How Halo gets a remaster and multiple sequels but gears can’t even get a remastered trilogy is the biggest load of shit I’ve ever seen in my life I’m not saying halo is bad or anything. I just feel gears of war is on the same level when it comes to popularity.
you know, with the benefit of hindsight, Myrrah in the intro is still right with Humanity bringing the Locust upon them: even if they weren't made in a lab, her lover did steal away their daughter Raina; many would use that as a justifiable reason to go to war. Hell, it's what started the Trojan War

They tried to make it a recurring joke, but instead they turned the Carmines into the Waterfall family from Futurama. Anthony Carmine Gears 1: Killed by a sniper Benjamin Carmine Gears 2: killed in riftworm guts by being overrun Clayton Carmine Gears 3: still alive. Has messages on his chest armour saying “Keep your head down” and “ practice reloading” D Carmine Gears 4: only mentioned by name. He mans the gun turret at the Outsider camp in Act 1. After Reyna be heads Jinns droid, she shouts his name as an order to shoot down the helicopter. During the defend the door mission that follows, his watchtower is blown up. Unknown if he survives or not as never mentioned again. Addendum: in Gears 5 when you visit the village of the Riftworm Skeleton, one of the collectibles is Benjamins decayed helmet.
