Thank you so much for this video Wild. I started via PS4 mainline streaming, and I can't stress enough how nice and simple it can be to just pop open the console and play. Your assessment of a wired connection is spot on. For a while, I was dropping stream connection at least 1-2 times per stream on the console. But a wired connection allowed me to get right back on within seconds. I will say though, unless you get a good headset (nice recommendation on the KOTION EACH), a microphone will give you less "tinny" noise. I prefer mics over headsets all day. The benefit though is the ease of use. Microphones can take a while to setup, so a headset is nice to plug and play with consoles. Anyway; thank you so much for doing videos like this. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing console streaming, and I was able to learn cool stuff like the profile creation and cross-promotion. I would love to see more of it. Keep rocking the videos!
If you could please make a video for us console streamers that stream through a capture card? On streamlabs how can we have music in our streams, or how can we have a “stream starting soon” screen? Hopefully this all made sense lol

I’ve been looking for a video like this as I stream on my PS4. I get discouraged often and I stop sometimes. I don’t want to “sell” my videos to the audience because I believe they are more than sheep. So every time for streaming I take notes and practice what’s taught. Thanks for this information!
I remember one time being part of a PlayStation Party during a Twitch stream and someone told the streamer and I quote "Shut up, I'm talking right now" well that guy was immediately banned from the PlayStation party (not from the Twitch Chat), and has not been allowed on the PlayStation party for a long time. So talking over people is not a good idea but talking over the streamer and telling them to shut up because you're talking is a HUGE NO-NO
Hi personally I can never really get anybody on my stream, otherwise I really liked the tip about the Comment bot. Great video do you have any other tips for ps4 streamers
Today was my first stream on twitch. Vibed with my small group and told some jokes. I forgot to save my stream but it was a successful intro to twitch streaming. Thanks for the info btw!
Thanks a lot. Totally took all your advice. I’m just getting started on twitch as of yesterday. So I took the day to not rush things and completely fill in my account with as much information as I could. I know I have a lot of growing to do but your video was a great help from ground 0. I’ll definitely be checking out more content from you and I’ll check out your twitch. I’ll be needing followers so don’t forget to follow me on twitch
one big hint every person should know (which is kind of a no brainer but still) the influence you bring out onto youtube or twitch etc, that influence is what you attract, so if you are polite you attract polite people and so on, keep that in mind
Came here 2 years later as a just starting streamer, with a little bit of stuff in my head telling me I can't do it because I'm a console streamer but you gave me hope to grind harder and make it happen no matter what
Do you know if there's a way to mute myself in a party while still being able to talk to the stream? I'm on PS4 and obviously I can mute myself in the party, but the time that would take would be too long to do everytime someone subbed, donated, etc
I watch a big streamer who used to speak Facebook only well now he has gone to RUclips TikTok and twitch and he’s literally only on console. He does some PC gaming, but he does a lot of console gaming as well and he’s literally been almost number one on twitch this past month and the month before he just startedstreaming so it can happen. Yes, he had a huge millions of subscribers but work hard. You’ll get there. He’s only been doing it since 2015. That’s not that long to be honest.
I recently started to stream. Does anyone know how I can switch to talking to my teammates to talking to the stream without teammates hearing me? (I'm streaming directly from Xbox)
Consistency is key, if you get just 5 viewers playing one game, stick to it, if you switch you can kiss those viewers goodbye. Stick with what works for now, or for the long run, but take it one game at a time
It’s so hard to get notice on RUclips every time I stream I get no views the only view is me reading chart but there’s no point cause there’s no one there
Try to always be talking incase someone stops by. If there is nothing to read in the chat then try describing what you are doing or what your plans are.
Could you point me in the right direction in-regards of console to capture card set up? I'm am saving up but dont really know where to start, aside from getting a good internet connection set up. Also, don't wanna blow too much cash on a gaming pc. Since I won't really be using it to game just capture video. Much love. Appreciate ur videos. Very insightful.
