It took me 10 repetitions because it looked like you were about to eat the coins, but in fact, you are a little bit far, and you have to repeat if you miss the red coins. But the challenge is the fun part because, honestly, I bet the game took like 6 hours in 2 days and collected all 120 stars. It was easy, but I thought it was going to be more challenging like when I was 10 years old and know no English. And i hope you guys enjoyed the game too and made wonderful memories. "Mamma mia!"
@@trunkit8749 I only knew of at least 2. The NSO version and the one included in 3D All-Stars are two separate versions. One difference I know of is that there’s a red coin moved in Wing Mario over the Rainbow. There’s two coins on top of the cloud in one version and in the other, one of the coins is moved to the poles underneath near where a third coin is.
I thought I had missed one and didn’t realize you got a second star from the Mimsy in the basement after getting 50 Power Stars. Right now I just need to get the collective 14 from Tick Rock Clock and Rainbow Ride and the last red coin Star from Bowser.

at 20:14 there is a much easier way to wall jump to that star. dont use the 2nd moving right pole but the 1st left one and wall jump the two walls to reach the right higher area then use the squat jump to reach the star. saved myself allot of raging.
I broke my 5 year olds heart. He really wanted to see yoshi but I missed the 1st Mips star. I got the second one after I'd already collected 100 stars. Now Mips won't come back. We literally have 119 stars and can't get the last star. I feel so disappointed. But I hate this game and I just can't bring myself to start literally all over just to see Yoshi on top of the castle. Did he ever show up? I'm in a similar situation. I got Mips when I had 100 stars so he never came back to get the second star. The game does nothing to warn you about this.

My god the camera controls in the game will always go down as the most frustrating
This. That and the fact you can’t turn “about face” without going in a circle like you can in later Mario games is where most of the difficulty lies.

The red coins aren’t secret stars because it literally tells you to collect red coins for the next star when you jump into the painting.
