update: Hi everyone, thank you for watching my videos.. Here is recent photo update > It’s me, harvesting lavender last month :) ruclips.net/channel/UCScmZcJPeMiG2zG2OxAUpIQcommunity?lb=UgkxboKniDGGvN_l_vHh_weDox32SUF7JiHJ
I'm excited to see the results of this. I've subscribed so I don't miss it. I tried this last year but I planted them too soon and they didn't make it. I'm going to take my cuttings in a few days!
It is now just about 4 weeks since I started with this lot. I can see some roots already, hopefully soon I will make an update video. Good luck with your cuttings... Thanks for the sub!
I've taken cuttings for White Buddleia and Hydrangea's and made a video on these about 3 years ago. Also took cuttings for Spirea, Lavender and Hebe's.
I kept them near the window, with no direct sunlight, and changed the water at least twice a week. it is summer here now, I already repotted them twice and still keep them in a shaded location away from direct sunlight. will plant them in the ground in mid-autumn... thank you for watching :)
I tried this method last year and now i have 2 healthy babies. Thank you for sharing.
What kind of lavender did you have? How long before you got roots with the water technique?
I’m excited to see this has worked bc I have always thought lavender didn’t want constant water

Why the cinnamon Powder?
Is there hormons inside or what
And why squeeze the end of the stems?
What did you do to bottom of cutting it’s not clear?
Why he did it it the question
Crushed it
I do not drink from plastic bottles as to reuse them like this but I think a glass jar will work the same.
A cup is fine, anything that vaguely holds water
Brilliant. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!

What is the purpose of the netting?
It is to keep the cuttings seperated.
@@ElizabethLopez-tx8ls yes, and above the water. thx for watching :)
After they root, they get stuck in the net. How do you get them out without stripping all the root?
What is the cinnamon for??
it helps to heal the scar in the plant
@@ashlyloaiza3041 does it works with all plants?, thats a great advice!
@@darwinmuuu4620 yeah :)
the cinnamon powder is used as antiseptic
Has to be pure cinnamon from my understanding.
How long do you make the citting?
the length of the cuttings are about 12 - 15 cm.. thx for watching :)
Cut just above the woodiness, you want to leave at least some green on the plant. Then you should be golden
Sun requirement? Shaded only for 2 months? How often you change the water? Thanks

@@fignutofficial You'll be fine. Write a loose script and describe what you're doing and why....looking forward to it.🙂
@@nickfrezza2976 i will try, thx for your support :)
One of the weirdest and creepiest videos I’ve ever watched on propagating. And the onion bag? How are you going to get the rooted cuttings out?
You should show the results. Also, I don't think cinnamon or other propagations hormons will stick to the stem if put in water
