Obviously there are some slight parallels between them and their older brothers with that relationship however despite their limitations (due to Barcode's age meaning their scenes played out not emphasising on anything that sexual between them), it was more about the feeling of a young man falling in love for the first time and navigating his feelings and the lost of trust he felt when he realised the betrayal from the person he care for. And the other side with Kim falling in love as well while trying to deny it for himself and for Chay's own good but having to acknowledge what he feel for Chay and how his wants to be with him. I think the way they wrote their love story even with their limited screen time was done believable well and authentic and organically. Jeff and Barcode performed as their characters so brilliantly that it was just easy to fall for them (well it was for me). They were the unexpected bonus for me in the series as I am one that absolute does love the main couple because they were the ones that drew me to watching the series which just that trailer and I'm so blooming glad and grateful that I got to view such an amazing, once in a lifetime BL series. I also hope that there is not only a 2nd series but they get much more screen time particularly as theirs is the only coupling that have not reunited out of the three couples. And I would love it even more if they had a side story spinoff with one or two episodes. All I know is it's weeks later after the end of the (1st) series and I still miss both sets of my KPs 💞😿💕

I didn’t watch all of Kinnporsche, but Jeff Satur is such a natural actor. He’s good in everything I’ve seen him in. If you haven’t seen Ingredients, watch it. It is amazing how real the relationship seems and that’s with 10-15 minute episodes! He’s going places for sure.

what i hated the most about this entire situation was the absence of porsche when his brother was heartbroken. kim was still more mature, but chay was a kid, he shouldnt have to go through all this alone. the writers did the brothers bond very dirty. at one point they said porsche did everything to give chay a good life on the other they made him absent on such important time.. i mean where did the text msgs about wik to porsche go? why was there no questions no conversations about it? porsche knew about kim, he would have flagged it instantly.. it just feels incredibly wrong
Porsche couldn't be with him at that time because he was facing his own affairs, and probably had no time to check on his brother, Porchay. And from what I've seen, Chay doesn't want to bother his brother because he loves him so much. He wants to be like Porsche who is strong and dependable.

Need i remind you what happened last time when Kinn and Tawan was there? Having Porsche as a new bodyguard without any background checks what so ever is sus af. Their father just wanted him immediately in there so ofc he had to do what he had to do to make sure that Porsche wasn't actually a threat. He DID end up falling in love with Chay, but just like Kinn, he's unable to express himself properly therefore he did it with ACTION instead of words. He literally SAVED Porchay after he was taken hostage after realizing that Tawan was still alive. Ofc we know that, but that should be proof enough that he does love him. And then here's the other thing: he found out that there's a lot of links regarding Chay/Porsche's family, specifically mother towards the main family. He didn't know if they were actually related or not, not to mention he didn't want Porchay to end up with that toxic environment (hence as to why he left and did his own thing) so it makes sense as to WHY he broke up with him. You're not thinking of the actual problems at hand that led Kim to do what he NEEDED to do. But in the end, he STILL proved that he loves him by saving him AGAIN from the guards of the minor family, saving him from doing drugs when entered college, took a look at all the dates he had with him after they got together and crying bc the things happened the way that they did, not to mention it was CHAY who was on his mind that helped him finish his song. HE LOVES HIM. How would you explain to your partner that 'I have a mafia family and my big brother is in charge of it all, oh, and we might be related' like WTF?! Sure it was messed up at first, but this is a MAFIA WORLD and he was JUST looking after for Kinn. As heartbreaking as their story turned out I think it had to be this way for now cause of barcode’s age but you definitely get the feeling kim fell in love just like chay he wouldn’t show so much care if he didn’t love chay, maybe they’ll get their redemption if this series continues but these two storyline was just as amazing as kinnporshe and I really hope they explore it more and bring those two back together to admit the love they know is there for each other it’d be a shame to let such a great storyline with so much amazing chemistry go to waste
Everyone is crying for Chay but i can understand Kim. It's easy to say i will protect you, but it's much harder when you don't even know whether what is gonna hurt the one you love others or you yourself. It's better to leave or take a break then stretching both ties
i watched till the end of the drama bcs of them, the warm fuzzy feeling i get everytime i see them plus how their moments lightened up the fucked up, action filled plot line is jst masterpiece. hoping they get more screen time next season kimporchay supremacy
Kim approached Ché because of Porsche and he's kinda investigating what happened to their parents, at first that was his only reason why he is sticking close to Ché but as he spends more time with him Kim realized that there's so much more beyond that. It's true Porchay liked Kim first, Porchay was the first one who followed Kim because he's a fan of Wik but Kim is the one who fell harder inlove with Ché. But what's really heartbreaking is that Ché was ready to commit but Kim is reluctant about it, he didn't want Porchay to enter his messed up world and drag him into chaos that's why when Ché asked him if he ever loved Porchay he chose not to confirm nor deny it leaving Ché heartbroken in the end. In the end, Kim tried to fix everything but Ché put up his walls changing everything about him. The song Kim send to Ché was kinda like his indirect confession to Ché saying "that everything will be okay just stay here with me" but Ché already put up his walls around his heart the love is still there but the pain is much more. In the end to all of this one thing is common for the both of them, they are both left brokenhearted 💔
People forget that they were both hurting but Kim is mature he knew how to control it and not show his true feelings and that why he build that wall between him chay to make it look like he didn't care but deep down he was suffocating 🥺.

