I’m a truck driver and I buy parts from eBay while I’m on the road all the time and recently got burned on a mITX Z390 board. It was over a month after I got it before I got home and when I went to test it the socket had dozens of bent pins. I took the risk since there were no pictures of the socket without the cover but the description said working. Typically I don’t even bother with boards that don’t have pictures of the socket. When I go home at Christmas I get to try straightening all the pins in the socket.
Scored a heck of a deal on a Black Friday sale today on eBay a liquidator had 11 Asus ROG Strix 4060 TI's for $200, $223 out the door. Accepting returns and everything, so I'm pretty happy with that that should make it good gift for my daughter's Christmas. Finally get rid of her 1060, 3 gig.
After building in that case, I added some feet I 3d printed to let the gpu breather a bit easier. Nice job building in that case....tight is an understatement.
I bought the "black" version of the case. I ordered some mesh from Amazon and cut the mesh that came with magnetic tape to fit the side for ventilation. You cannot tell unless you pick up the case that it is held on with the tape and it helps ventilation tremendously. I actually bought another version of the case. One of them has USB3 and one does not. I put a 4600G with a very small OEM HP 5500 GPU, with 4gb of memory. Runs Elden Ring pretty well and other Esports type games. You really need a modular PSU but even with one of those there is no room for cables.
Thank you! I love these videos dealing with the X-99 motherboards from China. There are tons of videos dealing with the pros and cons of such a build, and I am glad that, for the most part, worked out for you.
Those Chinese x99 boards typically have an adapter ring for the HSF. I bought the white version of the Soyo Dragon 580. I used a lot of Soyo back in the day when I worked at a computer store. I actually like that little case.
no offence bud but fk temu and their toxic products!!! there are several other reasons you shouldn't support temu and shein but the health risks are by far the most note worthy
I got a GREAT Black Friday deal at a local pc store. New Ryzen 5600x/cooler sealed in the box for $99 Cdn ($72 U.S). I bought 2 of them to replace the 3600's cpu's in 2 pc's I own.
2:45 lmao 7:45 dual cpu action with dual aio lesgo! 17:54 i think it's not from hp prebuilt. the HyperX is acquired by hp from kingston last recent years iirc. as always nice interactive video!
ill check out temu then for my next budget build i been buildinfor about 2 yrs now and im loving it havent made much money yet but the learning is the main reason why i switched from consoles my main rig has a asus tufb550 mb 5800X3D 32gig ram gskill 7800xt red devil amd gpu 1000watt psu and i finally just build a small itx that i been dreaming for for awhile gigbyte b500i ax mini itx mb 16gig ram 3200 mhz r5 3600 and a evga 600wat mint itx psu and a 1660s also built my gfs shrs got a nice setup r75800x and a rx 7600xt .. long story short im enjoying every build i wanna build pcs for a living this is my dream ..
If i being correct, the difference is the ring, upon you mount your cou cooler. If you could find one in your garage, the Temu cooler would work. Apparently, someone already mentioned it.😊
AliExpress has AM4 bundles $100-130. They come with a b450 mobo, ryzen 5 3600, and 2x8 16gb memory. B450 machinist $40 new. I bought that board to try it. Supports overclocking and 5000 series. Just has no heat sinks on vrm so max oc sends temps through roof. But it didn’t throttle.
I’d get a e5 1660v4 which is an 8C/16T CPU with a base clock of 3.2GHz and can be found on eBay for around $40. The 1650v4 is a 6C/12T that is a little easier to come by.
29:15 It's probably and RX 580 2048SP which is more an RX570 with a slight overclock. (~40 MHz). TDP is therefore only 150 Watt. It meant to compete with the GTX 1060 5 GB (yes, 5 GB) in China's cyber cafes but most of them just ended up in some mining rig.
ive seen those AM3 sping clip coolers used for alot of china clone xeon motherboards, its very common, tho stereoptyically either in the cooler box or in the motherboard box or purchase separately you need something called a 2011 AMD Bracket Adapter which is a plastic ring and it has the amd hooks on all four side, it comes with 4 tiny bolts, throw the plastic ring on, bolt it up, then you can use supposedly any amd cooler modern or retro amd and clip that bad boy on
I cannot tell if it says WARSPARROW (what is a war sparrow?), or WARPARROW. The motherboard screws directly to the side of the case. You can put an 80mm and I think a 92mm fan will fit as well. That is why I got the VERY SHORT OEM 5500 (did not know it was an HP OEM until I was looking up the specs). I got it for $80 off of FB marketplace.
