I have missed you so much Jennifer and glad you feel better. Enjoy your week teaching. Your linens and stitching are gorgeous in this fabric roll. Hope you show us more of it all rolled out. Love your videos just as they are. Don’t stress!
I’m so glad you are feeling better. That COVID is nasty. It kicks your butt. I was three months before I felt normal again ! I enjoyed the video so much. You make everything look so easy!
I am so sorry you were sick. I got Covid once. I didn't get the normal pains with Covid. I got a horrible back and leg aches. I love your stitching videos. They are like a good friend dropping by to chat. I drop everything and watch. I love them. Thank you.
Hi Jennifer, I’m stitching on a panel for the basket from your book. three of the panels have a crazy patchwork design. next I will stitch the embroidery on to the panels. I’m enjoying your books so far, Though I need to spend more time on stitching. The videos can be sorted by date and any viewer can do that easily. Don’t bother with numbering them it takes the fluidity and enjoyment of stitching away by getting too technical. I enjoy watching you stitch when the mood takes you. cheers Anita from Tweed heads 🧵🪡
Thank you Jennifer for your video and company today. I am so sorry you were poorly, just when you think it's all over turns out it's not. Love these little snippets sitting with you in your lovely garden in sun and birds. Such a peaceful ten minutes . I watch Corrine and she numbers hers due to the array of different projects. We just sit with you as friends would for a stitching coffee break. I don't feel that numbers are necessary for your videos. I hope you continue to feel better my goodness what a start you have had this year, you have had your three now, two eyes and covid, all done.
I sure have had a year, Carol, but not as bad as others. I am pleased that you agree with the numbering - it’s just not what I set out to do in my videos. Thanks for your support. XxX
I love your snippets just as they are and the best thing about YT is that we can slow down the pace and repeat as many times as we need to. Thank you so much for sharing.
Don't stress yourself about trying to number and sequence your videos. I love the serendipity of your daily stitching. I'm so happy you have recovered from covid and are well enough to return to your stitching.
I'm glad you're on the mend. Please take care of yourself - Covid knocks you for six and can reoccur weeks afterwards! Another aspiration snippet - so relaxing hearing the birds and your wonderful voice, creating beautiful art x, you're an amazing talented lady- thank you for sharing your gift (can't wait for new book!).
Well a week after my surgery I am back stiching. Like an addict I watch you stich along I just HAD to trie😅. Just one little twig, one little flower, some little thorns while listening to your charming voice and those lovely birds (happend to love crows
I am so happy to see you, I am glad you are on the mends. Covid stinks it takes a while to feel better. I enjoy your videos the way they are. TFS and take care.🌴💕
I just watched this for a second time because I loved it sooooo much. I’m starting to watch many of them for a second time. 💕. Where do you get the wooden spools at? Is there a video on how to set this project up? 💕💕
Hi Deb, unfortunately, my channel is a bit different in that I simply do what I feel like on the day. I started this channel to make a type of journal of my daily stitching projects. But because I am a teacher it has kind of morphed into a teaching channel which is not what I set out to do. So, it’s all a little random but I do work intuitively and these videos do not follow any sort of structure. Thank you so much for your comment. Jenny C
🤗So happy to see you pop up on my screen this afternoon and so pleased you have recovered from Covid - thought it might have been the injured finger. Such a treat to watch you embroidering your scroll, it’s beautiful and made me so happy I took time to sort out the necessary to start mine today! Thank you as always for the video and looking forward eagerly to get your new book which is scheduled for delivery end of July in the UK. ❤
Always a treat to spend time with you. 😊 I like your channel just like it is…..very refreshing. 💖 PS I’ve pre-ordered your new book and can hardly wait for it to arrive…about another month. 💖💖💖
So sorry to hear you are ill. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Missed your embroidery lessons. You are so very talented. Get well and get some rest .
Speaking about organized RUclips videos - I PREFER your UN-numbered way of sharing. It feels free and intuitive, like your stitching seems to me. I plan and organize only as much as I need to in order to achieve my goal and the look I want. ❤️
So glad to see you back. Sorry to hear you've been unwell. I love your videos! watching you stitch with the beautiful birdsong in the background is just lovely.
Dear Jennifer, I love your embroidery work and the way you present it on RUclips is very clear for beginners as well as advanced. I am a Mexican/American multidisciplinary artist, been embroidering since de pandemic. I´ve been incorporating embroidery with mix media and textiles. What I admire about your videos, they show a well-cared for composition and the stitches are clear. Thank you for taking the time to show us your art, I wish I was closer to you and had the privilege of attending a class with you. Take care and wish you the best.
Glad you are feeling better, missed you and all your beautiful stitches. I really like all your pincushions, I’ve copied a few of yours , thanks for your inspiration. 🪡🧵♥️
Welcome back.. sure missed your videos…Glad you are feeling better, I have been sick for a few weeks so I can commiserate with you.. I’m better now too!
