Here's another tutorial for you all! Please let me know if you have any other requests and I'll try my best to do them :D Also, it looks the audio got a bit messed up and out of sync unfortunately. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy and find this tutorial useful! ^-^
Honey I am really appreciative of the way you find the cords. I am a drummer turn guitar player for many years now, and this is the way I learned how to play guitar songs except in my day we had an LP player. So many youngsters, or using electronica devices to learn and they miss out on the precept that you’re teaching here. It’s refreshing to see such a young person doing it the old-school way you will go far. Keep up the good work. Well done👍👌🎼🎸👋
You don't need to have a music degree or something just some basic knowledge Trust me you can learn the basics in a few hours and its definitely enough for this
Xing Chau Lanvy. Ive been waiting on this video for a long time. After years of playing rock and blues I have pulled out my acoustic to do some finger-style. Thanks Lanvy love your style :)
no one literally no one tells what you have told the insider story of the things behind arrangement. fully appreciated. do more of the good stuffs. waiting,,,,
May I just say that you are excessively adorable and cute (besides being a talented fingerstyle guitarist)😍Discovered you today and became a fan after watching a couple of your videos . Hope to see more from you in coming days/years.

i've never clicked on a vid faster. ur back yayayayayy. im so happy ur uploading again. on my device im the first like haha but probably not. anyways thanks for this! u seem rlly confident :)) and i've left my guitar in standard D too :) ik most of these but still nice to learn from you💙😊
Lanvy! My notifications failed and I missed your first live stream! :( Waaa! I came to an old vid to say hi, now I'm going back to look for your live stream. Even if it's just 5 to start, I'd LOVE to be there with you. Try again!
I dont when i suscribed to your channel buuuut i really want to know how to arrange fingerstyle songs and this tutorial is the best! Thank you so much. Im going to lisent all your arrangments
My favorite tunning for fingerstyle is dadfad, having a d as the bass is usually low enough to play everything and you have an open Dminor which is actually really nice for fingerstyle cause you can just barre all the strings with your index and you have either all your fingers available if it's a minor chord or 2 fingers if it's a major chord
Nice! My guitar actually isn't in an open D minor chord, it's just standard but lowered a whole step. If you tried to barre all strings in standard you wouldn't get minor chords (but an Em7add11 type of chord), so it's essentially the same for me :)
*About me* 1 step: You have to have musical hearing Ohhh, you failed but you have second chance. 2 step: You have to can play the guitar not like noob You failed again, bye
Awesome it was very helpful. My guitar has the same tuning. I learn exactly like you. Listen to song over and over again, finding chords or make my own, tabbing it with the extra good stuff, and last recording it :)
Damn should start learning chords names rn........ Been learning guitar by searching for sungha's tabs and i literally only know like 5 chords names lol
Thanks! If it's rhythm you're having trouble with, you can first try playing the root note of the chord on beat (if you're practicing with a metronome, which I highly recommend doing!). Then you can add the melody once you're comfortable with playing the chord on beat. I hope this makes sense! :)
Your a genius. I have to have the tablature. An easy version. Drop all the awkward notes and then some more then practice practice practice. You make it all look so easy because your a little genius. Thanks for the great music. May your guitar never go out of tune may you never brake a nail or a string God forbid. LOL🙄😁😄😆
Wow!!! I always wondered how u guys arrange a fingerstyle guitar songs... U jst made it crystal clear for me... Thank you so so so much... Ur jst awesome n such a gud teacher... 😇😇 One more request can u pliz pliz pliz do an arrangement for da song TABIDACHI NO UTA from Assassination Classroom?
Hi lanvy, Great tutorial this video has helped me a lot. Quick question once you’ve learned the song through and you’re happy with the arrangement, do you write it down in tab or sheet music because when I’m arranging sometimes I forget some parts thanks Dan
Excuse me, but can you explain more about how to hear and figure out the bass notes, cause i just can realize the melodies though and base on that, i would combine it with the bass based on the chords :
Do you have any idea how to arrange songs at highnotes. I know you can find the melodies in chords but I keep seeing guitarist that can arrange at highnotes, like they play it on chords and play it again at the upper fret.
You are amazing, but I have a problem with myself that's I'm too lazy to make arrangements on my own. Just turned 30 and I still kinda non creative. Learnt guitar for 3 years , that was 13 yrs ago. Keep up the spirit, young girl.
If we are able to tune into the proper bass chords is it easy to add tune the melody? I'm still a novice guitar player and I really like how guitarist do a fingerstyle👍
So the most important thing is ear training basically... and then technique... Technique always stops me. Even if I figure out the chords and the melody and find a way to put them together, my own unrefined technique hinders me lol. These videos are always great to watch. I love watching skilled guitarists arrange in real time. It makes you guys look more human... if that makes sense xD. When we're just watching the final product we're usually just dumbfounded we feel like doing something like that ourselves is impossible because we don't see the hard work that went behind the scenes.
Ok im not really good at that too, but i usually start by just playing the melody and also playing the root notes of the chords. Then you can add some other notes that sound nice or maybe you can already hear them in the song. Idk thats just how i do it
The answer to this is learn some arrangements first. I learnt a lot of arrangements ( almost 15-20 songs) by different youtubers Eddie , joni laakkonen , Kelly valleau and many more before i started arranging. I am not saying that i arrange well, but i am not stuck at the part at which you are. That comes naturally when you have learnt different arrangements. Hope i helped xD
@@acousticwolf5985 its the style and the music genre. I find it hard to use kent nishimura's style on my song genre. And also experimenting is also useful.
What should I do for the fingerstyle arrangement? because I don't know about the guitar theory I'm completely beginner but I can play the basic chords. And I'm interested to making my own guitar fingerstyle arrangement but I haven't get the idea for that . can you explain me about that how do I start first then maybe that would be helpful for me? ?

@Benj12678 I know
Downtune a whole step and put a capo on the second fret, so that it's standard tuning again. *INTELLECT:100*
Haha that was just for me since my guitar was already a whole step down, but you don't need to tune yours down since it's prob already in standard :)
Lol. Lanvy, I think you missed the joke.
