He’s stated many times since the early AA days that he’s a big 80’s guy and it showed in his work but later on that Harlot was influenced by 70’s rock so I have no doubt he’s taken Influence from rock gods like Ian Gillian as well!
like ive said before, this band is one of the few "rock and roll" types of bands. also, the reason danny can scream this high was because hebwas drunk as shit during the reckless and relentless shows and he would sing/scream so bad, he was hurting his vocals to the point they had to bring someone else in to fill sometimes. welp, that ended up being a good thing because his vocals changed a bit. now he has an incredibly unique voice not heard in a while since the 80s. 1. blew up 2. did heavy drugs and alcohol 3. lead singer was so drunk during shows 4. band has problems with singer 5. singer leaves and they get a replacement 6. make album with hate towards ex singer 7. new singer is a douche too 8. new singer threatens to leave 9. band kicks new singer out 10. band and ex singer mature a bit 11. band reconciles with ex singer 12. band works on newer music 13. band makes album with new rock feel 14. band has success with new music 15. band is mature and making good music

Danny Worsnop was my favorite metalcore influence. I'm a metalhead, I've been a metalhead for 12 years, and Danny lost me at A House on fire. I'm mostly into Technical death metal, dsbm, Progressive metal and some metalcore and deathcore bands like, Ice Nine Kills, August Burns Red, Veil of maya, Born of Osiris, After the burial, Loathe etc... and bands like Archspire, Cattle Decapitation etc... I still love Danny Worsnop's old stuff, but his voice changed so much.
Stand up and scream, reckless and relentless. And the one before those two are AA. Everything else is a huge step in the wrong direction in my opinion. And it really sucks ass to have to say it.
