Well Mr Methos, I've watched your videos on previous games, and I didnt really think you would still play serious sam after all those years, but damn has it brought a smile to my face. Shame that the game didn't rise up to everyone's expectations, but its a common thing nowadays that triple A games are being released in early acces. Have a great day, my dude
Great video it's a shame they got lazy with putting the "secrets" in most of these are just gadgets or ammo not like the old days where theres a snowman that fire rockets and a shrinking snowman and even the chainsaw pumpkin field they were good

Same thing w. SS4. Your stuff is on point. One suggestion: For #3 in Machina Ex Deus, maybe put a comment re: how it's on the other side of the river. I went up and down on the first side, couldn't find it. Even used the secret trick of cussing out my monitor but that didn't help. Weird! Srsly tho, you make some good vids.

Weird, they must have changed something: in this video at 5:40 there are 8 tires to the right of the door, but when I get there, there are no tires in that spot to jump onto.
for some reason they made the secret in Chapter 2 (3:10 with the balcony) harder, they removed the last air conditioner on which you have to jump. not that it wasn't already hard enough with the platforming -.-
At least one area for secret has changed. In Four horsemen of Apocalypse the 3rd secret where you first need to jump on tires is behind the metal cabin instead of in front of it - at least for me.
@DoubleTap because ct thinks that leaderboards bring nothing to the experience. I think danny clarified it in ct discord. We are not getting it because only a small fraction of players cares about it. Similliar thing with dm. Ct was interested in adding it but since nobody showed interest we wont get it. Same with leaderboards
At 27:41 L.I.F.E. is not there. There is nothing on the roof. But strangely enough, it was just lying on the ground a few meters from that spot, no need to jump to the roof.
It has the best shooting in the series, but the rest is a mess, secrets are mostly subpar, it's quantity over quality, npc's suck, skill points suck, dual wield is great, the amount of pop in...yuck. The options available for "runs" like the previous games are bad. It's an early access serious sam. Oh and the game launch without beeing able to bind weapons directly... you can bind them now but, still no direct bindings for the gadgets which tbh I'm not very fond of. (weapon wheel = lol)
So, since a new Update came out for Serious Sam 2 (that also fixed the save corruption bug, thank god) are you gonna make an All Secret video of that game too?
Is this on console? I've literally tried every single combination of graphic settings and no matter what I do it's choppy and low fps and glitchy everything. Best option I have found (should say "best") gets me maybe 100fps not in combat or shadows or near a lot of trees/bushes. Really wish this wasn't a non AAA title company. BFE I thought looked pretty good for it's era, but the optimization for 4 makes me really sad. I run other games higher settings and get 120fps and look much better. Sucks I can't find a sweet spot.
Probably not, haven't even bought it. After they basically abandon SS4 and it's unoptimized mess, I'm probably done with the series. I'll probably buy when there's a discount tough.
Serious Sam 4 is about how not to make secrets, stupid parkour sections are really annoying and prizes are not satysfying. Siberian Mayhem do this a lot better.
Too many of the same secrets "gadgets" not alot fun jokes or humor or many traps . It's somehow boring in a way . Why The First & Second Encounter as Serious Sam 2 are the best with secrets and story as soundtrack.

I played all serious sams, how tf did I not think about the classic rocket launcher hidden in level 1

Awesome secrets guide! What are your opinions on Sam 4 if you don’t mind me asking? Fans are so mixed but I think it’s still real good fun.
It has the best shooting in the series, but the rest is a mess, secrets are mostly subpar, it's quantity over quality, npc's suck, skill points suck, dual wield is great, the amount of pop in...yuck. How are you getting it to run so smoothly. My fps jumps up and down and I get stuttering. Run other moden games on ultra no problem
There are some settings you need to lower that use a lot of power. Even on my great gaming PC I had to lower many of these settings.
