Pi Kappa Phi says it's not involved in fundraiser for 'rager' for defending American flag

- More than 13,000 people have donated to an online fundraiser that purports to be for a massive party for fraternity members who held an American flag during protests at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill this week.
But the fraternity says it is not involved in the fundraising effort. The "Pi Kappa Phi Men Defended their Flag. Throw 'em a Rager" GoFundMe page has raised more than $427,000 as of Thursday afternoon. The tongue-in-cheek page has a goal of $450,000. It is organized by John Noonan, a national political figure who is not affiliated with the fraternity.

We really want to see footage of what is happening at UNC. We are not interested in watching the Anchor people on the news talking at us. We want to see the footage. If you must express your opinion, do it in the background of the footage. We see you all the time. You can miss being in some of the events. It is not about the news anchors.

John Noonan, put ALL of the GFM funds in an Escrow account. The frat guys should then vote on a controller and vote on how to best utilize the money. Maybe $25 K for a party. The GFM donors could suggest ideas, maybe scholarships for fallen soldiers and relief for homeless Vets..
