As a deeply uninteresting person, I found this interesting.
We love to hear this
Same 😭
I love the direction that Miles’ content is going in. The editing is top notch and there’s a sincerity to each video while also being fucking hilarious. And if Jay has no fans, I’m dead
Yesss I’m a fan of Jay and all of Miles friends. You can tell they’re really close and the dynamic is 🤌🏼
its kinda comforting to know someone that i find to be deeply unique and interesting also feels this way. maybe we are all more interesting than we think ??? wild if true
this is too much 😫but i hope so
Miles, you inspired me to branch out from my regular chai beverage to a cha cha slide today and I think that is the most interesting thing I’ve done recently. Thank you!
This is so sweet. Now you've inspired me to do something "interesting" today too!
YESSSSSS
Was it good??
@@WayOverThePondI made it myself and I definitely added too much oil 😂
@@anikaxmeisel Oil?? I was convinced a cha cha was half matcha, half chai
okay I just want to say this and I’m not trying to eat out of your ass here (sorry), but I want to make it known to you, Miles, that you have had a massive impact on my ability to socialise, problem solve and literally just exist more comfortably. You are genuinely so witty and wise and have a mind that’s actually fascinating! I’ve never been able to act from a place of authenticity in the way that I do now, and I will say I do genuinely contribute a lot of this to your podcast and the other content of yours that I consume. My partner and I literally think you’re one of, if not, the funniest, wittiest people we’ve come across. And I know being funny isn’t everything, but you also have the ability to evoke happiness in others whilst also creating fire content that sticks and makes you ponder and I think that’s pretty fricking cool. Anyway, I haven’t finished the video so I’m not sure if the narrative evolves, but I just wanted to say, don’t ever worry about whether or not you’re interesting enough for this world. I promise you you’re making waves in ways you don’t even know about yet. Never stop being you. That’s the most interesting version 🤍
This video is an editing and storytelling masterclass. It's literally just you hanging out with your friends and discussing a fairly vague and grandiose topic and yet it's hilarious and fun in every single second. Even profound! I loved it. Thanks Miles!
I’ll always remember you talking about grief on Perfect Person and how you had to make a choice to be a happy person, and that was so interesting to me and helped me through so much of my own grief! Plus, anyone who is/has ever been a barista is also interesting Miles.
consuming should count as an interesting thing to do!!!😭
Hard agree!!
Totes speaking for myself here but I wouldn't mind hearing about your Dad's cross-country busking trip. That sounds insane
I second this! It sounds amazing. Its a podcast in itself.
Miles, I came out as gay early pandemie and now I'm in public for the first time, feeling like the Cyclops, freshly blinded by Odysseus, thrashing around with no clue who I am or what I'm doing. It's awful and it's also great! I have no solutions for you! I loved the video and found it highly relatable though!
Im always scared that my very specific interests are boring to others.
im really enjoying this intersection of comedy, authenticity and reflection/introspection. This video gave me about time vibes and I say that as someone who also loves that movie, Miles
this is the kind of content that leaves me feeling better than I did before watching and that's hard to find love ya miles
With how interesting your dad is you should consider doing a podcast with him like Dispatches from Myrtle Beach with Link and his dad. It be so… well interesting!! 🤩
at least an ep of PP!
Oh, Miles. The way you summarize an amazing complex question is amazing. I really think people overestimate “interesting” personalities nowadays and forget to just like whatever they like or so. Really. Been thinking about that a lot. Love your way of translating our thoughts in videos, thats a pretty interesting thing about you :)
“An eye open to life and an ear tuned to curiosity” somebody get this man an AWARD for that line 😂
the most epic storytelling. the way you wove in all the little moments was so smart. can't wait for more!!!!
"I'm tired and what I like is to consume"
Nailed it
Such a cool concept for a video!!
Congrats on the soon-to-be 100k!
