@@optimistickrishiv843 hey! I would definitely study for the SAQ’s, they were a little difficult for me because of the topics and formatting my answers. the DBQ is good, just make sure you separate your sources into sections (like causation, impact, economic and social effects) to help you reference them when creating your thesis. If you can blow out the LEQ quickly, I would definitely save that for last. Although I did begin to run out of time on the LEQ, so really work on memorizing events and their long and short term effects and the causes behind them.
@@kjewelb7209 I’m gonna be honest here, I stopped reading the book and just read notes and watched RUclips videos on the topics, how do u think I should go about studying for this.
@@optimistickrishiv843 definitely take practice tests on each time period to see what you should really double down on, there are plenty of them out there! I used Albert, varsity tutors, highschooltestprep, and collegeboard resources. continue to update yourself on the topics and find charts that specify the wars & who was involved and key topics of every unit/time period. I would also make sure you read the rubric for each essay. by figuring out how you can get points for each essay, it helps make writing it easier (like you need a contextualization point, so make sure you practice/read about how to summarize the event/time period the question is asking you in the introduction)

i didn’t take ap euro, but i want to learn its contents to be prepared for APUSH, how would you recommend i do so?
Great question. AP Euro content and APUSH do not really overlap, so you should limit your time using AP Euro materials for the APUSH course. Your main focus should be on topics that affect both continents, including the Enlightenment and World War I and World War II.

is it necessary for me to know world history? I took world history during the summer over a 4 week period and I don’t really remember anything…
World history can help aid your understanding of European history, but it isn't a prerequisite for the course.

When I was growing up, and after I learned to read, I was literally thrilled to be able to read for free - thanks to libraries. Most of what I learned, I learned from independent reading. I still love books. I think it is a shame that kids are too busy with social media to spend time reading books. Wow! What a world opened up to me. I devoured books. I became a great speller as a result of so much reading. There is nothing like your own imagination which reading provides.

This video is only an overview of the topic, so not all issues are addressed in depth. You are right that the Atlantic Slave Trade is a part of Unit 1.
