You know that the American version of the RX-7 had a 7000 RPM redline but if you zoom in in the interior it doesn't look like and it is the traditional RX-7 with 8000 RPM. Also it is funny that the RX-8 sound is so similar to the NFS Pro Street's maz_rx7_c.

Mahim Marufuzzaman if you listen to the Patrol car version of the Carrera GT, it’ll have the same sound from the Lexus LFA; for some reason the undercover version of the Carrera has the wrong sound so it’s a bug

There’s just something about the way the cars howl, the pops and cracks from the exhausts and the reverb when driving through a tunnel. The sound design of this game is phenomenal. Not to say that it has a shitty soundtrack, no, I enjoy most of the music that is on here, but for me personally, for this game, the cars are the soundtrack.

imo Nfs Hot Pursuit has the best driving, and damage mechanics out of any nfs game. Like seriously, you can't admit that ramming a racer with a cop car was *incredibly* satisfying. Idk how they did it, but the car ramming, the awesome weapons like spike strip, and the damage was just orgasm worthy
Damage, mechanics? You serious, cracked windows, some scratches and some dents to the hood and bumpers with some deformation. Sure it is better than the recent NFS but the best damage? You have to be joking. NFS Pro Street/Undercover, NFS Shift 2 and even NFS The Run had better damage. No matter how hard you hit your car your tire can't fall off, break the doors or break the side and rear windows. And handling? What is so that good in just tapping and brake and you auto drift through the corners? This is some bs but somehow for this game it fit this style of handling unlike the others with brake to drift. And in my opinion this handling should have stayed in Burnout.

Something I always hated about the sound in this game is the true screeching that happens even when you’re barely on the gas and barely moving. Try it. Even going at just a few miles per hour with zero wheel spin it still plays the screech sound effect. I hope this is fixed with the remastered version
The only problem that is kept from the original to Remastered sound wise is that all Beamers sounds like a I6, Vipers sounds like a V8 and the 918 Spyder Concept Study does NOT have a V12, it has a V8

I've never played 2010 Hot Pursuit before, and I only own a Nintendo Switch, so I'm really looking forward to playing NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered on Switch.
Not buying the remaster because i've still got my Origin version. With an additional forced MSAA + MFAA the game looks still good. I'm more the Underground type, although i've enjoyed this one except the last race Koenigsegg Vs Veyron that car (Veyron) was insane to beat. You realise that both Evo X and GTR use the same sound? It is even funnier that this sound is a from a Nissan Skyline but neither from 4B11T or VQ38DETT.
Many people will disagree with me on this but this is exactly the reason why till this day I believe the Criterion games are more enjoyable and exciting to play than any other NFS games, especially this game. I do understand the controversy behind some of their game design choices and frankly I hate some of the things that Criterion pulled off, it becomes pretty glaring when you're spending hours steering your controller aimlessly and repeatedly being bombarded with the audio outputs. I've played most of the NFS games from Underground and not one game like Hot Pursuit keeps pulling me back and make me feel like I'm playing the game again for the first time ever simply because of the audio engineering. Every other single NFS game feels flat and souless compared to this and I will happily bear the imperfections that the game contains. This is what gives of the excitement of cars: the excitement of hearing engines rumbling through your ears, giving you feelings that resonate with you forever. A beautiful car without the proper engine is as good as nothing; it's simply a concept that fails to become realized and that applies the same to racing games of NFS's nature.
I don't know why but the sounds kinda feels here muted. In NFS MW 2012 there are better, also the turbo effects in NFS HP 2010 are almost non-existant. Take an example how quiet is the turbo of the Audi TT RS while NFS 2015/Heat and NFS Pro Street had way better turbo effects even NFS U1 had better turbo effects than NFS HP 2010
@@pradhanasurya8004 Well, I knew that already but I mean really on 5 months comment? I mean I changed the opinion about NFS MW 2012 it isn't that bad but still not that great as the NFS MW 2005. But with everyday I like NFS MW 2005 less and less cause it is super overrated NFS and mainly the fanbase makes me to dislike NFS MW 2005. And it isn't that special like it used to sure mods and other stuff but again every NFS has some good sides (even the most flawed ones like NFS Payback or NFS Undercover lol). And yeah only if NFS MW 2012 was like the beta version I would like it more.

Many people will disagree with me on this but this is exactly the reason why till this day I believe the Criterion games are more enjoyable and exciting to play than any other NFS games, especially this game. I do understand the controversy behind some of their game design choices and frankly I hate some of the things that Criterion pulled off, it becomes pretty glaring when you're spending hours steering your controller aimlessly and repeatedly being bombarded with the audio outputs. I've played most of the NFS games from Underground and not one game like Hot Pursuit keeps pulling me back and make me feel like I'm playing the game again for the first time ever simply because of the audio engineering. Every other single NFS game feels flat and souless compared to this and I will happily bear the imperfections that the game contains. This is what gives of the excitement of cars: the excitement of hearing engines rumbling through your ears, giving you feelings that resonate with you forever. A beautiful car without the proper engine is as good as nothing; it's simply a concept that fails to become realized and that applies the same to racing games of NFS's nature.
I don't know why but the sounds kinda feels here muted. In NFS MW 2012 there are better, also the turbo effects in NFS HP 2010 are almost non-existant. Take an example how quiet is the turbo of the Audi TT RS while NFS 2015/Heat and NFS Pro Street had way better turbo effects even NFS U1 had better turbo effects than NFS HP 2010
HP might be a good game but we need to have atleast a remake Blackbox game by another company. This wasn't necessary.

I mean I changed the opinion about NFS MW 2012 it isn't that bad but still not that great as the NFS MW 2005. But with everyday I like NFS MW 2005 less and less cause it is super overrated NFS and mainly the fanbase makes me to dislike NFS MW 2005. And it isn't that special like it used to sure mods and other stuff but again every NFS has some good sides (even the most flawed ones like NFS Payback or NFS Undercover lol).
And yeah only if NFS MW 2012 was like the beta version I would like it more.