I was worried about the VRMs on my Ali board so I opted for a pancake cooler. Wish that you would’ve went into the SMART Fan settings a bit more. I still haven’t figured mine out.
i just ordered the Gigabyte C500 Panoramic Stealth Ice ATX Midi Tower 4x ARGB Fan Tempered Glass RGB PC Case - White never had a gigabyte case before looks nice
If you put feet on the bottom of the case would be a little cooler as it is at the moment the case is flat on your bench so limited air coming in from the bottom
yeah i have a Huananzhi X99-F8D PLUS v1.2 based system as a backup hdd server, it runs Dual lntel Xeon E5 2690 V4 CPUs, thats a Aliexpress Motherboard, Quad Channel however doesnt work or i wouldve had 128GB not 64GB DDR4 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance, games fairly well with an old Asus Arez 8GB RX580. lol that was tight getting that GPU and Power Supply in that small case.
man i wish i have the same prices on psu here in the philippines but most seller in marketplace around me sell theirs for like 80% of srp. great video though hope to see more
Wow I got the cpu fan brackit for mine even thought it was amd it had that brackit for it the cpu was in the board and another amd bracket fan set up on it I patd 70 for mine
Temu and Ali Express dont tend to like posting heavy items hence the lack of PSUs. The 580s on the chinese sites tend to be SP2048 models thats slightly slower than a full fat 580, probably running at the rate of a 570. The full fat 580 has 2304 shader cores the SP2048 has 2048 shader cores as does the RX 570. The motherboard you have is either an X79 or X99 looking at position of RAM so thats socket 2011 which can be a limiting factor on cpu upgrade path. You might be better off with one of the many B75 boards that gives you 2nd and 3rd gen intel 1155 cpus (max of i7 2700 / 3770).
I do not believe that the CPU has enough have speed to drive the GPU hard enough to produce the temps you were expecting. I saw the overlay with the CPU at 100 percent and the GPU only at 15 percent.
If you're buying your PC components off Temu or Ali Express then you get exactly what you pay for. I'd rather take my chances at an E-Waste facility or GoodWill.
Good video. I don't know if I would do this build if I only had $300. (I can see why someone would.) I think I would rather go with a weaker i7 6700/7700 and rtx 2070 etc. Less cpu and more gpu.
There's no such thing as a "new* RX580. It's a rebuilt PCB using an old mining die from the halycon days of Ethereum. With absolutely 0 warranty, do not pay £30 for one, let alone $80.
To your core/base question - is this computer worth $300? No . The upgrade path is very narrow and any additional money would not transfer "up" into something actually newer. My other requirement if you're going Windows - has to support 11. Using 10 is un-wise as the support from MS is gone. Would be curious to see some Linux OS gaming tests to see about longevity.
Now at some point in your videos I will bug you lol as stated before I like your videos and how you do things wish I can pick up some of the items you find for those prices bit jealous lol not enough peeps here to have a very section of parts at good prices
Thanks for buying this stuff so we don't have to! i think at 32$ that claustrophobic case is an absolute ripoff, i've gotten much better cases used for less! u can't even install a 2.5" let alone a 3.5" or 5.25" device. To me, upgradability is a big advantage of desktops so that case kinda takes it away.
I don't want to say anything but because of such strange names of PC parts someone proved that e.g. graphic cards do not have any settings available for change even fans are permanently set without the option of changing their speed. Or changes in card overclocking etc. So I don't even want to know what's with these motherboards these unnamed parts strange names I wonder how long such parts will work. Supposedly cheap but everything is made without the option of modification or setting for your own needs not to mention that most programs do not even recognize the parts in the PC.
thats my main computer it came with 16 gigs for 70 bucks I did get the power supply but I didnt listen to toasty bros my regret but the only thing I have is the video card I have to repast
There are TWO kinds of them X99 motherboards. If you want to check the kind you got - the chipset is the key. smart man modifying that nvidia socket to an amd socket lol. for 300bucks i dont think ull do any better then this tbh. i meen if you went 2nd hand i still doubt you would get better also then you have to clean everything make sure every things good all the normal stuff that requires more time then its worth. that case is awful but kinda kool aswell lol
The only issue I have with this build is the color of the case. I absolutely can’t stand pastel colors, especially this particular shade. It reminds me of a dinnerware set my wife once bought-four plates, bowls, and coffee cups in the same color. The plates made any food look completely unappetizing. You could serve a perfectly cooked ribeye steak, and it would somehow look terrible on those plates. Of course, this is just my personal opinion. Otherwise, you did a fantastic job! Oh, and as for the dinnerware… let’s just say it eventually met with a series of unfortunate "accidents."
Yes, the RX 580 8gb are good GPU hate the fact that AMD at same point will cut driver support, but I think I've sent you a link in older video to Sourceforge for AMD older drivers

Ready to see what you can do with a dual Xeons machine. HP z840 is what I've been looking to buy and upgrade.
