Great video. I have a 2013 Audi A3 TDI and this simplified the process for me immensely. Got the tuned file from Charlie at Kerma in less than 24 hours. After receiving an error code ("F002") during the flash process, I got on the phone with Jason and he and Charlie were able to resend me an updated tuned file based on the error right away and after that, the flash process went smoothly. Now my A3 TDI runs like a beast! I ordered the DSG tune as well and can't wait until their special tool is available to help me complete thst process. Thanks again!
I will never not watch this video when using the qpro+. I have had to reload my tune a couple times because of the dealer doing troubleshooting one of their steps is to just load their tune just in case. I didn’t use this video once and messed up the steps caused an error and the car wouldn’t turn over luckily found this video followed the steps and recovered from a bad spot.
Hey man, thanks for the video. Once I clicked yes to confirm writing file, I get an error that says “warning: please update template file”. Any clue what that means?
@@sebastiansanchez5431 yes, email Kerma and tell them you got that error and they will send you a brand new link. If you email them now, you might get a response by the end of the day :) best of luck!
Hi! I have a questions, how big is stock files 2MB? Can you use a different vendor to modified files or you have to work only wits KERMA? And, how many vehicle you can read and write? I checked in Malone tuning, they devices looks prety close, bat allowed, locked, to only for 1 VIN?
I would never allow someone else modify a file unless the car gets a dyno tune. Kerma puts in many many hours of tuning to get these Tunes right and safe. Having a random tuner mess with it is just a big NO NO...

How long did it take for the tune to load into the car? And did they charge you for the tune after you bought the qpro+?
Hi - could i use a Kerma tune for one MK6 and flash it on another identical make/model?
No they are VIN locked
Is there any way of doing this without a computer because I wanna tune my car but if I need a computer to hook up to the tuner then there’s no point
You can ship the ecu to kerma
Very helpful video, was the exact same process for my 3.0 TDI 👍

Locked to 1 vin dont really know the file size but it is really small.

@@PincheALsGarage I have tune shop in my contry which do tuning in the same level like KERMA, but chiper 3-4 times than KERMA....
What type of file did you receive back from KermaTDI?
@@erichgeilerbmx I didn't send them my files! I don't wanna to pay them around $800 for programmer tool which I can use for ONLY 1 vehicle!
Thanks for the tutorial. We couldn’t select the arrow and that helped a lot haha
I cant select the arrow either, where you able to eventually? I tried calibrating the screen but it says calibration failed every time
@@bryantlaprade8477 yeah eventually it worked just as to really get in the corner with you nail. Kind of a pain
@@Givey8 I'm gunna go try it one more time, even if it works I hope there is a fix for this, updating didn't do anything
It fuckin worked!!! Pardon my French but I'm stoked I thought I was screwed
Can this be installed on more than one car? I'm thinking of buying one used but don't want to get ripped if it's bound to a single car.
No they are VIN mated once used. You can not use it on any other car after it get used.
Have you had any issues with changing tunes? From modified to stock?
Not yet. Done it 2 times so far with no issues
