Love your energy guys. Thank you for your love for John - he is the GOAT - his vocals, his musicianship, his stage craft and persona. And we can't leave out the best band and backing vocals - so in sync. ♥️🥰🤩 10000 to 15000 people there!!
Thanks guys. What a fantastic reaction to our John. I love how you appreciate everything about him, as we Aussies do, too. He's not just ONE of the best artists I've ever heard, he is THE best artist I've ever heard in my life. He is the GOAT!!!! You're so right that his vocals are always perfect. I've been to dozens of his concerts over the years, and I've never heard him hit a bad note. He has been sheer perfection from when he first started his music career at 17 years old right up to the last performance that he gave at the age of 71. There never has been anyone else quite like our Farnsey and never will be anyone else quite like him again. He is the absolute best of the absolute best!!!!
Fantastic request Mel 😊 This is a beautiful song by John. I love the drum beat and the harmonies. It is perfection 🥰 Angus' drum solo at the end is my favourite part 👍 The whole Chain Reaction concert is stunning. The production throughout is simple but epic at the same time ❤️ ❤️ Thanks guys. So glad you are enjoying more Farnsey 😉 ❤️ ❤️
Thanks, Mel, for requesting this song. I've only recently discovered it. Just some 34 years behind 😂. The drumming theme and the sticks held by the backing vocalist Venetta, Chuck, and Lisa are inspired by Aboriginal traditional music. David and Steve do look like they are enjoying playing the drums too. A social conscience song (like so many John Farnham songs are) this song was co-written by John about Aboriginal rights. The lyrics, "After an age of harmony came a reign based on greed" gives a gist what John feels about it. Personally reminds me very much of Midnight Oil, "Beds are burning".
Yep - John Farnham is much more political than he gets credit for. Some truly powerful songs from this era which should be protest anthems. ‘All our sons and daughters’ is another one from the same album.
Thank you again for another Great reaction to our phenomenal Aussie legend, John Farnham! He is the GOAT and has been for over 50 years!! Please watch many more of his amazing performances.
Here for all the John Farnham! Love you loving John and breaking down his legendary vocal prowess, performances and personality. Thank you! And encore ❤
Thank you so much for recognising that John is with out doubt one of the best talents who ever got up on stage. He should be recognised globally with the likes of Elvis, MJ, Freddie, Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra...not just for his ability to sing the house down, but for his showmanship. They just don't make many entertainers of that calibre any more ❤
Thankyou so much for this reaction. This has been one of my favourite songs of all time since I first heard it at about ten years old - I’m on my forties now.
Wow that was great man,I've never heard that track before, never really appreciated John when I was younger because I was into heavy rock/metal but being older now,I see the talent of the man.Great choice Mel thank you.
Boomer cranky old man says, grew up with his music from " Sady the cleaning lady" 60's. He can sing/perform. The very definition of legend. Watch the documentary. Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy
Love this song it’s about indigenous peoples being taken over and dispossessed and the time has come to give it back John was well ahead of his time recognizing Indigenous Australians lost their land

You are spot on when you say he is like a close friend... hard to explain how we can feel that way about someone we have never met!

Thankyou so much for this reaction. This has been one of my favourite songs of all time since I first heard it at about ten years old - I’m on my forties now.
And let's remember that his hands can make a guitar sing. John Farnham is simply an amazing performer.

Gave John a guitar to stop him chucking the mike stand everywhere.

Not sure how many seats in that venue, but he filled it over 90 times as a solo artist. That’s just one city in Australia!
He has filled this venue 97 times. That is 1,000,000 people.

You need to review JOHN FARNHAM Live doing his A/C DC cover "it a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll". Its better than A/Cs original.
Where os Travis, this guy drives me nuts.
1st no need to be rude, 2nd if you dont like watching Jon and Dolly, dont, 3rd my request was for Jon and Dolly to react.
