I love Shuri since the first Black Panther, the fact she suffered so much in this movie for losing her family broke me. I cried a lot of time during the movie and even now, watching your video!

I think only a few people understand that she was broken. She had the brain to heal her brother but the world took it from her. She had the tech to prevent her mother from being killed, but the world took it as well. Personally, I view the character development of Shuri to be outstanding, all the path that she ended up taking and all that, and what she ended up getting at the end is just perfect

I’m happy they gave Shuri more credit
The Wakandans, including Shuri still never understood Killmonger’s motivation of anger, even though they’re the ones who abandoned him and took the last thing he had. It was at this moment Shuri got to feel what Killmonger felt all them years. That pain of everything held dearly being taken from him, built his rage and brutality against those who opposed his side of the story. Even T’Challa was on the path of vengeance in Civil War. Shuri literally was becoming what Killmonger was.