Haha so unreal TBH!!! Would have KILLED to get that Hundo when I first started making stuff
Well deserved!! Now onto that sweet sweet milly 🤩
I hadnt read a book in years either, and then i found dog the bounty hunter's "autobiography" at a garage sale for a quarter. It reignited my interest in reading honestly 10/10 recommended for the entertainment. Happy reading!!
nothing happened in this video. A+
I resonate with this so much! I spent basically all of my life doing school, working, or consuming content. When I got out of college and joined my full time job I had to give a 10 minute presentation about myself to the team and man did I STRUGGLE because I had 0 hobbies 🙃 a year later I’m not much closer to figuring out hobbies that aren’t just hanging out with friends and consuming content
Things that pop into my mind about about Miles:
- being the coolest daddy to Julian
- coffee
- mechanical keyboards
- really good advices
- partying
- cooking
- being new to music! :))
MY STRUGGLE fr
Would you ever consider a Perfect Person deep dive series? You know so many interesting people, have interesting guests on the pod and clearly the comments suggest people want to know about your dad’s story. Even some of the callers are ridiculously intriguing and I’m left wanting to know more beyond the call-in topic if they are down (legit still think about the girl with the diss tracks about her frequently). If I want interesting on a grand scale I can pay for the masterclass series I keep getting ads for (honestly I might). Interesting on a regular, intriguing, relatable and sometimes attainably inspiring scale is just as interesting.
Also this style of video is so good, compliments to the chef
This video made me realize that both myself and my life are extremely interesting, thank you Miles.
i love the pure chaos driven by miles and im here for the entire ride
Love seeing your subscribers growing ❤
you're a great storyteller miles! tysm for this video!
This is giving Nathan Fielder but more.. sincere? Idk if that makes sense but I dig it. Keep it up, Miles👏🏼
i LOVE YOUR EDITING STYLE SO MUCH I am so bad at watching any long form content(longer than 5 minutes) and I watched this all and was captivated
Very relatable. Keep up the content! Love it
I love how your videos have felt so cozy and genuine.
Keep kicking ass with this amazing content Miles! Proud of you!
Here’s to 100k in the very near future sir!
loving this new style of video! can’t wait to join you on this new chapter of miles nation❤️
I love this new direction in Miles' content
Great video Miles. Lots to think about. Very... Interesting.
Great video!!
Practical traveling on a tight budget content is needed! Cheap places to stay in the US and maybe abroad, good food, fun activities etc. It still leans into consuming but also educational ☺️
This is actually so heartwarming. Also, hi Jay!! Love Jay on the perfect person pod. He’s a great listener and gives good advice
This video is really good. It sorta touches on an internal conflict I had growing up about my personality and who I am. The external perception of being a "cool" or "interesting" put a lot of pressure on me to figure out who I was growing up (which was very scary as someone learning who they are). I'm doing research on this social experience right now bc I feel like it extends to a lot more of us than we like to admit. I think I'd like to use this video as a resource for that
Golden content, thank you RUclips for recommending me this super interesting guy! Subscribed excited to see more ❤❤❤
This video fills me with such a lovely feeling of hope, in myself, the world, and in others
Wow. Clicked onto this just because I watch all things Miles without question, and was genuinely and unexpectedly moved. Great work ❤
Miles videos are the refeshing content that I didnt know I was craving
Loving the content Miles!
His solo content is sooooooo good
I find your interest in tinkering pretty interesting! I need your recommendation for a mechanical keyboard, miles!
The editing 🔥😂
another day, another masterpiece. Congrats on 100 000 subscribers!
The inspirational music over the warheads is hysterical to me hahaha
Miles just literally creating a video of his existential thoughts (i.e. 'am I interesting?'), and I'm here for it
I hate that every video you have that I see on your channel that I'm like "damn! I want to watch that" has WAY less views that the clickbait-sillyboy stuff. I appreciate you putting creative self our there in a variety of ways
this was such a lovely experience to watch
Taking 5 minutes to write down my interests, complete creative reset.
Good work fellas!
For years now, I've not been sure when I'm having fun...so figuring out my interests? Impossible.
everything u post is very relatable to meeeee
As someone who just recently got back into reading, I started reading solely smutty books and now I’m too embarrassed to talk about my reading interests with people 😂😂😂
This just became a comedians in cars getting coffee episode so gradually and unexpectedly hahaha.
