Sad how ALMOST decent this game was. But the terrible performance even on hardware way above the recommended system requirements made it so unenjoyable, I uninstalled it before I even finished my first playthrough. That stuttering. Those dips. My God. And aside from the weapon models, the game didn't even look good. It was just too much of a mess of an experience for a game that didn't live up to the older titles to begin with. Nice clear either way though dude. You're an amazing player and a much stronger person than Ill ever be, putting up with this game. At least the music still slaps
The weird thing is, you can see that they legit tried to make a good game. All the BFE enemies have been changed based on criticism, the environments are much more varied etc.. The look of the game and the shit performance is due to the game being in development hell for almost a decade. They really screwed up big time by bloating an outdated engine instead of straight up making SS4 on a new engine. There's also a generational difference between the devs and fans which doesn't help at all. I get the feeling they genuinely tried, but didn't know what they were doing. SS4 seems to be abandoned right now.. probably because Croteam doesn't communicate with their fans on what the hell is even going on in their studio, which is the only reason why I'm not quick to say they don't care. But they really have no idea how to talk to their fans.

How do you complete the god awful mech segments ? It’s impossible to heal the mechs health and I feel like mech segments require luck rather than skill.
I have never seen a playthrough of this game where the player doesn't glitch around or use exploits. And I've watched quite a bunch of playthroughs. I don't remember previous games having such huge and easy exploits around every corner but jesus, it's ridiculous in this game.

Actually I haven't spent much time in Quake and when I did it was only singleplayer. Q3A I only played the campaign with bots. I rarely play any multiplayer games.

I still had fun with this game to some extent, but yeah they've tried way too hard on several things; story wasn't interesting at all, like they did nothing with Charlie and Kenny should've stabbed Achriman as his last action, and I much prefered how I could be "tactical" in SS3, like I genuinely loved having to get dangerously close to Arachnoids to land a C4 on them, but here in SS4, I didn't got that opportunity all that much as there's too much going on, but not sure if "too much" is a bad thing either. It's cool though you manage to do all your conditions like that, it almost makes me want to give it a shot myself.
It's a videogame, you don't have to ask questions, in videogames anything is possible, they can make a human that can destroy the earth with a slap on the ground and be okay with that
@@an0nn I actually find TSE to be the easiest for me personally on serious difficulty due to how much ammo you get, but I imagine the gimmicky rooms to be very hard for a deathless run. Meanwhile I find SS2 to be 1 of the hardest due to the increased enemy health
I was really hoping this is going to be a good game as I've loved Serious Sam since I was a child. Playing original two games every other year, seeing this shit and BFE really destroys me.
They are still fun, i like them a lot. As long as the games don't come out so buggy and laggy as fuck, they're fine. Serious sam is meant to be just kill everything until it's over so i wouldn't worry about anything else

The amount of monsters is way smaller than in the original two and you have to reload guns, which makes it far less enjoyable. + I honestly think graphics of remastered TFE and TSE is way better than this crap. I dont want to trashtalk the game, I just wished it was as good as the first games.
These are my type of games but the reviews say it stutters and buggy why i never bought it but it looks and plays good on here also i like the music for this game very epic to it some think the new doom game lacked just distorted bass and screeching awful on my ears. But this is just perfect
an0n, why are you switching between weapons? It's been found out you can DMC2 this whole game with just the pistols. Switching weapons is just optional in this game.

TSE was the hardest, SS3 the easiest.