This was so beautiful yet heart breaking! But i honestly believe that their open ending left room for them to get back together. First it was chay chasing after wik and kim fell for him but that was never the plan. And then when kim broke chays heart yet came to regret it, he became the one doing the chasing. First as the violent kim in the club and at yoks bar and it didn't do much for chay other then piss him off yet show him kim carea about his physical safety and then when kim sees that isnt enough he chases chay like chay did with him. Calling him even when chay doesn't pick up and then he writes him a personal song to confess he is sorry and loves him just like chay wrote kim a Love song and even though chay is still heartbroken he can't ignore this gesture. So i feel like future kim would keep trying like chay did when he confessed with the guitar pick and that will eventually win chay over and this time he can actually say he loves all of kim and not the lie he knew before. I have hope and still pray for a side story of kimchay

coming back to this video, now that JeffBarcode are in S. Korea filming their new series as mains. I never thought we would have jbc series after Kimchay. Im just so happy for them and our fandom. Kim started meeting chay only to spy on him but fell head over heals which was unexpected for himslef. The mental torment Kim faced when he knew that his love draws Chay into dangerous world and Chay will have to lose himself to survive there...was at another level. Kim had to push Chay away unwillingly while protecting him like a guardian angel without him knowing just to keep his innocent and pure self safe. Kim is a real lover. He is way better than Kinn and Vegas. Chay was not an idiot either. If only he knew what chaos was happening on Kims mind and heart.. he would never let Kim go.Kim and Porchay deserved a better ending. The directors and writers are at complete fault for not doing a season 2 or a spl ep.
seriously like if Kim broke chay's heart cus he wanted to "protect" him, he should have rejected him the very day he proposed him, that would have been much better since he had also gotten all the info about Porsche via chay till then, why did he kissed him, he literally led him on and then pretended like nothing happened!? I'm glad chay stood on his ground till the end cus kim deserved that. Kim needs to understand that you can't just play with people's feelings based on your own judgements and still expect them to forgive you easily.

I got Kim's point of view...like he knew that his lies were hurtful and that actually confessing his feelings and being with Chay would probably put him in more danger...so he denied it when Chay asked if he loved him or not...but it seriously hurt all the same...I mean after the 2 bar scenes (the one where he stops chay from doing drugs and the one where he kills all the thugs in the background) he should have confessed instead of leaving even though it was a nice touch plotwise

@@leeleewright3493 There is a lot of really great, interesting meta-analysis on their relationship on Tumblr -mostly on how it might have really Chan/Barcode's young age that kept the Kimchay relationship from being a lot darker -more inline with the novel. A common thread of all three pairings is the uneven power dynamics. The difference is that with Kinnporsche and Vegaspete, both parties are away from their uneven footing and navigate through that. Chay, however, spends a good chunk of the series believing he is in a self-insert, fan/idol Wattpad fanfiction (a scenario that, even without the Mafia thing, would have STILL created a massive power gap). He doesn't know he's being used. So even when there are these genuinely sweet, wholesome moments between the two, there is this layer of unease as well. I DO think it was important to have Kimchay's first meeting be BEFORE Kim found out about the family connection though. It allows the viewers to see there was a genuine spark, that Kim WAS bemusedly charmed by Chay. And ultimately I don't mind their ending , even if it broke my heart, because it swings the power into something more even. Kim has realized both how much harm he contributed to and how much the relationship meant to him. He wants Chay back but, for that to happen, it would be on Chay's terms. That isn't to say Kim wouldn't stack the deck in his favor though. We know Kim is a very dangerous person, and a brand new obsession seems to have taken root in his mind by those final episode. If, by some miracle, we ever got S2, I think we'd see just how... stalkerish and ruthless Kim could be.
It hurts me so much that we won’t have a season 2. Just because I want to see more of them. People it seems like care more about the other two couples but Kim and Chay are so unique. They have chemistry but you can tell Kim is fighting it. I wish we could of had a spin off, a movie, or something with Kim and Chay. However, it seems like it won’t happen…we won’t have closure 😢

