I stayed at resorts world couple weekends ago when the strip was closed for the race and had the same issue with the room door locking mechanism. There are automatic doors at the entrance, but they are on the side furthest to the right, the same is true for all hotels/casinos on the strip, they are ADA accessible. I didn't have any housekeeping problems and the woman attending my hall talked to me and asked when to come back and they did. I left tips for them on the bed but they made the beds and didn't take the tips, so I tipped them in person at the cart on the second day. I didn't really care for its location on the strip, but it's right next to a legal pot shop (thrive) that you can walk to, so that's nice. I ate at Lady Ms, it was nice, but I wouldn't stay again

Thanks for watching, and for sharing your experience! It does fascinate me that new hotels still install any manual doors at all, when they could all be automatic sliding doors (instead of the swinging type that can be opened with a button they have here).

I stayed at the Bellagio last summer and no coffee machine or kettle either. From what I’ve heard, it’s the way they do it in Vegas : You want coffee, you pay for it

Seems like it. This was my first time in Vegas, so I'm still learning!

I am a native to Las Vegas and have lived here my entire life. I know Vegas like the back of my hand and I work frequently as a freelancer on the Strip properties as a regular basis. Resorts World is a disaster. It has been since the day it was opened. Everything from the main parking garage being a super long walk from the main entrance (hint: there is a 2nd parking garage you can also enter off Industrial but you have to know to look for it) to the incredibly stupid setup of the food court, this property is my least favorite of all the major resort hotels in Las Vegas. I'm here a lot (I was working there last night actually) and I hate it every time I go there.

This was my first proper trip to Vegas, and I'm looking forward to trying other properties in the future. But I was attracted to this one as I understand they are smoke-free. Not sure how that is at other places.

@@MarkusTravels Most of the modern properties have smokeless areas or extremely good ventilation systems to deal with the smoke. You could walk right through most of these casinos nowadays and not even realize people are smoking, although that's not even very common as much as it used to be anyway.

No coffee maker in the room because they want you to go to Starbucks in the casino

The bathroom door is designed not to open all the way so it doesn't hit the shower glass door

I've had similar issues with Hilton housekeeping. But at least the rooms are in very good condition and clean coming in the first day. The Hiltons I have been at do have a water kettle so not sure why not in the Las Vegas hotel. Anyways I never saw a sock so sorry for the experience :) The properties are pretty good, the service is pleasant although I have not experienced the phone bot (yet), lobbies and etcetera are nice. Generally I agree that staying at Hilton is worth it.

Thanks for watching and sharing your experience! I hope they are able to maintain the high standards at Resorts World once it ages a bit.

Hey Markus I love your channel
I will take flight with swiss air to and gro. Zurich this summer,
Tell me please is it hard to find the train station from the hayt hotel in the circle? And on wich business lounge you recommend?

Both the Hyatt hotel and the train station at ZRH are vey easy to find. Signs are extremely clear. The walk is only a couple of minutes. The train station is on the lower floors; just take the escalator or elevator.

Go to the pool but they let you know all the empty chairs have to be paid for.
We have a return visit in a few weeks.
My last stay id say i liked my room for a clean place to sleep. The property has some issues. The mall last year was embarrassing for them.
During the weekdays the casino has lower energy than some other properties.. IF you have a chance to see a show in the theater uou wont have a bad seat. We saw Luke Bryant and loved the show.
They have offered us a free room a few times so our return is free. Free works.

I never understood the mall. There were no people in there during my visit! Maybe something went wrong in the planning/design.