NP - I recommend the Elgato Capture Card ( amzn.to/2QIPiNW ) its easy to use, basically plug 'n play, Works great and is affordable.... I use one. Give that a look and see if it will feel your needs 💪
Thanks for replying to fast! What about pc/laptop? What would you recommend in that regards, or article you can point me to? I'm literally only using it to capture and run overlays and stuff.
If you sign up to twitch and you have an Xbox account and live on Xbox, you can start streaming right away. You don’t need a headset unless you want to be communicating, but it’s good to have a headset. You don’t need a WebCam unless you want your face being shown but if you can’t afford it right off the bat, you can always start with just a cheap headset and then as you growcan start showing your face. There’s a lot of people that are big and they never show their face. There’s a lot of people that are big that never communicate.
Hi Wild. Any advice for those who stream PSVR games using console only? There is no way to know if you have viewers or for your viewers to see you. PSVR are my favorite games to stream at the moment but I struggle getting views and I think it's because of the fisheye stream for VR games and me not having the whole pc with capture card and webcam. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Same here, I main psvr but also do some flat games and growth is pretty hard. Ill check out your Channel and sub, check out mine if you'd like and maybe we can even collab on some multiplayer games
Tough one - Some people dont mind it and for some others it turns them off. I personally think it is more harmful then good (unless your stream was centered around vaping and juices)
Wild4Games I do PS4 broadcasts... But when I later review them i can hear the vape going off which sounds like a SHHHHHHHHH -- I think you should put up a poll about vaping or smoking while on a 6hour stream -- curious what others think.
If I'm streaming a game, I'll mute my mic. If I'm doing anything IRL out at the vape shop or a park or something, my mic doesn't pick it up as well, thankfully. Muting the mic is the easiest solution to eliminating any unwanted noises for your viewers
Hey Wild, I know this is a really old video first off, but thankyou for posting something like this. I'm brand new to the content creator scene and a big reason I've put it off was just not knowing how to start out. I've been live a couple times on Twitch but with your tips taken into account, hopefully ill be able to hit you up someday I achieve a following ;) Much love my doode, great vid.
I just started streaming from my PS4 not long ago. I was affraid no one is gonna watch me because I didn't have many subscribers but surprisingly it was such an awesome experience and I gained a lot of subs and met so many good people.😊
I started streaming this week on my PS4. It’s going pretty well as I have gained 7followers. I also spent most of my time trying to set up Streamlabs but at least I now know that that is not possible. Thanks.

I have some more coming out soon 💪
@@Wild4 alright thanks
What is your stream name?
@@daniellinares517 Check me out, OrbitalDiabetes. I play apex and I'm pretty damn good haha. Would love to have u on the stream!
I NEEDED this, thanks!
Glad to help out 💪
He really said ' stand out amongst the masses' when a million people saw this lol
You have to do what you can to separate yourself from the pack. Thanks for watching!
Today was my first stream on twitch. Vibed with my small group and told some jokes. I forgot to save my stream but it was a successful intro to twitch streaming. Thanks for the info btw!
Nice work!
If ur seeing this dont give up we are almost got through this silly ass pandemic and i love u
You got this :)
Thank you these tips are helpful I didn’t think about the notifications for when someone subs lol
Glad it helped thanks for watching!
thx a bunch it really helped me and inspired me to stream more I liked the vid subed and turned on post notifications on
Glad I could help 💪

I will add it to the list - Thanks for the comment 💪
@@Wild4 night bot on console
Hard to be quiet when your family scream across the whole house for no reason.
OH LETS GET IT THIS WHAT I NEED
Sdg_lydian on twitch btw lol
Hope that the video helps you out 💪
one big hint every person should know (which is kind of a no brainer but still) the influence you bring out onto youtube or twitch etc, that influence is what you attract, so if you are polite you attract polite people and so on, keep that in mind
Good tip thanks for sharing!