Their story actually made me cry. It was not just a puppy love but they both loved each other wholeheartedly except for the fact That Kim could not be with him 😭 We as fans were expecting another series of them but unfortunately and fortunately Jeff left the company so any hopes of him and Code together in another series is completely gone. But but but, the fact that these two have another series coming together makes us happy because even if Jeff left the company, he is working with Code.. Also the fact that Jeff recognized Code's talent of singing and encouraged him is so heart touching 😭❤️❤️

Need i remind you what happened last time when Kinn and Tawan was there? Having Porsche as a new bodyguard without any background checks what so ever is sus af. Their father just wanted him immediately in there so ofc he had to do what he had to do to make sure that Porsche wasn't actually a threat. He DID end up falling in love with Chay, but just like Kinn, he's unable to express himself properly therefore he did it with ACTION instead of words. He literally SAVED Porchay after he was taken hostage after realizing that Tawan was still alive. Ofc we know that, but that should be proof enough that he does love him. And then here's the other thing: he found out that there's a lot of links regarding Chay/Porsche's family, specifically mother towards the main family. He didn't know if they were actually related or not, not to mention he didn't want Porchay to end up with that toxic environment (hence as to why he left and did his own thing) so it makes sense as to WHY he broke up with him. You're not thinking of the actual problems at hand that led Kim to do what he NEEDED to do. But in the end, he STILL proved that he loves him by saving him AGAIN from the guards of the minor family, saving him from doing drugs when entered college, took a look at all the dates he had with him after they got together and crying bc the things happened the way that they did, not to mention it was CHAY who was on his mind that helped him finish his song. HE LOVES HIM. How would you explain to your partner that 'I have a mafia family and my big brother is in charge of it all, oh, and we might be related' like WTF?!
Sure it was messed up at first, but this is a MAFIA WORLD and he was JUST looking after for Kinn. It's clear that he loves his brothers and doesn't want what Tawan did to end up happening a second time. And besides, he wrote an ENTIRE SONG for Chay at the last episode proving his feelings for Chay to be true. Chay was left speechless not having been able to get over him. That was Kim's response to his question whether he loved him or not as well as him apologizing that he did that and wants him back. I AM JUSTIFYING KIM. As heartbreaking as their story turned out I think it had to be this way for now cause of barcode’s age but you definitely get the feeling kim fell in love just like chay he wouldn’t show so much care if he didn’t love chay, maybe they’ll get their redemption if this series continues but these two storyline was just as amazing as kinnporshe and I really hope they explore it more and bring those two back together to admit the love they know is there for each other it’d be a shame to let such a great storyline with so much amazing chemistry go to waste
Everyone is crying for Chay but i can understand Kim. It's easy to say i will protect you, but it's much harder when you don't even know whether what is gonna hurt the one you love others or you yourself. It's better to leave or take a break then stretching both ties

Kim approached Ché because of Porsche and he's kinda investigating what happened to their parents, at first that was his only reason why he is sticking close to Ché but as he spends more time with him Kim realized that there's so much more beyond that. It's true Porchay liked Kim first, Porchay was the first one who followed Kim because he's a fan of Wik but Kim is the one who fell harder inlove with Ché. But what's really heartbreaking is that Ché was ready to commit but Kim is reluctant about it, he didn't want Porchay to enter his messed up world and drag him into chaos that's why when Ché asked him if he ever loved Porchay he chose not to confirm nor deny it leaving Ché heartbroken in the end. In the end, Kim tried to fix everything but Ché put up his walls changing everything about him. The song Kim send to Ché was kinda like his indirect confession to Ché saying "that everything will be okay just stay here with me" but Ché already put up his walls around his heart the love is still there but the pain is much more. In the end to all of this one thing is common for the both of them, they are both left brokenhearted 💔
People forget that they were both hurting but Kim is mature he knew how to control it and not show his true feelings and that why he build

