there was a darkfic written by Magpiepony, and a reading of it by TheLostNarrorator (pls go check out the reading, itll make a lot more sense) a little summary is theres a drought in equestria and the apple family is in a little debt, so applejack goes to twilight for a potion to help her stay up to harvest zap apples. but, things dont turn out well when the potion doesn't wear off after 24 hours like it was supposed to. applejack breaks her legs trying to get her frustrations of the debt and filthy rich by bucking a tree, and the lack of sleep drives her insane causing her to kill other ponies. eventually, the get her cured but leave her in a cell to rot for the rest of her life. twilight also gaslights her saying that there wasnt any potion