@@Wild4 i’m a small channel but still good to know, you know
"Or mixer"
This didn't age well.
Rip Mixer
Came here 2 years later as a just starting streamer, with a little bit of stuff in my head telling me I can't do it because I'm a console streamer but you gave me hope to grind harder and make it happen no matter what
Question when I click in your description for the Ethernet cable it doesn’t show up??
I updated the link now ( amzn.to/2t2PLjo ) Thanks for letting me know 💪
My boy got the Bob Ross painting in the back, legit!
I do like to do my oil paintings :)
Do you know if there's a way to mute myself in a party while still being able to talk to the stream? I'm on PS4 and obviously I can mute myself in the party, but the time that would take would be too long to do everytime someone subbed, donated, etc
I recommend not having other people in your party when you stream they can alienate the chat and prevent you from noticing comments when they come in.
I'm not sure that you can do both without mutine/unmuting all your teammates every time.
Question, how do I get more engaged with my subscribers and have more viewers.
I will have more videos coming out on this soon - so stay tuned
Wild4Games I don’t get you you reply to comments by not actually replying to them
Listened to these tips almost two years later and it’s helping out a lot. Thank you
Could you point me in the right direction in-regards of console to capture card set up?
Do you have a video about streaming from console to a capture card?
Not yet but I will have vids like that coming out next month - Stay Tuned.
Thankyou for these great tips! I never thought of mentioning I stream on twitch on my ps4 profile
You would be surprised at how many people find you through it
Hey Wild! Thank you SO much for this video since I am a new LIVE streamer in the PS4, love your videos! Thank you for helping a ton!
I mostly stream on youtube but thats ok
Most of the tips on my channel will still apply to help ya :)
@@Wild4 :D
i have almost nothing right now, just a ps4, some games, and a voice. i cant wait to grow
Thanks.
That is a very tough one for sure - Let me sit and ponder this one and see what I can come up with to help you 💪
@@Wild4 Thank you!
Same here, I main psvr but also do some flat games and growth is pretty hard. Ill check out your Channel and sub, check out mine if you'd like and maybe we can even collab on some multiplayer games
@@LordTaryn definitely down to collab, I'll sub and check out your channel as well.
psn - AstralDeity
What do you think about vaping while on camera or mic?
Tough one - Some people dont mind it and for some others it turns them off. I personally think it is more harmful then good (unless your stream was centered around vaping and juices)
Wild4Games I do PS4 broadcasts... But when I later review them i can hear the vape going off which sounds like a SHHHHHHHHH -- I think you should put up a poll about vaping or smoking while on a 6hour stream -- curious what others think.
Hate it along with slurping drinks and stuffing food in the face.
Lmao
I am glad that my videos can help you out buddy.
Be sure to sub for more awesome videos.
I am starting an xbox channel, any games to suggest
Start with what you own and that you can play with others online 💪
Fortnite, call of duty, pubg, or gta5. It will get you viewers fast and then you can switch to any other game
Terraria
Whatever’s popular. As of right now, try Fortnite: Battle Royale or Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
How do you set up a bot on console
I will make a video on it soon - Hit that Sub buttons so you dont miss it 💪

Starting up streaming from my ps4. Thanks for this video !
I just started streaming from my PS4 not long ago. I was affraid no one is gonna watch me because I didn't have many subscribers but surprisingly it was such an awesome experience and I gained a lot of subs and met so many good people.😊
That's what it's all about! Thanks for watching and for sharing!
@@Wild4 Thanks for being awesome and help all of us streamers out there 😎🤙
I started streaming this week on my PS4. It’s going pretty well as I have gained 7followers. I also spent most of my time trying to set up Streamlabs but at least I now know that that is not possible. Thanks.
Do you have cams?
What a great video! Straight to the point and nothing that annoys me. I’ll definitely be watching more of your videos. I’m just starting to stream from my PS4 and I’m eager to learn more.
