- Ms Jasmeet Kaur, a climate warrior and an entrepreneur and environmentalist who founded Xaper Waste Solution talked about Torrefaction. She asserted that in the name of commercialization, we are creating more waste. Technology gives the impression that we have prevailed over nature but it is not true. She emphasiszed that we all should realize that we have done enough damage to our environment and it is high time that we should move ahead of just putting promises on paper and instead show it in our actions, promises to the mother nature.

If we Indians want to be the World Leaders then we must define and choose a direction and how we achieve it. Sustainability and co existence with the sound use of technology has to be the Numero Uno in the agenda. Good Job Jasmeet in working towards the goal.
I love you my Sister I'm Super proud of you . ❤
Best wishes
I get the impression that it's often Indians and I guess Bengali too who are interested in bio solutions like methane digesters and growing water hyacinth for biomass or considering making fuel products from biomass via torrefaction and pyrolysis. In other countries, the distance with nature seems larger.
You need to note that we do not have landfill, rather dumpsites. Agricultural Waste is no more waste in present Era.
Getting to Net Zero by 2050 would cost $9.2 trillion a year (McKinsey). That's not going to be good value for money. That's nearly one-tenth of global GDP. That money would be better spent on a myriad of things including educating the fifth of humanity who are illiterate and represent a 7% annual loss to the world's economy.
Maddeningly, there is no climate crisis. The Earth was warmer in the recent and distant past.
