NEW DJI Firmware Update fixes critical Hyperlapse Bug (incl. DJI FLY App 1.13.8)

- Join me on this test flight with the DJI Mini 4 Pro, which has the latest DJI Fly App 1.13.8 update and firmware update v01.00.0600. These updates are supposed to fix a critical bug around connectivity when using hyper-lapse.

I do not have the mini 4 pro nor the mini 3 pro but appreciate this video discussing the update as well as the brief tutorial on POS. I'm still enjoying my Mini 2 and Air 2S. Both fulfill my current needs. BRAVO on having another income stream that will allow You to financially support Yourself. Wishing You continued success.
Especially for hyperlapses, it is a big advantage to install the large battery. Although you lose the C0 classification, the additional minutes still make it very pleasant for time/hyperlapse lovers (like me).
The Android fly app for the mini 2 RC-N1C is now 1.13.9

On Android 1.13.9 corrects flaws w wp missions 😂
...and maybe HEO ist already testing the brandnew Air 3S/Air 4?
I've just updated today and twice I had hyperlapse video's stop part way, saying couldn't write to card. Yet I have the fastest card and it happened twice out of four attempts. I must admit my hyperlapse were much longer duration than yours. Can you do further test with longer durations.

How do you modify the transmission frequencies in an app? It's like saying my car firmware upgrade means it now runs on hydrogen. 😮
It’s the app but the firmware - you Bern able to switch between 5.4 and 2.4 for a long time
Ocusync protocol switches multiple times per second best channel/frequency. But outside the North Americas u're able to set FCC radio signal strength mode. About 20 times more powerful than CE.
******WARNING******* Fly App 1.13.8 now causes waypoint editing/saving/opening to crash the app when opening a newly created waypoint. Updated two RC2 controllers. Now can not do waypoints on either one. Other flyers have also reported this problem so it is not unique just to my two RC2 controllers.
Sounds like this update is full of bugs. 😢
@@ChristiaanLowei also have the idea that DJI starts loosing control? That is not a good thing because updates have to be reliable. Not solving an issue and introducing two new ones.
1.13.9 is supposed to fix the waypoints issue

unbelievable this LOUSY QUALITY CONTROL BY DJI. Updates solve problems but for the price to produce new bugs... My conclusion: as far as my system works well no 'regular' updates anymore. As soon as new features are coming up, Ill update, but only after neutral YTbers did give a GO !