"like check out this rash" LMAOOOOOOOO
dude having stress dreams that all his fish were dying was so funny
Miles, you are interesting, and because of that you are creative . I can't wait to consume all the funny little anything's you make.
this quote i heard growing up really stuck with me: to be interesting, be interested!
we've needed u miles
Ok this was so sweet 🥲
Omg I loved this
Why is this so wholesome and nice ❤
Top-tier content, Miles 😂
Your dad sounds awesome! When we had our first kid, my husband was still a travelling musician and we thought about going nomadic with our baby so he could tour and the baby and I could see all the places he went to. Would you consider doing a road trip video series with Julian and Sarah? Travelling anywhere by any means for any distance with someone under the age of 4 is immediately interesting to me. 😅
As a person who is having a bad mental health time, this video had me look inside myself and decide to try to be less hard on myself
damn, how did this turn out to be so wholesome in the end :')
also, glad i'm here to see you hit 100k!!
Reminds me of Bo Burnam the way you deliver ideas but also different from him and I find that very interesting 🧐
oh no i'm smiling!
Ok I’m fucking loving this content, leshgooo Miles, the music the cinematography the viiibes, the laughs, tis immaculate 👍
usually i find your videos very uninteresting. but because this one had the word interesting in the title, i was actually very interested. keep up the good work!
I like the buzzfeed exercise even outside of content creation. Just to kind of take stock of what I do outside of social media and streaming. Make sure I’m still a person inside. Somewhere.
if yall ever want to do a fun lil thought experiment, do the silly buzzfeed thing and write down your interests for 5 minutes. eventually it stops being "diy crafts" and starts being "the life and impact of leon trotsky". its a neat trip through your own brain
Love this
You should have asked Sarah - I find her super interesting and funny. Sometimes all you need is funny.
Oh wow this topic hits home
This is stunning
I think you found your "thing". Ask the hard questions with interesting people. Think armchair expert meets comedians in cars getting coffee. Thats what you should do.
Love you Miles, keep up the great work! I have noticed though in some of your videos that certain shots are wobbly and weirdly distorted sometimes. Wondering if that is coming from one particular camera or setting?
Its the lens! I shoot with this fixed super wide angle 16mm lens, and it distorts the edges because the lens doesnt have a stabilizer.
I thiiiiiiink i can fix it with a camera setting. I appreciate the heads up, and wanna make sure the shots are buttery smooth for the next one!
“Fades away pretty immediately“ 😂😂
"what about me mannn" 😂
you ARE interesting Miles, that's why you have such a loyal following from the Nation O7
we need father bonsignore on the pod
The stress dreams about not being able to care for your fish are SO REA, like, you gotta stay ON TOP of that shit bc you often don't get much warning that your fish aren't okay before they're dead
What an interesting video
Great video Miles, definitely wanna hear about your Dad (Pa) cause what??
It’s funny because you ARE interesting but I can understand if you have a dilemma with how to make tons of content and have things and accomplishments to talk about out in the world. Interests vs being interesting is interesting 🧐
Please make a 2015 style thank you video when you hit 100k
I actually love this. But I also love that your dad was accidentally part of a robbery meanwhile you are eating warheads in the car 🤣🤣 this is the content I’m here for. Because the most interesting thing about myself is the fact that I’m watching this video 😅
Congratulations 🍾 on getting 100K subscribers ❤😅
I really missed Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. This new season seems promising
You’re the most interesting person because we can all relate to you. You are perfect. Perfect person.
i relate to the intro a LOT about your dad! I'm 23 and ive always been so safe... because my parents did the wild stuff or we hear about the wild stuff and you're like oh - don't do that you'll break your arm - and now i'm sitting here at 23 and i have never broken a bone. so now i'm like oh, but... people break do their bones, it happens. its fine if i break my wrist, i'll be okay (thanks canadian health care) why haven't i barrel rolled out of a car before? am i not interesting? OR am i interesting in new ways, because i do group things at my college and get good grades? hmmmm
I enjoyed this video, but I also felt that it was somewhat unsatisfying because it went right up to the line of being true social/generational commentary without actually being that for the sake of keeping the video light-hearted. If one day Miles actually wanted to do something more serious and share his thoughts on some of the big problems in our society today, I would be all for that, interesting or not :)
This is interesting!! Haha but yes the question of “do I make this a silly goofy” or “do I get #real” is one I think about a lot. Definitely happy to get more genuine on the channel!
Your ex-boss hit you with their car on purpose and that's interesting.
