In this video Heimler reviews everything you need to know about AP World History Unit 9 Topic 2 (9.2) which is about various ways globalization has created the conditions for the spread of disease after 1900. Because of transportation technologies, pandemics spread more rapidly than ever before, and because some populations are living longer, the prevalence of diseases associated with old age is in the rise. Additionally, because of the world's unequal distribution of wealth and access to healthcare, several curable diseases still persist among economically impoverished populations.
If anybody remembers but it has been nearly half a decade since the start of COVID.
me who just started unit 7:
?????
What does this mean
Hey Heimler, your videos are incredible and are a great help to students. Could you please do AP Comparative Governement, such as watermelonindianboi pointed out, because there is little to no material available on RUclips about this course. Also, could you please do it so your channel could have all the social studies courses?
For the school year can u do AP comp Gov plsss❤❤
Do we need to know about covid because on the test description it only goes up to 2001
Technically yes, but to answer your question, no. You only need to know up to 2000. However, you can use examples of modern-day events as part of your SAQs, LEQs.
COVID is listed as an illustrative example of the spread of disease, so it's not required. So you can use Influenza, Ebola, HIV/AIDS, or COVID to illustrate the spread of disease in the global age.
Won't come up in the MCQs, but you can use it for the free-response sections as evidence if it's ever relevant to what the prompt is asking about
it could be a good way to earn a complexity point on a dbq or leq about disease
Are we really allowed to use Covid on SAQs, DBQs, LEQs, ect.? I don’t remember it being mentioned in the textbook…
First view and like
please dont milk my brain cow
Like the spread of disease would happen in this day and age 😐
