You need to show me how to do tire marKs on asphalt. I think this would be awesome to display model cars.

Awesome job!!!! Can't stress that enough....what type of sand and rock chips did you use?
Thank so much! For the sand you can the cheap playground sand thats available at most hardware stores. For rock chips i recommend using the small rocks you find outside or near your home. (If aquiring the rocks close by is not an option, then look up the woodland scenics range of terrain, rocks and ballast. Woodland Scenics has great products, but it quickly gets expensive. this is why i always recommend using found-bits if possible.)

Thanks to this vid, I made me first diorama… very happy with it!! Much appreciated. Question though… the mix with tile grout, what can be a substitute for Mod podge? After you finish the whole piece, what do use to seal it after completion? Thanks :)
That’s really great to hear! So glad to hear you were able to make your own dio!
I would say there really is no substitution for Mod Podge. It has a proprietary mix that works extremely well for diorama applications. That said, the next best option is simple PVA glue. (i.e, “Elmers glue-all”.) While not as great as Mod Podge, it’s an excellent adhesive that I use all the time in my dioramas. I have mixed it with tile grout plenty of times.
@@metamorphiccustoms ok thanks for the advice, I used the pva to seal the diorama but in the pockets it looks like puddles, but the rest is fine and looks good.
@@pembsposse2621 yes, both PVA and Mod Podge can “pool” if it’s laid on thick in indentations. To fix it, you can either make the pool glossy to represent an actual puddle, or simply go over the area with a thin PVA/grout mix.
