@@VladimirIsmaenkAnzorkovich Admittedly I wasn't around at this point, but the clips I've seen including niji talents are mostly Subaru's, Suisei, and Matsuri (who still collabs with everyone to this day).
That might be because there's still a lot of interest in Subaru's old stuff though, so it feeds through the algorithm more.

@@Philweasel interestingly even aqua collab with niji back then, there's a fun super smash collab with aqua kanae shiina etc.
i think back then was also when there were less members for all the groups so group collabs make more sense, while these days there's so many members for each group that collabing with one another will never run out.
but those were also a group collab that i think managers etc prob planned, while ones that subaru did was one she sought herself. matsuri also sought herself because of how much she is a fan of nijisanji members. suisei i know did good collabs with inui toko with same interests and husbandos haha.
Hearing "old" Subaru is so weird compared to how much more comfortable she sounds like nowadays. XD
i must admit i prefer the old one. i don't begrudge her talking like she does now - as it is more natural. but i think the old one was a pretty unique type of cuteness.
@@darlinglove7602 I'm the opposite, for me she sounded very artificial back then. Keeping in mind I started following Hololive around March 2020, she was already transitioning out of that voice.

Everything prior the big copyright issues hololive had in mid 2020. They were in panic, so it seems someone from the management or staff deleted all archives instead of making them private. This happened in some degree to most of the members, but Subaru was one of the most affected.

I do wonder how some JP bros would feel about Firefly since it's basically almost the same as Outlaw Star. Though Firefly did come out a year after the anime if I remember right, considering production timelines and whatnot the many many Many similarities are probably coincidences. Just very suspicious coincidences.
@@PK_Scratch I get where you are coming from with the rare sci-fi western genre, the rebel main character, and the girl with an enigmatic past whose clues lead to the larger plot at work. I find it very hard to believe that a writer like Joss Wheaton would base his work on someone else's without giving proper credit. He really doesn't need to.
In "A Man and His Symbols," Carl Jung describes the process of the same character archetypes popping up in myths, folklore and stories of multiple different unrelated countries at the same time before cross-communication was a feasible possibility. Basically, without communication, people on opposite sides of the globe were creating stories with seemingly the same themes and characters. I think this might be a case of similar themes filling out archetypes in two different works that chose the same rare genre, a spurious connection between two artworks that does not necessarily denote any relation.

oh the good old days, and don´t worry, nijisanji and hololive still can collab with eachother, but the combination of shyness and a lot of them having zero too no time for collabs because of how much work they have is the issue. hoping in the future we can see more collabs again.

@@s07195 They do still collab, but given the upcoming HoloFes prep, they're not nearly at much liberty to make time for cross company collabs as they did previously.

I love to see watchalongs where the person knows the movie really well. Seeing first-time reactions is fun too, but I love seeing someone (or two people in this case) just go nuts about something they love.

Wow. I didn't know that they did a collab video reaction. I watched Nijisani's video watchalongs and the Hololive watchalongs too for some of the latter movies (Both parts of Avengers 3, infinity war and endgame, as well as a handful of other titles like Doctor Strange and Guardian of the Galaxy)
And now I would love to see them do a watchalong collab of the other Avengers movie. Thank you very much for the translation and now cursing me with that new desire.

I know this kind collab will be much rarer as the time goes on, but Subaru collabing with male Vtubers always been a blast from some old clips I watched. I hope one day she will collab with male Vtubers again, although I can see why she's not anymore since she's very busy nowadays

Man, it's so weird hearing how different Subaru's voice was only like a year and 8ish months ago (assuming this was uploaded shrtly after this watchalong happened that is) it seems so much higher pitched than I recall from 2022.
Subaru's perspective was actually from 2019, the stream was just taken down so I couldn't link it.

Its seriously underappreciated when you think about how often streams just disappear (I still would love to know why one day).

afaik belmond did the watchalong mcu too with among nijisanji members, and last one he did is shangchi (so for anyone who interested to watch, you could see all mcu watchalong stream on belmond's channel)
It's hololive fault they are not idols in the first place the suddenly hololive decide that they gonna be idols
i think its more like they are not as busy and less holo members to collab with.
There's still collabs you know, with the most recent being one with Mika and Risu. HoloFes prep however pretty much whittled down the available slots for cross company collabs.
It's never been because of the gachikoi fans. That's just a narrative that's spread from twitter antis, 4chan and reddit. Same shit with the PekoMiko stuff and that Rushia was doing GFE (if Rushia was doing GFE then so are Korone, Okayu, Lamy, Fauna and every other Yandere and ASMR streamer on the planet). Hololive's stance has always been they don't care. Half the girls don't even collab with each other, most are just too busy doing their own thing. The biggest reason outside collabs don't happen often (as stated by the talents and not by fans) is because management has a screening process for official collabs that most people don't want to go through. It's likely because of sponsorship deals and brand image.

Also, for a Holomem who is an Avengers biggest fan, she almost does no watchalongs compared to Fubuki in the recent times (after the mass vid exodus, dunno before that). Was hoping for more marvel stuffs in Hololive but only Fubuki does it (and Luna but it's behind membership)
Something to keep in mind about Loki is that, while primarily characterized as a schemer/trickster and magician, he's comparable to _Spider-Man_ in terms of raw physical ability and has centuries worth of combat training. Dude is insanely strong when not compared to the likes of Thor or the Hulk, is what I'm basically saying.

Why there is no more NIji and Holo collabs?
I don't think there's any rule against collabs. Most Hololive members are known to have very packed schedules due to idol activities these days though.
@@pekomains There's simply less need for it now too. At this point they kinda had to look elsewhere just to fill the numbers, there was like... a dozen of them? And there wasn't any sort of community spirit, Cover had only just started to provide managers and generations still didn't get to meet before debut.
Now there's loads of people to socialise with, along with a strong group identity that just makes working within the 'tribe' more comfortable and easier to organise.
...there's plenty of "Hololive sucks!" "Nijisanji sucks!" people out there looking for a fight too, so even a hint that you're not respecting another company's talent will cause stupid drama. See... any given collab with vShojo.

Honestly, I saw a collab with Risu (Hololive Indonesia) Mika (ex-NijiID, now it merged with main Niji) while they were playing It Takes Two. So there are collabs, but neither from Japanese and English/Global sides.
