I love all your videos, but I think this is my favourite one ❤️ Certainly it is one I will be watching again and again, because everything you said resonated with how I want to live. The sense of entitlement you discussed at the start is something I have noticed in many Bulgarian people and yes, in myself too 🙈 I have been working on cultivating emotional and mental independence, and it's probably a never-ending journey, but I suspect it is one of the best gifts we could give ourselves.

Many years ago I had muted my television to talk with my sister on the phone. The news was on and as I listened to my sister's lengthy monologue, I became more and more anxious at the images that were flashing like gunshots across the screen. I had never realized until that moment the violence I was being subjected to instead of information. If I hadn't had the sound off at that point what I was taking in visually may not have stood out as glaringly as it did. I stopped watching news that day, and I listen to it instead on National Public Radio (and not every day). I've also moved away from cities and into the woods and lakes in a rural US state. I am 64 and dedicated my life to teaching kids with learning disabilities and non-English speakers, but I constantly despaired that the world needed so much help and I always felt I didn't do enough. These days I am kinder to myself, and while I do volunteer with organizations that are meaningful to me and are important, I know that my own sense of peace is as important as anything else now. I cannot save the world, I can only make my small corner of it better. I agree with your mindful fundamentals, and I wish you a belated happy birthday.
You have such mental clarity and insight over deep and important topics for us humans, as espiritual, psychological and social beings. I'm a psychologist and love to hear your ideias. Greetings from Portugal 💖🌏

Wow your wisdom is very profound and intense. My birthday was on 1/19. Officially I am 68 ha ha. Took me so many years to learn and internalized the principles of this presentation. It is amazing how we are evolving and transforming ourselves more quickly than previous generations. To grow and expand we need to be willing to challenge what we consider our truth. Being yourself is the best gift gou can ever get. Being mainstream is something very vintage, just for ordinary people with no special interests. One onself must trace the line in the sand separating ordinary from special. I'm 56, old enough to decide whether I would like to get into such mainstream social and cultural trend I consider so crappish or to stand alone not dealing with such miseries

This one resonates deeply as today I got some disappointing news that throws a wrench in my working towards an important personal goal. It is rare in this time of hyped up “you can do anything you set your mind to” messaging to hear a grounded perspective that acknowledges a basic reality of human experience: that life is difficult and one often runs into roadblocks and dead ends. Having the mental, emotional and spiritual fortitude to carry on and look for other ways of approaching a goal is necessary! I haven’t figured out my “Plan B” yet, but I have faith that I will figure out a way to do what I must to carry on. Thank you for your sweet, soulful presence. ❤

I grew up in a cult that says it's wrong to celebrate birthdays. My parents wouldn't let me party with my friends and that made me promise to myself that when I became an adult (and moved out of their house) I would celebrate all my birthdays. It seems like such a simple thing, but for me it was a realization that finally I was free.

about having a "Plan B". I'm awaiting an important
document,it has a lot to do with the recertification
of the apartment that I rent. I called the Social Security
office and they told me that if I don't receive it by next
Tuesday, that I should call them once again. "Plan B"
is making an appointment and going to pick it up in
person,not a problem because I'm grateful that I have
a Home to call my own. Your video came "The Nick Of Time".
Reminding me to be patient but to also consider having a
