream for VR games and me not having the whole pc with capture card and webcam. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Same here, I main psvr but also do some flat games and growth is pretty hard. Ill check out your Channel and sub, check out mine if you'd like and maybe we can even collab on some multiplayer games
Came here 2 years later as a just starting streamer, with a little bit of stuff in my head telling me I can't do it because I'm a console streamer but you gave me hope to grind harder and make it happen no matter what
Do you know if there's a way to mute myself in a party while still being able to talk to the stream? I'm on PS4 and obviously I can mute myself in the party, but the time that would take would be too long to do everytime someone subbed, donated, etc
Tough one - Some people dont mind it and for some others it turns them off. I personally think it is more harmful then good (unless your stream was centered around vaping and juices)
Wild4Games I do PS4 broadcasts... But when I later review them i can hear the vape going off which sounds like a SHHHHHHHHH -- I think you should put up a poll about vaping or smoking while on a 6hour stream -- curious what others think.
If I'm streaming a game, I'll mute my mic. If I'm doing anything IRL out at the vape shop or a park or something, my mic doesn't pick it up as well, thankfully. Muting the mic is the easiest solution to eliminating any unwanted noises for your viewers
Consistency is key, if you get just 5 viewers playing one game, stick to it, if you switch you can kiss those viewers goodbye. Stick with what works for now, or for the long run, but take it one game at a time

I know this is a late comment and you may not see it but I thank you for all the tips and help I jumped up to 35 followers in one night just using simple tips so thank you a lot
Seen and noted - Glad that I can help you grow :)
Wow that is a pretty big growth out of small channels
how.
8:10 seriously. I hate when there's kids screaming and tons of people chaotically talking.
I would say also if you don't talk at all on your stream, I leave. Or if your music is crazy loud and I can barely hear you... I leave
I am with ya on all point :)
And this is why I only stream when nobody’s around
I don't have any mic's
I'll literally be spending the rest of the weekend on your channel.
Thank-you so much for all the info~
✨🙏🏻✨
Thanks for the kind words - I am stoked that you find my content helpful 💪
It 2 years old this vid, but still useful, thanks man, literally the information I was looking for thanks
Glad it could still be helpful for you.
I’ve been on RUclips for almost a year and I’m about to expand and start streaming on Twitch too ‼️
Good luck on your streaming adventure buddy :)
Since you mentioned it, I think a Streamlabs Chatbot video would be amazing!
Maybe a list of cool things we can do with it or a tutorial on the most important features :D
Great video as always
I will add it to the list for you 💪
Thx for this. Been stuck at around 150 subs for months now. I'm not trying to monetize but growth is nice to see. I'll try a few of your suggestions. 🔥
I am glad that my videos can help you out - Let me know how it goes for you 💪
Just got back into streaming.
Thank you Wild4games all the tips are really helping me understand twitch and streaming in general!! 👍👍👍👍
I am glad that my videos are helping you out 💪
Thank you so much for your videos man you’ve helped me out so much! I just started Twitch a couple of weeks ago through my PS4’s broadcasting settings alone and your videos have helped so much. Got my first donation today, feels so sick!
Dude that is awesome congrats 💪
Id really like if you could do a bot tutorial it would be helpful i honestly get confused with bots alot and thank you for the console video man its where i stream from and this is helpful
Ps. There is a way we can get overlays (on ps4) if you have good internet if you dont have a capture card you use the remote play and run it threw obs there are videos out there but id love for you to take a look and explain it if you dont mind you do a great job at explaining stuff and have a clean and great speaking voice
Jake Moulds Is there a certain bot you are more interested in?
BAKER jordan Glad I could help. Is there a certain bot you are interested in? - You can only do overlays on console if you have a capture card that goes to your PC - Other than that your are limited by the console app.
Id love to see a streamlabs video
I will add it to the list 💪
Wild4Games Could you do a tutorial on streamlabs
Just started streaming about a month ago watched almost all these videos and as a console streamer these helped a lot, hit affiliate about 2 weeks in and today hit over 1,000 total views on my stream! Thank you for all the help and great advice. Only way to go is up from here
@Payton Kiesling congrats on getting affiliated! I was wondering what the best tip to use to help your channel grow. Also what game do you stream because I find it kind of hard to grow off big games like modern warfare and rainbow.
what’s your twitch
Can you please do a video on console to elgato tips
I will see what I can whip-up for ya in a future video 💪
Thx for the help starting to be active on stream and you help me look much more "professional"
I am glad that me videos are helping you out - Happy Streaming Buddy 💪
I want to be famous and just give someone positive vibes out their!
I haven't got my positive vibes yet... WHAT ABOUT ME???