I’m a truck driver and I buy parts from eBay while I’m on the road all the time and recently got burned on a mITX Z390 board. nice score!!
That 1060 I would frame and hang on my room.
You could use the old rig as a NAS or home server if you;'re into that
Anyway, it's a great deal tho.
Been watching this channel for months now not realizing I'm not yet subbed, just hit that button now😅
I like this casual format a lot, you seem pretty chill and cool. Subbed!
After building in that case, I added some feet I 3d printed to let the gpu breather a bit easier. Nice job building in that case....tight is an understatement.
Nice thing about a cheap case is you don't have to be afraid to cut extra ventilation with some Homer Simpson speed holes. 😂
My first came so smashed in got it refunded and ordered again and gosh I wish I had used a modular psu it was hard to manage everything in there
I bought the "black" version of the case. I ordered some mesh from Amazon and cut the mesh that came with magnetic tape to fit the side for ventilation. You cannot tell unless you pick up the case that it is held on with the tape and it helps ventilation tremendously. I actually bought another version of the case. you're getting sponsors now, congrats bro!
Thank you for highlighting these niches-finding great deals and builds through these types of websites is indeed very interesting!
Yes for a dual CPU setup. Great video as usual, cheers!
Nice! At this prizepoint I was suprised to see the numbers. But I would like to know what the temps are when the case is closed. 😊
Tech by Matt just put out a video of a $200 custom build. It's worth a looksee
Those Chinese x99 boards typically have an adapter ring for the HSF. I bought the white version of the Soyo Dragon 580. I used a lot of Soyo back in the day when I worked at a computer store. I actually like that little case.
Back in the day Soyo used to manufacture their own parts, mainly Motherboards, now they only use old parts and rebuild based on what I have seen.
no offence bud but fk temu and their toxic products!!!
there are several other reasons you shouldn't support temu and shein but the health risks are by far the most note worthy
Yea that paint probably had more lead in it then a case of shotgun shells
Temu gathers those data and sell em, next day you'll get texts about playing bingo online lmao.
Couldn't find the case brav
Great build none the less
That cooler is right. You need to use the mounting ring that comes with that motherboard and it will snap right on
I got a GREAT Black Friday deal at a local pc store. New Ryzen 5600x/cooler sealed in the box for $99 Cdn ($72 U.S). I bought 2 of them to replace the 3600's cpu's in 2 pc's I own.

You did well for the budget allotted; I'd pay that for it.
ill check out temu then for my next budget build i been buildinfor about 2 yrs now and im loving it havent made much money yet but the learning is the main reason why i switched from consoles my main rig has a asus tufb550 mb 5800X3D 32gig ram gskill 7800xt red devil amd gpu 1000watt psu and i finally just build a small itx that i been dreaming for for awhile gigbyte b500i ax mini itx mb 16gig ram 3200 mhz r5 3600 and a evga 600wat mint itx psu and a 1660s also built my gfs shrs got a nice setup r75800x and a rx 7600xt .. long story short im enjoying every build i wanna build pcs for a living this is my dream ..
I had that case in black, terrible for a decent processor but you learn to work with what you can afford.
Cheap cases are cool because you don't feel bad cutting holes in it for extra ventilation 😂
why did it have zen 3 on the motherboard box when its an intel motherboard, I'm sure zen 3 relates to amd motherboards
it has an nvidia socket too 😂
If i being correct, the difference is the ring, upon you mount your cou cooler.
If you could find one in your garage, the Temu cooler would work.

See swinging, I have few of those head lamps very handy
Well that was pretty good for the price thanks
Yeah that case looks TIGHT, but not too bad for that form factor. Well done!!
Why did the AMD RX580 come in box with Nvidia branding?
The same reason the motherboard box had Zen 3 when it's a Intel Xeon socket. Because reading is hard and false advertising is easy. 😂
And it's not even a 580, that's the 470 chip.
I wondered about this case. It looks much smaller than the picture makes it seem.
I have that same green case! Got it off amazon, its a tight space lol.
ive seen those AM3 sping clip coolers used for alot of china clone xeon motherboards, its very common, tho stereoptyically either in the cooler box or in the motherboard box or purchase separately you need something called a 2011 AMD Bracket Adapter which is a plastic ring and it has the amd hooks on all four side, it comes with 4 tiny bolts, throw the plastic ring on, bolt it up, then you can use supposedly any amd cooler modern or retro amd and clip that bad boy on
At least you can order it.
I can't even see it ,as much i trying - no computer on Temu is shown.
Damn that case is very tight.
