When you said the intrepid botanist is exploring and sketching- made me think of my own yard space. Due to our damp and overcast weather- fungi are popping up in all shapes, colors and sizes. Thought it would kinda of different to record natures changes with my stitching. I hope I can capture the essence of where I live in the country
Just been given a lot of these fabric from a 87 year old neighbour. The quality of her quilts and stitch pieces is on another level. She wanted to pass the fabric to be used from stash se will never use.

I have just got mine, been in hospital for a week after a heart attack and I have arrived home to my copy, from books please second hand , I am behind on all my projects , and so want that pattern, I have missed all my wonderful fellow stitches, wish I could be down under where you all are , little grey England , i as going to Paris in October as my big sister lives there, but she not into material like me. Thank you great to be back to watch your lovey fingers. Xx

Jennifer Clouston’s videos are fab too, in case you haven’t seen any of them. Enjoy Paris, maybe you will be able to find a back street , second hand shop , you never know what you may find. I spent 10 days in Amsterdam some years ago and the back street second hand shops are to die for. And if you find a local Flea Market you will love thedifferent fabric vendors. i made my snip/stitch journal yesterday... put decoration on my tabs but spaced out and they ended up stitched together which i only discovered when i went to glue them on...oh no! but i was able to remove enough of the stitches to glue them onto the covers and the decorations were just appliqued so i was able to glue the edges back down... but i laughed... are you planning to do multiple snips on each page?
Corrine, I have tried and tried to contact Jennifer Coulston about her pattern for her sewing caddy to no avail each time. Is there another avenue to ordering that pattern? I would so like to make it. Thank you for all your beautiful work that you share with us .
No I don’t.. I just slice down where the pages met the covers.. trying not to slice the spine. The pages come out in one lump. If they are old you may be able to pull them out! .. if the spine breaks.. not to worry create your own like I did in the video! I really only use the covers!
Sorry to say Corrine but if you check the Craft Fair pamphlet again, Jennifer’s class is 10.35-3.45… it’s a 5 hour class. I went to sign up as you had said last week there were 2 classes.. however I’ve never been to this craft show and I’m interested in looking through the whole area and wouldn’t be able to do so as the craft show is 10-4…so I’ll need to give Jennifer’s class a miss unfortunately 😓😓😓

No sure of the weight.. I have then stuff too.. add a backing or double it.. you need thickness to stabilise your work!