This was so beautiful yet heart breaking! But i honestly believe that their open ending left room for them to get back together. First it was chay chasing after wik and kim fell for him but that was never the plan. And then when kim broke chays heart yet came to regret it, he became the one doing the chasing. First as the violent kim in the club and at yoks bar and it didn't do much for chay other then piss him off yet show him kim carea about his physical safety and then when kim sees that isnt enough he chases chay like chay did with him. Calling him even when chay doesn't pick up and then he writes him a personal song to confess he is sorry and loves him just like chay wrote kim a Love song and even though chay is still heartbroken he can't ignore this gesture. So i feel like future kim would keep trying like chay did when he confessed with the guitar pick and that will eventually win chay over and this time he can actually say he loves all of kim and not the lie he knew before. I have hope and still pray for a side story of kimchay

This story between Kim and Porchay is heartbreaking, but they are best friends in real life who love, adore and support each other…..
Kim started meeting chay only to spy on him but fell head over heals which was unexpected for himslef. The mental torment Kim faced when he knew that his love draws Chay into dangerous world and Chay will have to lose himself to survive there...was at another level. Kim had to push Chay away unwillingly while protecting him like a guardian angel without him knowing just to keep his innocent and pure self safe. Kim is a real lover. He is way better than Kinn and Vegas. Chay was not an idiot either. If only he knew what chaos was happening on Kims mind and heart.. he would never let Kim go.Kim and Porchay deserved a better ending. The directors and writers are at complete fault for not doing a season 2 or a spl ep.

seriously like if Kim broke chay's heart cus he wanted to "protect" him, he should have rejected him the very day he proposed him, that would have been much better since he had also gotten all the info about Porsche via chay till then, why did he kissed him, he literally led him on and then pretended like nothing happened!? I'm glad chay stood on his ground till the end cus kim deserved that. Kim needs to understand that you can't just play with people's feelings based on your own judgements and still expect them to forgive you easily.

I got Kim's point of view...like he knew that his lies were hurtful and that actually confessing his feelings and being with Chay would probably put him in more danger...so he denied it when Chay asked if he loved him or not...but it seriously hurt all the same...I mean after the 2 bar scenes (the one where he stops chay from doing drugs and the one where he kills all the thugs in the background) he should have confessed instead of leaving even though it was a nice touch plotwise

@@leeleewright3493 There is a lot of really great, interesting meta-analysis on their relationship on Tumblr -mostly on how it might have really Chan/Barcode's young age that kept the Kimchay relationship from being a lot darker -more inline with the novel.
A common thread of all three pairings is the uneven power dynamics. The difference is that with Kinnporsche and Vegaspete, both parties are away from their uneven footing and navigate through that. Chay, however, spends a good chunk of the series believing he is in a self-insert, fan/idol Wattpad fanfiction (a scenario that, even without the Mafia thing, would have STILL created a massive power gap). He doesn't know he's being used. So even when there are these genuinely sweet, wholesome moments between the two, there is this layer of unease as well.
I DO think it was important to have Kimchay's first meeting be BEFORE Kim found out about the family connection though. It allows the viewers to see there was a genuine spark, that Kim WAS bemusedly charmed by Chay.
And ultimately I don't mind their ending , even if it broke my heart, because it swings the power into something more even. Kim has realized both how much harm he contributed to and how much the relationship meant to him. He wants Chay back but, for that to happen, it would be on Chay's terms. That isn't to say Kim wouldn't stack the deck in his favor though. We know Kim is a very dangerous person, and a brand new obsession seems to have taken root in his mind by those final episode. If, by some miracle, we ever got S2, I think we'd see just how... stalkerish and ruthless Kim could be.

Their story actually made me cry. It was not just a puppy love but they both loved each other wholeheartedly except for the fact That Kim could not be with him 😭 We as fans were expecting another series of them but unfortunately and fortunately Jeff left the company so any hopes of him and Code together in another series is completely gone.
But but but, the fact that these two have another series coming together makes us happy because even if Jeff left the company, he is working with Code..
