I think it really depends on what you’re studying. For psychology (what I’m studying) it’s worth it in my opinion. For business, I’ve heard good things about the Rotman program but I know Ryerson also has a good program. Don’t go to UofT because of the name, go because the program will give you what you’re looking for. Definitely explore your options first!

I am sure you are aware of the thing called POSt. Its basically that for many programs, even after getting accepted into uni you arent actually in your program until you meet a certain requirement, which is mostly insane. They do this to get as many students in UofT as they can while still not letting them in competitive programs to maintain their ranking. Also, there's barely any time to socialize, make friends, attend events or relax. In my first 2 years, we had suicide every year because of the stressful environment. But keep in mind, your experience in UofT can be good so I don't mean to ruin this moment for you. I am just telling you things I wish I knew. Maybe your time in UofT will be much better than others. I know people who had a great experience at UofT. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them

@@amritaj14 I cleared 6 interviews to get selected for a special program where I got to take a specialised course with a real industry project and guaranteed internship but was thrown out of CS specialist because I got sick during the finals and didn't score high enough. So now I have to minor in CS and couldn't take that special program.
Me too, I’m from the US, the only problem I see is how expensive it is for international students compared to domestic ones with an approximate tuition of 54600CAN for business and management, I understand since here in the US it’s the same for out of state students. You can try applying for the Lester B. Scholarship like me which gives you the opportunity to study for free and with residence
