    I gave up dairy half way through November. My skin rash ( of 10 plus years) has started to to improve. I can literally see the inflammation line moving.
    It was very hard as I grew up on a dairy farm and love dairy products.

    I have a paint brush and paint over my image in my mind. This helps stop the thinking and I fall asleep very quickly.

    Thanks for sharing that even a food that is part of a diet can be too much. I am challenged by bacon. I can't stop and then don't feel well. I have to watch thick cream too. As a condiment ... great suggestion!

    Great advice to check your heart health if edema persists. I found that when I didn’t have enough salt my edema was worse. Counterintuitive to what we’ve been told. I think it is also related to hydration. If you are dehydrated I think edema can be worse. I also use a vibration plate to help with circulation but also it just feels so good.

    Just started Carnivore, my husband and I are on day 7, and feeling great! I lost 3 pounds. and anxiety has decreased 80%.

    Happy New Year's to you and your family! I'm ketovore mostly but trying to get to carnivore this year. It's been a battle but watching videos helps keep me on track! I absolutely love learning as much as I can! It's such a battle with others to explain my diet,so I just decided to do me,and lead by example! Love you!

    I do Apple cider vinegar also! It does help after a big meal.

    If the lady who had gotten sick and had to have the nyquil can see this comment... I am trying the experiment of eating the L. Paracasei Shirota yogurt (from Dr Davis's Supergut book) throughout the cold/flu season. We are only half way through the season, and we tend to get sick in the springtime, but no one in my family has come down with anything yet. That particular strain is supposed to increase your immunity against respiratory viruses. Maybe something to try?

    I missed the first part so happy to catch up now. I started Lion December 27, first time doing Lion, no dairy, only meat, but feel really good. I needed to get back on the wagon. Thought I was a moderator, but no, I am an abstainer.

    At one time u posted how to calculate tdee and a good place to start keto and carnivore with an example. Can’t find that post anymore. Your tdee was 2833 in example. Can u help me out

      A 3 day sardine challenge cannot be compared to a 60-90 day elimination type diet such as lion. Apples and oranges with different goals.

      That will be a different amount for each person depending on their individual calorie needs.

      I mostly use Himalayan salt and at times I will use sea salt or Redmonds, they are all good. For me in Canada BC Himalayan is the cheapest. I can get a big container at Costco and it will last me 2-4 months.

    Also - do you find that too much meat is ever a problem? I’ve heard people like Stephanie saying it’s possible to have too much? 🤔

      I don't think I'm having too much? I don't know who Stephanie is or what the problems are. I eat about 120g protein a day, honestly not too much!

      That’s good to hear! I was referring to Stephanie keto person (sorry) . She’s been on Kelly’s channel before and she believes people get better results with less protein and more fat.