Good to have you back and very glad you are feeling better. Currently i am stitching your feathered twig stitch on a zipper pouch. Btw your videos are very enjoyable so thank you. Stay well & take care ❤
Lovely to see your video pop up again and that you are over covid. I am currently working on an embroidered wool jacket. I have finished the embroidery and machine stitched the coat now doing the lining and stitching that together. Going to see my children as well in Sydney soon so I needed a jacket and decided to make my own wool jacket. Your little scroll stitching is so beautiful! Looking forward to your new book too. You are going to be very busy enjoy your workshop with the lovely ladies.
Hi Jen sorry to hear you have been ill, glad you are feeling better. Steve has successfully had his surgery and we are back home, now for recovery mode, he is doing really well and is coping with my driving 😊 just. Take care and enjoy your retreat xxx
Sorry to hear that you were ill while you were away. - what a pity that it cut down on quality time with them. But good to see that you are on the mend. I would love to see you show us your scrolls sometime. They look amazing.
I feel for you. Hubby and I got our first dose of Covid in February, not nice at all. I’ve been working on lots of things, but this second I’m basting 1” hexagons, for a large quilt that will one day eventuate.
So happy you got over covid so well! I am working on a full size, Tshirt quilt made out of loads of jersey logos and prize patches. I also have a journal cover started. Then, I have plans to make a stationary box following Roxys Journal of Stitchery prompt for this month. I seem to be more motivated when I am making useful items for gifts. I don't know why, but when I just sit down to stitch with no end purpose in mind, I'm not very motivated. Oh! I am also working on a double wedding ring quilt for my son's wedding, this summer. So glad to have you back and I cant wait to receive your new book!
Welcome back. Ope you continue to feel better and grow stronger. I love watching your videos. You have inspired me so much. I feel so much more confident to just do my own thing.
Glad you are feeling better and continued moving forwards. Love your videos just as they are plus she can always check the date to see what is the latest one.
hello... one of my subscribers told me to check out your books and your channel. I love your fabric roll and find it so interesting that you are working upside down, at least I think you are... without seeing the whole roll I can't be sure and then you turned it right side around! Thank you for sharing your work! I've subscribed! 💛
Welcome back.. I’m in a Fleur Woods course for the next three days @ Brisbane…that’s what I’m up too! Hope your full health returns quickly for you …enjoy your week! ❤
I am so relieved to hear what was keeping you from your routine stitching post. I checked several times every day and was praying for you. I am so glad to have you back. I love your inspiration and showing us how to let the thread and needle do their thing. It is very "freeing". My thoughts about the video numbering come from my own frustration in finding the sequence of videos for specific projects. I am currently stitching your hexagon bag. I have watched all the way through, but now as I am in process, I like to refer back to the stage where I am currently working. Therein is the challenge. I know there were side trails that you took through the whole bag making process. Maybe a suggestion would be to put special videos, like the bag, into a playlist. Thank you again for giving so much of yourself. I have preordered your new book and anxiously await it's arrival.
I'm glad you're feeling better. I've managed to dodge the dreaded COVID so far. (Touch wood). I've been working on a little crossstitch kit at the moment. My 1st one oddly enough, considering I'm in my mid-50s and have been sewing on one form or another since the age of 7.
So good to see you overcame that nasty Covid experience. Me too, never caught it. Hear lately about more cases again. Next week I'll be travelling overseas for the first time since 2020 and hope I won't get it. My host has to cancel me visiting her for 3 days since she was tested positive only yesterday. Well, live had other plans for me🤷🏼
Glad you are feeling better and are back on You Tube doing what you love to do!!! We missed you and hope you continue to get back to good health! Recently I have been stitching daily on very colorful Kaffe Fassett collaged fabrics in a composition that I created. Having lots of fun and enjoying the stitching so much!
Oh, my gosh!!! The different bird sounds! 'Funny and all kinds! Are you in Australia?☺ I thought I heard a Magpie😊. You'd said "not too many birds" (or something like that), but I hear a few -- especially the second half -- and every one is one we don't EVER have! It's a JOY! I hope that you get as much joy from stitching out there as that combination gives to me(us?). ...and I'm so very glad that you've shaken that nasty COVID. Stay well!

Hi there again. What is that gadget on your right thumb, a cutter of some kind? X
Yes, it’s a cutter - but I don’t think they are made anymore. Clover - ring cutter
Good morning Jenny, what fabric are you using for backing? Cheers Noni
Hi Noni, not sure what the fabric is, it’s from my stash. But it looks like it could be a very fine cross stitch linen. X
I don’t understand the benefit of numbering. Using the same key word title is more useful to me. Watching out of sequence is not as flummoxing as some might think. Whatever! It’s always good to see the stitching and hear the birds. Noisy buggers.💜💜💜
