Game Information
Ghostrunner offers a unique single-player experience: fast-paced, violent combat, and an original setting that blends science fiction with post-apocalyptic themes. It tells the story of a world that has already ended and its inhabitants who fight to survive.
Ghostrunner is a hardcore FPP slasher packed with lightning-fast action, set in a grim, cyberpunk megastructure. Climb Dharma Tower, humanity’s last shelter, after a world-ending cataclysm. Make your way up from the bottom to the top, confront the tyrannical Keymaster, and take your revenge.
The streets of this tower city are full of violence. Mara the Keymaster rules with an iron fist and little regard for human life.
As resources diminish, the strong prey on the weak and chaos threatens to consume what little order remains. The decisive last stand is coming. A final attempt to set things right before mankind goes over the edge of extinction.
As the most advanced blade fighter ever created, you’re always outnumbered but never outclassed. Slice your enemies with a monomolecular katana, dodge bullets with your superhuman reflexes, and employ a variety of specialized techniques to
prevail.
One-hit one-kill mechanics make combat fast and intense. Use your superior mobility (and frequent checkpoints!) to engage in a never-ending dance with death fearlessly.

I like this game, the developers have understood that for a linear game in 2022 to be good it has to have original and dynamic mechanics, an environment that you can interact with in various ways and that the gameplay is simple yet challenging, of the "easy to learn but hard to master" type. I also like the fact that it shows you the path to follow with a Mirror's Edge style color, in this case yellow

This was one of the best game ive ever played. i had around 32000 deaths by the completion in one and a half month.i also completed the project hel DLC. definitely had more deaths i had than the campaign of dark souls.

@@dogeccam i am currently playing it and i have mixed feelings about this game. I've never played any souls game before so this game is going really hard. I am dying countless times and it's really frustrating but at the same time it also kinda feels really good especially when i take a boss down. The mechanics and gameplay is really awesome and it kinda counters the frustration. I would say it's worth a try

The 'whisper' voice sounds so familiar, did the voice actor ever read parts for the W40k character Fulgrim? I'd swear, that voice sounds so close to that from a reading for Fulgrim that I've heard somewhere before.

How the fuck does this dude get it one shot. I’ll never understand gamers who can play as if they have 20 fingers and can look at what 3 people are doing simultaneously and press 3-4 controller buttons sequentially at once to pass a level. I need time to stop and think and need 3 buttons only to use, like old school games used to be. Yet some how I keep playing this game despite dying over and over and over and over and over…

After watching this video for about 10 minutes, I felt the the combat style monotonous
that's because it's the opening level. he has no skills yet and is fighting a single type of enemy. watch the ones playing it on hardcore, those start with all skills and all enemies. its shows more how the game becomes when it progresses