One of the first things I would do in the Bios is check the actual brand and capacity of that NVMe drive. I've read of too many scams.
I was worried about the VRMs on my Ali board so I opted for a pancake cooler.
Wish that you would’ve went into the SMART Fan settings a bit more. I still haven’t figured mine out.
is the cooler going to work?
Zen 3 with an Xeon CPU and an Nvidia socket!! Nice!! Wait, WTF??
i just ordered the Gigabyte C500 Panoramic Stealth Ice ATX Midi Tower 4x ARGB Fan Tempered Glass RGB PC Case - White never had a gigabyte case before looks nice
I would watch a video of you getting and testing a motherboard with duel CPUs.
Yea cool to see dual CPU MB
If you disable hyperthreading the cpu can boost higher, definitely helps get some single core performance out of x99 many core cpus.
I built almost that same computer except I used a X79 motherboard
man i wish i have the same prices on psu here in the philippines but most seller in marketplace around me sell theirs for like 80% of srp. great video though hope to see more
where are you that you can get a noctua cooler for $10.00?
Upside down🤔flip the case over?
why not put a fan on the back?
Not a bad set-up for the price. Dont know if id buy stuff off of Temu, but still pretty cool.
Soyo RX 580 are generally rebuilt ex mining cards, and only 2048SP.
K400+, the best at what it does.
Why I hate working with small cases and fan of that colour, but I can work with it if I'm selling the PC
Is the Ram sever Ram?
Wow I got the cpu fan brackit for mine even thought it was amd it had that brackit for it the cpu was in the board and another amd bracket fan set up on it I patd 70 for mine
Recently picked up a b450m and a R5-5500 for $100-110 on aliexpress

i think you have a RX 580-2048SP witch is like a RX 570 performance
I just built 2 pcs in that exact case, doing gpu gymnastics is par for the course lol
this is a solid deal but probably this pc will only last for like 3 years and 5 max
Lol used that same case had to order it twice because the first one came smashed in. Very cheap case but it works
Good day sir
xeon v3 2133 . V4 2400 mhz support . I have a dual 2699 v3 setup its ntb .
that was a bit of a big PSU for that case wasn't it LOL
I do not believe that the CPU has enough have speed to drive the GPU hard enough to produce the temps you were expecting. I saw the overlay with the CPU at 100 percent and the GPU only at 15 percent.
That RX580 basically is one of the 8GB RX570s.
which is a reworked RX470 etc
HA! The PSU orange matches the motherboard orange LOL.
If you're buying your PC components off Temu or Ali Express then you get exactly what you pay for. I'd rather take my chances at an E-Waste facility or GoodWill.

I want a tramp stamp that says nvidia socket now.
Never seen a 6 pin RX 580
Thanks for buying this stuff so we don't have to! i think at 32$ that claustrophobic case is an absolute ripoff, i've gotten much better cases used for less! u can't even install a 2.5" let alone a 3.5" or 5.25" device. lol Zen 3 on an intel CPU amazing what those crazy Chinnesse can do these days
I rigged out a 2013 hp 8300 computer and put a ddr3 16 gb ram 500 gb ssd and 6 gb rtx 3050 NVidia graphics card and i can play all games on it
.....Nvcidia socket....when Nvdia releases its cpu....you'll be ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are TWO kinds of them X99 motherboards.
If you want to check the kind you got - the chipset is the key.
Some boards made with 'recovered' server chipsets, that kind DO support qwad channel memory.
Some other, that use the aghm 'recovered' usual motherboard chipsets, you would get only dual channel.
Or,and you should go for an ECC memory!!
Yea, those Rx 580 are a bit downsized from original Rx 580
The thing that scares me away from Temu computer parts is driver support.
That mobo is overpriced imo. 100$ for a no-name board that supports 2016 processors?
Seen similar if not the same board on Amazon for for like 80 + shipping.
AliExpress does have x99 boards for $30 to $40 sometimes. This ain't it lol but I've bought a couple before.
$50 max.
@@frogslayer4849 Yeah i bought computer parts from Ali too,in my experience they have more choices and better prices when it comes to computer parts. i was even able to find 3rd and 4th gen i7 processors for 12$ which was a great price for those processors
lol
Better at saying that name brand of SSD, I would butcher it lol
smart man modifying that nvidia socket to an amd socket lol. for 300bucks i dont think ull do any better then this tbh. i meen if you went 2nd hand i still doubt you would get better also then you have to clean everything make sure every things good all the normal stuff that requires more time then its worth. that case is awful but kinda kool aswell lol

That case is horrible.
Lol it is but I love mine
Mike,you kinda wrong??
99 percent of this pc IS new ,and you calling it old???
the rx "580" really is the king of budget gaming