Don’t we all. I want to joke with all my viewers and actually get viewers instead of 20 bots 😂
Why you gutta be famous to give positive vibes?
Quick tip take TTv out of your namd
I am kinda of wanting fame to some extent too
Listened to these tips almost two years later and it’s helping out a lot. Thank you
This came out on my birthday last year! Now I'm doing my best to do exactly what you highlighted here in this video. thank you for taking the time to make this content. it got me out of my funk and made me proactive about streaming on my console! jotting down notes and getting psyched to try again!
I am glad I can make a video to help you out 💪
Great video! I’m new to streaming it’s been about a month now. I don’t have a lot of viewers at the moment and some of your tips are very helpful, especially since I’m trying to bring people in. There were things in this video that I did not consider. Again, thanks for a great video.
I am glad that my video could help you out :)
Great advice! I’m a new streamer/ RUclipsr and I’ve taken note on everything you said. I personally thank you.
I am glad that I can help you out :)
I’ve been looking for a video like this as I stream on my PS4. I get discouraged often and I stop sometimes. I don’t want to “sell” my videos to the audience because I believe they are more than sheep. So every time for streaming I take notes and practice what’s taught. Thanks for this information!
Thanks for watching!
Same here ! They are not sheep, but at the same time we are not cattle lol
Thanks for the tips, just decided today that i would share my experiences on twitch. Its a work in progress, iam sure going to use your tips man, thanks again. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Glad I could help you out 💪
Bob Ross fan I see! Love it! Could u imagine a Bob Ross live twitch stream with him teaching painting 🖼 🧑🎨
That would be cool! I've been a Bob Ross fan for a long time. I even have another channel for my art videos if you are interested.
ruclips.net/channel/UCJ0nGU-oZthfagTyVVXiVQA
I been watching all your videos dude you gave me more confidence!! thank you Wild!
Glad to help you out buddy 💪
As a Console streamer it is satisfying to find a video like this with Bob Ross funko pops in the intro when I just received one a few day's ago, now, I'll watch the rest of the video.
Ha ha ha - Hell ya buddy. Glad it could be helpful.
I am a huge BR fan and do painting as a side hustle ( plus I live stream it ) - If you are interested you can check it out on my other channel: ruclips.net/user/wildcreates
My God the art in the background is so beautiful 😊I love art sorry hahah great video btw thank you
Thanks buddy - I painted most of what you see 💪
I’m getting a PS4 for my birthday this year (November 2) and I’m planning on starting to stream on Twitch after I get used to the controls. And I am getting the headset and other things I need for Christmas. I really hope I can at least get a few fans though.😫🖤
Create Fun and Engaging content and you will buddy :)
Dude! Just made Affiliate thanks to your awesomely informative vids. Thanks!!!
That is super awesome bro - I am so stoked for you - Keep it going 💪
i just started streaming these tips helped me gain 10 viewers on my stream thanks so much
Happy to hear that!
Me: streams*
My family: allow us to introduce us
I feel your pain. Maybe you could talk to them and explain the situation?
@@Wild4 yeah but my little 4 year old brother wont listen lol
"Quick and easy to do, only costs a couple bucks" clearly hasnt seen a poor person house😂😂😂 my walls will come crashing down
Better yet I live in an apartment can't really put holes in the walls lol
I’ve never thought of streaming but I just started and got affiliate in a week🙂! I watched your videos a while back so ty
Dude that is awesome - Way to go. Proud of you!
WHAAAAT HOWWWW
Thank you these tips are helpful I didn’t think about the notifications for when someone subs lol
Glad it helped thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot. Totally took all your advice. I’m just getting started on twitch as of yesterday. So I took the day to not rush things and completely fill in my account with as much information as I could. I know I have a lot of growing to do but your video was a great help from ground 0. I’ll definitely be checking out more content from you and I’ll check out your twitch. I’ll be needing followers so don’t forget to follow me on twitch
Hi personally I can never really get anybody on my stream, otherwise I really liked the tip about the Comment bot. Great video do you have any other tips for ps4 streamers
I have some more coming out soon 💪
@@Wild4 alright thanks
What is your stream name?
@@daniellinares517 Check me out, OrbitalDiabetes. I play apex and I'm pretty damn good haha. Would love to have u on the stream!

It’s always been my dream to be a streamer however I cannot afford a PC. TYSM for making this video.
No worries!
OH LETS GET IT THIS WHAT I NEED
Sdg_lydian on twitch btw lol
Hope that the video helps you out 💪
do a video on nightbot
I will add it to the list - Thanks for the comment 💪
@@Wild4 night bot on console
U give me hope to make my dream true
Glad to help out!
You just put my vision of streaming into another level thanks
He really said ' stand out amongst the masses' when a million people saw this lol
You have to do what you can to separate yourself from the pack. Thanks for watching!
KingSlayr Thanks for the comment - If you are interested in channel reviews and break downs or feedback on your channel. You should check out my stream Coaching ( ruclips.net/video/nsbwXYOk3cY/видео.html ) Keep Crushing it 💪
Wait until you’re a little older buddy. Viewers tend to gravitate towards older streamers due to maturity and natural professionalism 🤷♂️
I can give you a shoutout man 👌
@@JACKD1OR ok thanks bro
@@JACKD1OR do you know what ur username for twitch is?
I love your tips I keep learning more I'm a console streamer myself and I keep applying your tips and they work really good
Glad to hear! Thanks for sharing!
Does twitch send out a notification to your friends list saying you started a broadcast?? I dont want some my friends to know lol
Skrt Skrter i dont think so
They will get notified if you select them to get notified when you are about to go live
Loool Im wondering the same I get anxiety when a friend joins because how nervouse I get 🤣🤣
You'll have the broadcast symbol next to your name and thats about it
But how do you get the first viewers? I never get one viewer at all.
What my how to grow videos - Those should help you out 💪
I think starting with friends is a great way to grow. I told my friend about my stream and they have told other people that I dont know and they also link me to other places.
You can join communities on the consoles to help
Dude stand out get ur friends to watch
Timo 🔴Check me out. I’m a small Fortnite streamer looking to colab with other streamers >> ruclips.net/channel/UCe-1UKpvLID6gvhDCdlw94g
I stream on ps4 and use a blue yeti and plug my headset into the yeti
Yeti is a good mic 💪
This helped so much. Thanks :)
I stream from console. I recently purchased a blue snowball mic to stream with, but the problem is the snowball picks up the noise from my PlayStation’s fan. This really makes the audio poor. Does the Logitech G430 headset you recommended in another comment cancel background noise? What do you use the headset for?
Sounds like you need something with great noise canceling abilities - Try looks at the "Game One Headset" ( amzn.to/2Ef9DHP ) - Also if your PS4 is making that much noise it most likely needs to be cleaned out 💪
Wild4Games 😂 I just gave it a good cleaning! I think the ole gal is about to crap out on me. Thanks for the tip, friend!
also, can you do a video about adding chatbot for console streamers?
yes please. wild4games please do that video.
I have added it to the list 💪
thanks.
Thanks.
That is a very tough one for sure - Let me sit and ponder this one and see what I can come up with to help you 💪
@@Wild4 Thank you!
Same here, I main psvr but also do some flat games and growth is pretty hard. Ill check out your Channel and sub, check out mine if you'd like and maybe we can even collab on some multiplayer games
@@AevynRain definitely down to collab, I'll sub and check out your channel as well.
psn - AstralDeity
Came here 2 years later as a just starting streamer, with a little bit of stuff in my head telling me I can't do it because I'm a console streamer but you gave me hope to grind harder and make it happen no matter what
My boy got the Bob Ross painting in the back, legit!
I do like to do my oil paintings :)
Do you have a video about streaming from console to a capture card?
Not yet but I will have vids like that coming out next month - Stay Tuned.
I've been streaming on console and you gave me some great tips!
I just wish i could play music 😂
same dude
Bro the mf'n GOAT of streaming boss. I salute 🫡
Do you know if there's a way to mute myself in a party while still being able to talk to the stream? I'm on PS4 and obviously I can mute myself in the party, but the time that would take would be too long to do everytime someone subbed, donated, etc
I recommend not having other people in your party when you stream they can alienate the chat and prevent you from noticing comments when they come in.
Those paintings behind are beautiful. Where can I get them?
I sell them online and live on twitch - But I am pretty much sold out at the moment!
What do you think about vaping while on camera or mic?
Tough one - Some people dont mind it and for some others it turns them off. I personally think it is more harmful then good (unless your stream was centered around vaping and juices)
Wild4Games I do PS4 broadcasts... But when I later review them i can hear the vape going off which sounds like a SHHHHHHHHH -- I think you should put up a poll about vaping or smoking while on a 6hour stream -- curious what others think.
Hate it along with slurping drinks and stuffing food in the face.
Lmao
If I'm streaming a game, I'll mute my mic. If I'm doing anything IRL out at the vape shop or a park or something, my mic doesn't pick it up as well, thankfully. Muting the mic is the easiest solution to eliminating any unwanted noises for your viewers
Consistency is key, if you get just 5 viewers playing one game, stick to it, if you switch you can kiss those viewers goodbye. Stick with what works for now, or for the long run, but take it one game at a time
